RESUMO
Cervical pregnancy is still a diagnostic and therapeutic problem. What is important in its treatment is to preserve women's fertility but very often more radical surgical interventions cannot be avoided. Two cases of cervical pregnancy are presented. In one case only the cervix was amputated, so that the women's fertility was preserved. In the other patient the uterus had to be removed because, after attempts to apply more conservative surgical treatment, intense bleeding was threatening the woman's life.
