RESUMO
The eradication of ox warble fly from Cyprus is described. Initially, the major part of the eradication consisted of dressing every bovine animal with derris at monthly intervals between December and May (inclusive), but in the final and critical stages when the level of infestation had fallen to 0-2 per cent, it was found that the most efficient and economical approach was to offer a financial reward to any stock-owner reporting the presence of warble fly.
