The A. trying ti remediate to the slowness with wh1ch the esteres of chaulmoogra produce their effect, has augmented the dosage as under: In the adults, supposing that the usual dosage was 5 cc, weekly has doubled it and thriced it per injection and per week. In the child , the treatment has been more intensive, from 0,2 cc. to 0,3 cc. por injection and per kilo, giving 0,6 to 0,9 cc por week. The treatment has been prolonged durind a ling time, in several cases during 2 years. The local tolerance was absolute, with total absence of toxic phenomenous. The index of sedimentatio of the blood was ameliorated, as also the increase of weight. A few patients had slight decrease of weight. Teh clinical results as well as bacteriological were neatly superior to those obtained by the usual treatment. Tolerence as well as the therapeutical results were visible more sensible in children than in adults, in the first ones, the treatment was, made more intensively.
