Introducción: el análisis de la composición corporal (CC) es un elemento esencial en la práctica clínica nutricional. La impedancia bioeléctrica es una de las técnicas más utilizadas para estimar la CC. Se han planteado diversos enfoques para disminuir el margen de error que presenta, asegurando su aplicación en todas las poblaciones. Uno de ellos es el uso de vectores de impedancia, mediante el empleo de elipses de tolerancia. Objetivo: comparar los vectores de la muestra con la población italiana y determinar elipses de tolerancia específicas para población universitaria colombiana. Materiales y métodos: estudio observacional de corte transversal en 608 universitarios. La participación fue a conveniencia y voluntaria, entre febrero de 2022 y marzo de 2023. El software BIVA 2002 fue usado para calcular las elipses de tolerancia y BIVA Confidence para comparar los vectores de las elipses con la población italiana a partir de la prueba T2 de Hotelling, que se consideró significativa con p < 0,05. Resultados: las medidas de R/Hy Xc/H fueron mayores en mujeres (420,75 ± 56,012 Ω/m vs. 308,7508 ± 41,81 Ω/m) y (46,15 ± 5,79 Ω/m vs. 39,44 ± 5,01 Ω/m), respectivamente. Los vectores de impedancia se posicionaron sobre los cuadrantes superiores del gráfico RXc, evidenciando diferencias significativas en la distribución de los vectores de composición entre las muestras. Conclusiones: los vectores de los universitarios colombianos fueron diferentes a la población de referencia, por lo que fue necesario determinar las elipses específicas.(AU)

RESUMO

INTRODUCTION: Weight-related stigma (WS) has been associated with adverse psychosocial and physical health effects. Despite the relationship between WS and allostatic load, there are no integrative reviews of this association. This scoping review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the relationship between allostatic load biomarkers associated with WS by identifying gaps in this topic and proposing recommendations for future research. METHODS AND ANALYSIS: This protocol was guided by the methodological framework of Arksey and O'Malley and the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). The research questions were based on the population-concept-context framework. Studies in adults diagnosed as overweight or obese, exposed to WS and assessing the association between WS and biomarkers of allostatic load will be included. A search will be conducted in Medline (Ovid), PsycINFO (Ovid), Scopus (Elsevier), Cochrane Library (Wiley) and Google Scholar. The search strategy will be conducted in three stages, based on the JBI recommendation with the MESH terms "Social Stigma," "Weight Prejudice," "Biomarkers," "Allostasis," "Adults" and related terms. Data extraction will be done with a template adapted from JBI. The search strategy and selection process results will be presented in a flow chart and summarised in the text. The main results will be presented in a descriptive synthesis. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION: Ethics review and approval are not required. The results will be disseminated through peer-reviewed publications, conferences, congresses or symposia.

Introducción: existen diferentes factores de riesgo que pueden llegar a generar alteraciones vocales en los profesores en el ejercicio de su labor. Esta investigación busca establecer la relación entre el conocimiento de los factores de riesgo vocal y la presencia de síntomas asociados a enfermedad vocal en profesores universitarios. Método: se llevó a cabo un estudio observacional descriptivo con un diseño trans-versal con 200 profesores seleccionados bajo criterios de exclusión y exclusión. Se aplicó una encuesta online de conocimiento de los factores de riesgo vocal y la subes-cala física del Índice de Incapacidad Vocal (VHI). Para el análisis estadístico se usó Stata 14. Resultados: se encontró que los docentes presentan conocimiento de los factores de riesgo vocal y la presencia de síntomas es leve. La relación entre estas dos variables fue negativa, es decir, a mayor conocimiento vocal menor presencia de síntomas. Conclusiones: a pesar de encontrarse relación entre las variables de estudio, el nivel de significancia es bajo. Las investigaciones que indagan el conocimiento de los factores de riesgo vocal son reducidas, por lo que se recomienda continuar investi-gando esta temática


Introduction: there are different risk factors that can generate vocal alterations in teachers in the exercise of their work. This research seeks to establish the relationship between knowledge of vocal risk factors and the presence of symptoms associated with vocal disease in college teachers. Method: a descriptive observational study was carried out with a cross-sectional design with 200 teachers selected under exclusion and exclusion criteria. An online survey of knowledge of vocal risk factors and the physical subscale of the Vocal Disa-bility Index (VHI) were applied. Stata 14 was used for statistical analysis.Results: it was found that teachers present knowledge of vocal risk factors and the presence of symptoms is mild. The relationship between these two variables was ne-gative, that is, the higher the vocal knowledge, the lower the presence of symptoms.Conclusions: despite finding a relationship between the study variables, the level of significance is low. The investigations that research the knowledge of the vocal risk factors are limited. Therefore, it is recommended to continue investigating this topic.
