In order to solve the nursing problems of local anesthesia patients under arthroscopy, a nursing method and experience based on local anesthesia patients under arthroscopy was proposed. From June 2019 to May 2021, 478 patients who underwent knee arthroscopy under spinal anesthesia or local anesthesia were retrospectively investigated, including 186 cases (38.9%) under local anesthesia and 292 cases (61.1%) under spinal anesthesia. 2% lidocaine plus epinephrine was injected locally and intra-articular in patients with local anesthesia, and 0.75% bupivacaine in patients with spinal anesthesia. It was found that in the local anesthesia group and spinal anesthesia group, 94.1% (175/186) and 98.3% (287/292) patients did not feel pain during operation. 93.0% (173/186 cases) and 96.2% (281/292 cases) of patients in the two groups were satisfied or very satisfied with the effect of anesthesia, respectively. The experimental results showed that local anesthesia was a simple and effective anesthesia method for knee arthroscopy, which was more reliable and safer than spinal anesthesia. Local anesthesia could be used for knee arthroscopy or cleaning and rinsing, free body removal, or even common meniscinoplasty.

It remains obscure whether circulating aortic zinc (Zn) and copper (Cu) levels are associated with the progress of human abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). Therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis to explore this relationship. A literature search on circulating and aortic zinc and copper levels and AAA patients was conducted using online databases including PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane up to March 20, 2019. To compare Zn and Cu concentrations in AAA patients with those in aortic occlusive disease (AOD) patients or healthy aorta donors or healthy blood donors, pooled weighted mean difference (WMD) and its 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated. Subgroup analysis, sensitivity analysis, and meta-regression analysis were applied to explain the heterogeneity and evaluate the robustness of combined results. A total of 10 cross-sectional studies, including 252 cases and 304 controls, were used for meta-analysis. We found that circulating zinc and Zn/Cu ratio in AAA patients were significantly lower [WMD (95%CI): - 2.23 (- 4.10, - 0.36); - 0.18 (- 0.31, - 0.05), respectively] than those in non-AAA patients. Similarly, aneurysmal aorta had significantly lower zinc levels and Zn/Cu ratio [WMD (95%CI): - 9.22 (- 15.37, - 3.07); - 6.46 (- 10.14, - 2.77), respectively] than those in control group. No difference in circulating or aortic copper levels was noted between AAA patients and control group [WMD (95%CI): - 0.24 (- 2.09, 1.61); 0.30 (- 0.01, 0.61) , respectively]. Our meta-analysis suggests that zinc levels and Zn-Cu ratio, but not copper levels, may influence aneurysmal progress of AAA.

Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is one of the most common cancers worldwide, and its carcinogenesis is influenced by a complex network of gene interactions. In this study, the microarray expression profile was re-annotated into a lncRNA-mRNA biphasic profile. LncRNA-mRNA interactions were confirmed by established miRNA-RNA data and hypergeometric test. Then, a PTC-related lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA network (PTCRN) was constructed by integrating differentially expressed genes with the RNA-RNA networks. The new network consisted of 21 lncRNAs, 241 mRNAs and 803 edges. To prioritize PTC-related genes, we performed topological analysis and random walk with restart (PWR) algorithm analysis of PTCRN. Both analyses identified lncRNA RP11-159F24.1 as a hub node in the network, which could interact with 47 mRNAs by sponging miR-485. In functional enrichment analysis, these interacting mRNAs were associated with the pathways in cancer. In validation, RP11-159F24.1 (up-regulated; P = 0.0013) showed an opposite expression pattern with its target miR-485 (down-regulated; P = 0.0013) in PTC, indicating that the RP11-159F24.1/miR-485/mRNAs axis might play an important role in the development of PTC. In conclusion, this study has constructed a PTC-related lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA network and identified the hub lncRNA RP11-159F24.1 in the tumorigenesis, which provided novel insights to explore the underlying mechanism of PTC.
