RESUMO
O tratamento restaurador atraumático (TRA) é um tratamento preventivo restaurador, fazendo-se necessário concomitante programa educativo-preventivo em saúde oral, para os fatores etiológicos da doença cárie, serem verdadeiramente controlados, sendo uma opção real de tratamento da doença cárie, em saúde pública. O objetivo do trabalho foi realizar uma avaliação in vivo, (por um período de 6, 12 e 24 meses) de 72 restaurações classe I realizadas pela técnica de TRA, utilizando um cimento de ionõmero de vidro nacional (VITRO MOLAR®) em escolares da Escola Municipal Rotary (Ilha do Governador RJ). Os re- sultados mostraram que após 6 meses, 95,83% das restaurações mantiveram-se satisfatórias, 2,78% desgastaram e 1,39% fraturaram. Após 12 meses, observou-se que 86,95% restaurações mantiveram-se satisfatórias, 7,25% restaurações desgastaram, 2,90% restaurações fraturaram e 2,90% foram perdidas e, após 24 meses, 10,0% das restaurações foram perdidas, 18,33% apresentaram desgaste, 6,67% fraturaram e 65,0% mantiveram-se satisfatórias. Conclui-se que as restaurações Classe I realizadas pela técnica de TRA, utilizando um cimento de ionômero de vidro nacional, após 12 meses apresentaram pouco desgaste de material, sem recidivas de lesões nos dentes restaurados e após 24 meses, o valor de restaurações satisfatórias é expressivo quando comparado à literatura.
The atraumatic restorative treatment (ART) is a restorative preventive treatment, making it necessary to co-educational program in preventive oral health for the etiological factors of caries are truly controlled, being a real option for treatment of dental caries in public health. The aim of this study was to evaluate in vivo (for a period of 6, 12 and 24 months) of 72 Class I restorations performed by the ART technique using a Brazilian glass ionomer cement VITRO MOLAR ® in the school Rotary-City Schoolllha do Governador - RJ. The results showed that after 6 months, 95.83% of the restorations remained satisfactory, 2.78% and 1.39% wore fractured after 12 months, it was observed that 86.95% restorations remained satisfactory, 7 25% wore restorations, fractured restorations 2.90% and 2.900/0 were lost and after 24 months, 10% of the restorations were lost, 18.33% showed wear, fractured 6.67% and 65.00/0 remained be satisfactory. We conclude that the Class I restorations performed by ART technique using the Brazilian glass ionomer cement, after 12 months showed little wear material without recurrence of lesions in teeth and after 24 months, the restorations is satisfactory significant when compared to literature.
