RESUMO

Aero-optical effects caused by high-speed flow fields will interfere with the transmission of starlight, reduce the accuracy of optical sensors, and affect the application of celestial navigation on hypersonic vehicles. At present, the research of aero-optical effects relies heavily on the flow field simulation of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), which requires a great deal of computing resources and time, and cannot satisfy the demand of the rapid analysis of aero-optical effects in the engineering design stage. Therefore, a quick simulation method for aero-optical effects based on a density proxy model (DP-AOQS) is proposed in this paper. A proxy model of the turbulent density field is designed to replace the density field in the CFD simulation, and the proxy model is parametrically calibrated to simulate the optical characteristics of the turbulent boundary layer (TBL) in the external flow field of the optical window. The performance of DP-AOQS in the visible light band is verified from the perspectives of density field distribution, optical path difference (OPD), and fuzzy star map. The simulation results show that the method can quickly provide the distortion results of aero-optical effects in different flight conditions on the premise of ensuring the simulation accuracy. The research in this paper provides a new analytical method for the study of aero-optical effects.

As an increasing number of asteroids are being discovered, detecting them using limited propulsion resources and time has become an urgent problem in the aerospace field. However, there is no universal fast asteroid sequence selection method that finds the trajectories for multiple low-thrust spacecraft for detecting a large number of asteroids. Furthermore, the calculation efficiency of the traditional trajectory optimization method is low, and it requires a large number of iterations. Therefore, this study combines Monte Carlo tree search (MCTS) with spacecraft trajectory optimization. A fast MCTS pruning algorithm is proposed, which can quickly complete asteroid sequence selection and trajectory generation for multispacecraft exploration of multiple asteroids. By combining the Bezier shape-based (SB) method and MCTS, this study realizes the fast search of the exploration sequence and the efficient optimization of the continuous transfer trajectories. In the simulation example, compared with the traversal algorithm, the MCTS pruning algorithm obtained the global optimal detection sequence of the search tree in a very short time. Under the same conditions, the Bezier SB method obtained the transfer trajectory with a better performance index faster than the finite Fourier series SB method. Performances of the proposed method are illustrated through a complex asteroid multiflyby mission design.

Aero-optical effects reduce the accuracy of optical sensors on high-speed aircraft. Current research usually focuses on light refraction caused by large-scale density structures in turbulence. A method for analyzing photon energy scattering caused by micro-scale structures is proposed in this paper, which can explain the macro image distortion caused by moving molecules in inhomogeneous airflow. Quantitative analysis of the propagation equation indicates that micro-scale structures may contribute more to the wavefront distortion than the widely considered large-scale structures. To analyze the micro mechanism of aero-optical effects, a transient simulator is designed based on the scaling model of transient distorted wavefronts and the artificial vortex structure. The simulation results demonstrate that correct aero-optical phenomena can be obtained from the micro mechanism of photon energy scattering. Examples of using the transient simulator to optimize the parameters of the star sensor on a hypersonic vehicle are provided. The proposed analysis method for micro-scale structures provides a new idea for studying the aero-optical effects.
