RESUMO

In this paper, we consider a distributed-order fractional stochastic differential equation driven by Lévy noise. We, first, prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution. A Euler-Maruyama (EM) scheme is constructed for the equation, and its strong convergence order is shown to be min{1-α∗,0.5}, where α∗ depends upon the weight function. Besides, we present a fast EM method and also the error analysis of the fast scheme. In addition, several numerical experiments are carried out to substantiate the mathematical analysis.

Problems such as cathode collapse caused by volume change and shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) limit the commercialization of Lithium-Sulfur (Li-S). Herein, we developed a sulfhydryl-containing multifunctional binder prepared by the nucleophilic ring-opening reaction of thiocyclic carbonates with amino groups. The binders (CNP-T and CNP-F) form sulfur-containing polymers with sulfur through the wet-slurry process, thereby effectively suppressing the shuttle effect. The abundant polar functional groups (e.g., -NH2, -CS(NH)-) in CNP-T and CNP-F can effectively adsorb LiPSs to weaken the shuttle effect, which is confirmed by both density functional theory (DFT) and experimental results. At the same time, their own hyperbranched network structure can also limit the volume change of the sulfur cathode. Therefore, the Li-S battery exhibits an initial specific capacity of 924.02 mAh/g and a decay rate of 0.033% when cycled at 1C for 500 cycles.

In this study, the 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MA) was chosen to achieve the anionic intercalation into the green rust (GR) materials (MA-GR). The zeolite-rich tuff functionalized with the MA-intercalated GR (MA-GR-tuff) was subsequently synthesized and used to remove both HgII cations and CrVI anions in a binary system. MA-GR-tuff showed the best adsorption capacities to both HgII and CrVI among the adsorbent materials. The optimal combination of parameters was determined as the molar ratio of FeII to FeIII of 3.5, the molar ratio of OH- to the total iron of 3.75, the molar ratio of MA to the total iron of 2.5, and the mass ratio of the total iron to the tuff of 1.25. The pseudo-first-order kinetic model was appropriate in describing the kinetic sorption of CrVI by MA-GR-tuff. Both the pseudo-first-order kinetic model and Elovich were suitable for explaining HgII sorption. The maximum monolayer adsorption capacities of MA-GR-tuff towards CrVI and HgII were 185.19 mg/g and 72.99 mg/g, respectively. More flocs and plumes were formed in the MA-GR while the intercalation and more pores and crevices of different sizes were found in the MA-GR-tuff. Sulfhydryl complexation and the molecular sieve of tuff obviously both played a role in influencing the adsorption process. This study directly overcomes the drawback brought by the natural tuff to the treatment of a cationic-and-anionic binary system and supplies a new kind of tuff-based adsorbent for the potential use for the remediation of HM-contaminated wastewater.

Using carbon dioxide-based poly(propylene ether carbonate) diol (PPCD), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), dimethylolbutyric acid (DMBA), ferric chloride (FeCl3), and ethylene glycol (EG) as the main raw materials, a novel thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is prepared through coordination of FeCl3 and DMBA to obtain TPU containing coordination enhancement directly. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, 1H NMR, gel permeation chromatography, UV-Vis spectroscopy, tensile testing, dynamic mechanical analysis, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, and thermogravimetric analysis were explored to characterize chemical structures and mechanical properties of as-prepared TPU. With the increasing addition of FeCl3, the tensile strength and modulus of TPU increase. Although the elongation at break decreases, it still maintains a high level. Dynamic mechanical analysis shows that the glass-transition temperature moves to a high temperature gradually along with the increasing addition of FeCl3. X-ray diffraction results indicate that TPUs reinforced with FeCl3 or not are amorphous polymers. That FeCl3 coordinates with DMBA first is an effective strategy of getting TPU, which is effective and convenient in the industry without the separation of intermediate products. This work confirms that such Lewis acids as FeCl3 can improve and adjust the properties of TPU contenting coordination structures with an in-situ reaction in a low addition amount, which expands their applications in industry and engineering areas.

The present study aimed to investigate the clinicopathological features of cases of classic Kaposi's sarcoma (CKS) in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, and analyze its etiology and treatment. A total of 114 patients, who were clinicopathologically diagnosed with CKS at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University (Urumqi, China) between 1980 and 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. The clinicopathological features of CKS were summarized, and its demographic distribution, pathogenesis, etiology and treatment were examined. The results revealed that, among the 114 patients with CKS, 100 patients were men and 14 patients were women, with a respective ratio of 7:1. The average age of these patients was 57.5 years old, and 97 of the patients were from the Uygur Autonomous Region (85.1%). Among the 114 patients, 60 patients (52.6%) were from Southern Xinjiang, 50 patients (43.9%) were from Northern Xinjiang and four patients (3.5%) were from Eastern Xinjiang. It was found that CKS in the Uygur ethnic group of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region had unique clinicopathological features. The occurrence of CKS in Xinjiang may be associated with human herpes virus 8 infection, ethnicity­based susceptibility and lifestyle.
