RESUMO
El trasplante de órganos es hoy en día una forma de terapia cada vez más frecuente, en la que la Enfermería tiene un papel primordial, como encargada de los cuidados y de la Educación Sanitaria, que han sido dos de nuestros principales objetivos en la Unidad de Trasplante renal del Hospital. Con el fin de facilitar la formación, la seguridad, los autocuidados y la incorporación a la vida cotidiana de la persona trasplantada, se elaboró una guía para proporcionar al paciente trasplantado los conocimientos necesarios para la adaptación a su nueva situación tras el trasplante, siendo sus objetivos: Proporcionar al paciente la técnica necesaria y un adiestramiento eficaz, para el manejo de los nuevos tratamientos y situaciones. Disminuir la ansiedad y angustia provocadas por el desconocimiento y falta de información sobre los procesos del trasplante. Evitar situaciones de riesgo que pudieran producirse a causa de la inseguridad y carencia de formación adecuada. Previamente, se recogió durante un año, la opinión de todos los pacientes trasplantados en nuestro Hospital que ingresaron en nuestra Unidad. Se establecieron sus prioridades de información, elaborándose una guía formativa-educativa, que trata de resolver los principales diagnósticos enfermeros que pueden plantearse al alta hospitalaria del trasplantado. Se ha redactado de forma sencilla y clara, comprensible para cualquier nivel socio-cultural; esperamos contribuir con ella a aumentar la calidad de vida del paciente renal trasplantado, aumentando su independencia en esta nueva etapa que comienza, así como fomentar la interacción enfermero-paciente resolviendo sus principales dudas, promoviendo el auto-cuidado y ayudándole en la adaptación a los cambios que se van a producir en su vida y a su vuelta a la integración social y laboral
Organ transplants are nowadays an increasingly frequent form of therapy, in which Nursing plays an essential role, as the area responsible for care and Health Education, which have been two of our main objectives in the renal Transplant Unit in the Hospital. In order to provide the training, assurance, self-care and incorporation to normal life of the recipient of the transplant, a guide was drawn up to provide transplant patients with the necessary knowledge to adapt to the new situation after the transplant, the aims of which are: To provide the patient with the necessary technique and efficient skill in handling new treatments and situations. To reduce the anxiety and anguish caused by lack of knowledge and information on the transplant processes. To avoid situations of risk that could arise as a result of the in security and lack of adequate training. Previously, the opinion of all the transplant patients in our Hospital admitted to our Unit was collected. Their information priorities were established, and an educational guide was drawn up that tries to overcome the main nursing diagnoses that may arise when it is time for the transplant patient to go home. The guide has been drawn up in simple and clear terms, understandable to patients of all social and cultural levels; we hope to contribute with it to increasing the quality of life of renal transplant patients, by increasing their independence in this new state and encourage nurse patient interaction, to settle their main doubts, promoting self-care and helping them in their adaptation to the changes that will take place in their life and their return to social integration and work
