RESUMO

In the Russian Federation, the number of working-age population is growing annually: in 2014, the number of able-bodied population was 33.8 million people(23.5%), while in 2018 this figure increased to 37.3 million (25.9%) [6]. In the Republic of Tatarstan, at the beginning of 2019 the number of able-bodied citizens reached 986 thousand people(26.0%). The purpose of this study was to analyze the determinants of the adult living standarts and the impact of these determinants on morbidity rates. A survey of 897 people using the SF-36 international questionnaire "SF-36 Health Status Survey". The majority of the working-age population under study was aged 60-64 (30%) and 65-69 (26%), aged 55-59 and 70-74 were 12% and 18% respectively. The smallest number of those under study was aged 75-79 (8%) and 80 and older (6%). Thus, our research has shown that the living standarts of over working-age population living in a large metropolis tends to significantly decrease depending on the age and gender. There was discovered a high level of prevalence of medical and social risk factors in these individuals, which are involved in the formation of the determinant of living standarts. For the first time, it was revealed that in people over the working age, the intensity of morbidity depends on the level of determinants of living standarts. The data obtained make it possible to develop measures to improve the quality of life of people over the working age and reduce their morbidity.

RESUMO

A hundred and forty patients with destructive pulmonary tuberculosis who suffered concurrently from purulent otitis were examined. Of them, 7 (5%) patients were found to have tuberculosis of the middle ear and to have Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the sputum and otic discharge. These 7 patients were diagnosed as having disseminated destructive pulmonary tuberculosis for as long as 10 years. Tuberculosis of the middle ear was regarded as a secondary disease that occurs hematogeneously as most patients were observed to have in the lung active tuberculosis and dissemination foci throughout the lung fields with significant signs of tuberculous intoxication when tuberculous otitis was detected. Clinical cure of tuberculosis of the middle ear was noted in 2 patients; a stable dry perforation of the tympanic membrane was developed in 5. The mean duration of therapy was 169 days. Due to therapy, there was stabilization of pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis with bacterial absence in the sputum and otic discharge of all the patients.

RESUMO

With the object of studying the impact of socio-hygienic, medico-biological and other factors on the level of stomatological morbidity in children from antenatal period and up to age 15, the author conducted an in-depth survey of 9,820 families residing in towns of autonomous republics of Middle Povolzhie. A multifactor disperse analysis revealed that the development of stomatological morbidity is greatly influenced by socio-hygienic conditions in the family, health status during pregnancy, maternal and child medico-biological factors and also by factors of stomatological medical care provided to children. The data obtained made it possible to formulate a conception of medicosocial prevention of major stomatological diseases. The data on the effectiveness of medicosocial prevention of caries in children were provided.
