RESUMO

Objective@#To investigate the relationships among psychological resilience, parental control, and behavioral problems in middle school students, aiming to provide evidencebased recommendations for the prevention and intervention of behavioral issues in middle school students, as well as for the development of related policies.@*Methods@#A stratified cluster sampling method was used to select 2 745 participants from three cities in Guizhou Province with different levels of economic development from August to December 2021. The Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Parental Control Questionnaire, and Psychological Resilience Questionnaire were administered to junior high school students and their parents. A network analysis method was employed to construct a network analysis model of factors influencing behavioral problems.@*Results@#The detection rate of behavioral problems among junior high school students in Guizhou Province was 22.62%. The scores for psychological resilience (goal focus, emotional control, positive cognition, family support, and interpersonal assistance) and proactive inquiry in behavior control were higher in the group without behavioral problems than in the group with behavioral problems. Scores for psychological control (inducing guilt, with drawing affection, and asserting authority) were higher in the group with behavioral problems than in the group without behavioral problems, with statistically significant differences (t=9.80, 17.76, 6.21, 12.20, 13.18, 6.28, 11.58, 11.10, 10.74, P<0.05). The network model showed that among the same variable factors, the strongest connection weight was between inducing guilt and withdrawing affection, with a weight of 0.79. Between different variables, there were negative correlation between behavioral problems and psychological resilience (goal focus, emotional control, positive cognition, family support, interpersonal assistance) and behavior control (proactive inquiry, behavioral restraint) with correlation coefficients (r=-0.25, -0.42, -0.16, -0.31, -0.33, -0.17, -0.03, P<0.05), respectively. There were positive correlation between psychological control factors (inducing guilt, withdrawing affection, and asserting authority) and behavioral problems (r=0.29, 0.27, 0.27), and a negative correlation between these psychological control factors and psychological resilience factors (goal focus, emotional control, positive cognition, family support, interpersonal assistance)(r=-0.53--0.13)(P<0.05). The strongest connection weight was between withdrawing affection and family support, with a connection weight of -0.53. Family support was an important bridge symptom connecting the entire behavioral problem network model, with a high centrality.@*Conclusions@#The detection rate of behavioral problems among junior high school students in Guizhou Province is relatively high. Assisting adolescents in establishing a supportive family environment facilitates the cultivation of their psychological resilience, thereby mitigating the occurrence of behavioral problems.

RESUMO

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a multifactorial pathological disease. Although the molecular mechanism of the onset of NAFLD has not been fully elucidated, oxidative stress is believed to play a key role in this process and can affect a variety of physiological functions. In recent years, the use of active components of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of NAFLD has become a research hotspot. This article summarizes the role of active components of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of NAFLD from the perspective of anti-oxidative stress effect, so as to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of NAFLD.

RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of flupentixol and melitracen in optimizing conven-tional treatment for postherpetic neuralgia. Methods Seventy patients of both sexes with thoracolumbar postherpetic neuralgia, were divided into 2 groups ( n=35 each) according to the registration order: pa-tients with odd number were included in control group ( group C) and patients with even number were in-cluded in flupentixol-melitracen group (group D). Patients in group C received conventional treatment: an-ti-epileptic drugs, analgesia with opioids, neurotrophy, paravertebral nerve block and physical therapy. Flupentixol-melitracen 10. 5 mg was taken orally based on the conventional treatment in group D. The time for treatment was recorded. The severity of pain was assessed by using the numeric rating scale, and anxiety and depression were evaluated using the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale before treatment and on 3rd and 7th days after treatment. The development of flupenthixol and melitracen-related adverse reactions was recorded during treatment in group D. Results Compared with group C, the numeric rating scale and Hos-pital Anxiety and Depression Scale scores were significantly decreased on 3rd and 7th days after treatment, and the time for treatment was shortened in group D (P<0. 05). No flupenthixol-and melitracen-related ad-verse reactions were found in group D. Conclusion Flupentixol-melitracen can optimize the conventional therapeutic effect for postherpetic neuralgia.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND:Sodium butyrate, a histone deacetylase inhibitor, can inhibit cell proliferation, and induce apoptosis and differentiation of various cancer cells. However, the role of sodium butyrate combined with tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) on lung cancer stem cells remains unclear. OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of sodium butyrate combined with TRAIL on biological behaviors of lung cancer stem cells. METHODS:Magnetic bead separation was used to separate lung cancer stem cells (CD133+) from human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells. After the lung cancer stem cells were treated with simple DMEM/F12, DMEM/F12 containing sodium butyrate (5 mmol/L), TRAIL (50 μg/L) or sodium butyrate combined with TRAIL, the cell proliferation within 96 hours of culture was determined by MTT assay; the apoptosis within 24 hours of culture was measured by flow cytometry; the cell migration within 48 hours of culture was detected by cell scratch test; the expression levels of pluripotent transcription factors (Oct4, Sox2 and Nanog) within 48 hours of culture were detected using western blot analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The CD133+ lung cancer stem cells were successfully enriched from human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells. MTT assay showed that sodium butyrate and TRAIL significantly inhibited the proliferation of lung cancer stem cells (P< 0.05), and the combination effect was even stronger (P < 0.05). Results from flow cytometry analysis and scratch test showed that sodium butyrate or TRAIL induced apoptosis and inhibited cell migration of lung cancer stem cells (P < 0.05), and the combination of sodium butyrate and TRAIL showed a stronger effect (P < 0.05). In addition, the expression levels of Oct4, Sox2 and Nanog were significantly down-regulated by sodium butyrate (P < 0.05), TRAIL or sodium butyrate combined with TRAIL, and the combination effect was stronger (P < 0.05). In conclusion, sodium butyrate and TRAIL have synergistic effects on lung cancer stem cells, indicating a new way for treatment of lung cancer.

RESUMO

Objective To study the effect of the mouse angiostatin cDNA gene transfecting into human liver cancer cell line HCC7721 on cell growth, cell cycle phase distribution, cell morphology in vitro and tumorigenesis in vivo , and the mechanisms. Methods The gene fragment of mouse angiostatin cDNA was directly cloned into an eukaryotic expression plasmid pcDNA3.1(+) of the promoter CMV between the multicloning sites HindⅢ and XbaⅠ and confirmed the correct recombinant plasmid pcDNA3.1(+) angio through enzymatic digestion and gene sequencing. Then it was transfected into human liver cancer cell line HCC7721 with liposome, pcDNA3.1(+) as vecter control and liposome as mock control. After 30 day selection by neomycin G418, angiostatin expression at the levels of mRNA and protein in vitro were tested by RNA dot blot and FACS respectively. Cell morphology under was observed light microscope, made growth curves were made, and cell cycle distribution checked in FACS. Animal model was set up to study tumorigenesis in vivo of those cells transplanted subcutaneously in the right hind legs of nude mice BALBc. Microvessel density (MVD) was analyzed and angiostatin expression in the tumor tissues by in situ immunohistochemistry. Results The recombinant eukaryotic expression plasmid pcDNA3.1(+) angio was constructed Auccessfully. After selection of G418 for about 4 weeks there were macroscopic cell clones in the experimental group and vector control group, but no survival cells in the mock control. In vitro angiostatin were expressed in the experimental group, but not in the vector control. There weren't significant changes in cell morphology, cell growth curves and cell cycle distribution between the experimental and the control group. However, the nude mice experiment showed that tumorigenic capability of the experimental cells had been reduced greatly. Immunochemistry study showed that there were much less microvessels and conversely stronger angiostatin positive staining in the tumor tissues than in the control group. Conclusions Mouse angiostatin has no direct inhibition on human liver cancer cell line HCC7721 in vitro , but it inhibits effectively the tumorigenesis of HCC7721 in vivo , which is probably due to its inhibition on tumor angiogenesis in a paracrine path way.
