Outcomes and Review in Surgery of Lateral Semicircular Canal Dehiscence in Cholesteatomatous Otitis Media: A Case Series.

Labyrinthine fistula is one of the most frequent complications of cholesteatoma otitis. We report two cases where a canal wall down mastoidectomy is made due to the characteristics of the cholesteatoma, achieving good outcomes in relation to bone conductive hearing. Lipoma Of The Internal Auditory Canal: An Uncommon Cause Of Unilateral Deafness And Dizziness.

Lipomas inside the internal auditory canal are infrequent. We describe a 43 years old woman who complains about sudden unilateral deafness, tinnitus and dizziness. With CT and RMN we make a certain diagnosis of lipoma inside the internal auditory canal. Due to the absence of limitations, we offer an annual follow up for assessing the patient's clinical situation.
