Cuestionario de personalidad eficaz para la formación profesional / Efficient personality questionnaire for profesional training

Este estudio se enmarca dentro del ámbito teórico del constructo «Personalidad eficaz». Se presenta el estudio de validez interna y fiabilidad de un cuestionario en su origen compuesto por 60 ítems aplicado a estudiantes de los ciclos formativos de grado superior de Formación Profesional, reducido finalmente a 24 ítems, superando su inicial coeficiente alfa de Cronbach de 0,84. Se obtienen seis factores de primer orden: autoconcepto social, autoconcepto académico, capacidad resolutiva, autoestima, expectativa de éxito y afrontamiento de problemas. Se obtiene un único factor de segundo orden denominado «Personalidad eficaz». La solución factorial de seis componentes presenta similitud tanto con la versión española para secundaria como las versiones chilena para poblaciones de secundaria y universitaria, diversificando la inicial dimensión de autoconcepto en autoconcepto y autoestima (AU)

This study falls within the theoretical framework of the construct of the Efficient Personality. In this work, we present the study of validity and reliability of an original questionnaire made up of 60 items, applied to students from formative cycles of higher Profesional Training. The questionnaire was reduced to 24 items, surpassing its initial .84 Cronbach alpha coefficient. Six first-order factors were obtained: Social Self-concept, Academic Self-concept, Solving Ability, Self-esteem, and Problem Coping. One second-order factor was obtained: Efficient Personality. The six-component factorial solution is similar both to the Spanish version for secondary school and to the Chilean versions for secondary and university populations, dividing the initial dimension of Self-concept into Self-concept and Self-esteem (AU)

Adaptación chilena del cuestionario de personalidad eficaz para adolescentes / A Chilean version of the Efficient Personality Questionnaire for Adolescents

Esta investigación se centra en la adaptación del Cuestionario de Personalidad Eficaz en contextos educativos a la realidad chilena. Este instrumento pretende medir el constructo personalidad eficaz, conformado por cuatro esferas del yo identificadas como: fortalezas, demandas, retos y relaciones. La versión original del Cuestionario está conformada por 58 ítems. Se introducen modificaciones en 30 de sus ítems. Su aplicación a una muestra de 594 estudiantes de tercero y cuarto curso de enseñanza media de cuatro establecimientos educacionales de Viña del Mar permitió establecer sus características psicométricas. La nueva versión del instrumento (23 ítems) tiene una fiabilidad de 0.85. El análisis factorial revela una estructura de cuatro componentes que explican un 50,42% de la varianza total. Estos componentes, que poseen una gran similitud con el instrumento original, son denominados: autorrealización académica, autorrealización social, eficacia resolutiva y autoestima. El análisis factorial de segundo orden revela una estructura conformada por un solo componente que explica un 43,28% de la varianza total, confirmando, de esta manera, la presencia de un factor único que correspondería al constructo personalidad eficaz postulado

This investigation aims at adapting the test for Efficient Personality in educational contexts to Chilean reality. This instrument measures the construct efficient personality, made up of four levels of the self: strengths, requests, challenges and relationships. The original version has 58 items. In order to adapt it to our reality, 30 items were modified. The instrument was applied to a sample of 594 third and fourth secondary level students from four educational institutions of Viña del Mar. The new version of the instrument (23 items) presents a .85 reliability coefficient. The factorial analysis shows a structure of four basic factors which explain 50.42 % of the total variance. These factors, which are very similar those proposed in the original instrument, are named as academic self realization, social self realization, solving efficiency, and self steem. The second order factors analysis reveals a single factors structure that explains 43,28 % of the total variance, thus confirming the presence of the only factor that would correspond to the efficient personality construct presented
