[Developmental defects of the facial the skull in some forms of craniosynostosis]. / O porokakh formirovaniia litsevogo cherepa pri nekotorykh formakh kraniosinostozov.

Changes in the facial skull of 74 patients with untimely synostosis of craniocerebral sutures and pathologic shape of the cerebral skull are characterized. All the patients presented with shortened base of the skull, gross deformations of the facial skull. Certain regularities in the formation of these defects were distinguished.

[Total and segmental contractile function of the left ventricle in acute myocardial infarction studied by angiography]. / Obshchaia i segmentarnaia sokratitel'naia funktsiia levogo zheludochka pri ostrom infarkte miokarda po dannym angiograficheskogo issledovaniia.

An angiographic study of 50 patients with acute myocardial infarction was carried out in order to assess total and segmental left-ventricular contractility. The comparison of left-ventricular activity in patients with transmural vs. nontransmural anterior myocardial infarction demonstrated no differences, related to the type of lesion. The type of affection of the infarction-linked artery largely influences left-ventricular activity. Nontransmural diaphragmatic myocardial infarction was associated with the least left-ventricular dysfunction. Various functional left-ventricular disorders corresponded to definite central hemodynamic patterns, associated with myocardial infarction.

[Clinical assessment of indices of total involvement of the coronary vessels]. / Klinicheskaia otsenka indeksov summarnogo porazheniia koronarnykh arterii.

Selective coronary radiography was performed in 100 patients with chronic CHD. Three indices of total affection of the coronary arteries including that modified by the authors, were analyzed with regard to assessment of relationships between the main clinical characteristics and indicators of left ventricular functions. A higher sensitivity of Califf's index modified by the authors was noted.
