RESUMO

It was established in experiments on nonbred albino rats that injection of limontar (1 mg/kg) in the fetal period of pregnancy in alcoholic intoxication (6 g/kg) leads to weight loss by the female, normalization of the character of behavior and metabolic shifts in the organism, and removal of the symptoms of excitation of the sympathetic link of cardiovascular system regulation. No harmful effect of limontar on the mother-fetus biosystem was detected.

RESUMO

Individual resistance of pregnant rats and the newborns to acute hypoxic hypoxia was studied. It was found that individual resistance of the organism to hypoxia significantly decreases in the last period of pregnancy. A new drug limontar proved to possess the properties of an active antihypoxia agent. Its administration during the last third of pregnancy stimulated the organism's protective-adaptational reactions, increased the resistance of pregnant, rats and the newborns to hypoxia. Limontar significantly improves the mechanometabolic indices of an isolated perfused heart under hypoxic conditions. Analysis of the obtained data suggests that limontar increases energy formation in the myocardium through activation of a more efficient and energetically beneficial path of succinic acid oxidation.

RESUMO

Natural metabolite glycine administered per os to rats in the fetus period of pregnancy in a dose of 1 mg/kg was found to exert a corrective action with respect to the toxic effect of ethanol in the mother-fetus system. Glycine prevents loss in the body weight, normalizes functional state of the nervous system and metabolic disorders in the maternal organism, improve the redox processes in the lymphocytes changed under alcoholization, and protect the fetus both on the metabolic and microstructural levels.

RESUMO

A comparative study of individual resistance of rats to acute hypoxic hypoxia was performed. It was shown that individual resistance of the organism to hypoxia significantly decreases in the course of pregnancy. Limontar is shown to be active antihypoxant. Limontar administered during the last third of pregnancy stimulates protective-adaptive reactions in the females, thus increasing their resistance to hypoxia.

RESUMO

A new pathogenetically based non-medicamentous method for correction of uteroplacental bloodflow disturbances has been developed on the model of chronic placental insufficiency in rats. A single 5 min laser-magnetic exposure on day 21 of normal pregnancy resulted in a vasodilating effect with reduction of the peripheral resistance in the uterine horn vessels and with improvement of their blood supply. A new LAMA laser magneto-therapeutic device was employed. Daily 5 min sessions of laser magnetic therapy administered to rats with chronic placental insufficiency from pregnancy days 15-16 to 21 normalized uterine horn contractility and resulted in positive morphofunctional changes in the components of the uterine horns and placenta, being associated with a noticeable improvement of fetal functions. Hence, laser magnetic therapy may be regarded as an effective non-drug method for therapy of chronic placental insufficiency.

RESUMO

Clinical and experimental studies have revealed that salbupart, a beta-mimetic agent, administered in a dose of 0.14 mg/kg (the maximal therapeutic dose) markedly inhibited the spontaneous and oxytocin-induced uterine contractility, caused no embryotoxic or teratogenic effects, and did not influence fetal growth and development. The efficacy of salbupart tocolytic therapy was estimated as 75%. Blood plasma cAMP levels normalized in the pregnant women over the course of therapy. Clinical and experimental results recommend salbupart for pregnancy protecting therapy in cases with threatened spontaneous abortions.

RESUMO

The protective effect of the narcoanalgetics, viadril (hydroxydione sodium succinate) and administered intraperitoneally in doses of 5 and 20 mg/kg was studied in the experiment on 146 pregnant noninbred white rats with simulated hemic hypoxia in the late pregnancy (the 19th day). The aforementioned rats were studied for the composition of the peripheral blood, their weight gain oxidative isoenzymes (LDH), pH and pO2 in the blood. Wilson's technique was used for the assessment of the fetal status. The offspring was studied with regard to the weight increment, the rate of postnatal mortality, behavioral reactions, etc. It was stated that viadril strengthened the resistance of pregnant animals to hypoxia and contributed to the alleviation of late sequela of posthypoxic changes in the fetus and newborn.

RESUMO

In experiments on rats it was found that fenibut (50 mg/kg, 1/20 of LD50) during a single and repeated administration in the fetus period of pregnancy does not exert any negative effect on the maternal organism, the growth and development of the fetus. Seduxen administered in a dose of 50 mg/kg (1/80 of LD50) alone and in combination with fenibut was shown to decrease the female body weight gain and to disturb the fetus development. Following a single administration on the 17th day of pregnancy, the effect was poorly pronounced.

RESUMO

A perfusion device for life supporting in isolated reproductive organs is described. With the device, the following functions are possible: gas exchange in recirculating blood flow, perfusate replacement in the course of perfusion, blood flow generation in a circular circuit with simultaneous provision of hemodynamic parameters closely approximating native ones.
