[Use of oral fluid metabolic rates for the assessment of reparative osteogenesis after bone augmentation procedures].

The use of osteoplastic materials allows extending indications for dental implants placement by considerable alveolar bone atrophy. The aim of the study was to reveal bone tissue metabolites which can be used as early bone destruction markers after bone augmentation procedure before any radiological signs occur. For this purpose the content of osteocalcinum, C-telopeptides, alkaline phosphatase and lactate dehydrogenase was examined in oral fluid. The increase of osteocalcinum and C-telopeptides and decrease activity of alkaline phosphatase and lactate dehydrogenase in comparison with control represented the pattern specific for bone destruction.

[Substantiation of the program of realization of bases of the state policy of a healthy nutrition of population of the Samara Region for the period till 2020 year].

Substantiate the need for long-term program of sanitation the diet of the population of the Samara Region. A systemic analysis of actual nutrition of different population groups in the region showed an excessive consumption of fats and added sugar--the main risk factors of obesity, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus. The risks of inadequate consumption of vitamins B, calcium, iron, caused by the irrational combination of the foodstuff use, are revealed.

[Phenotype characteristics of humoral immunity parameters in patients with chronic generalized periodontitis with different blood groups].

Interrelationships between parameters of humoral immunity with AB0 blood groups have been investigated. The highest content of IgA to transglutaminase was found in A(II) patients, while the lowest content was found in AB(IV) patients. The blood content on anti-gliadin IgA was higher in healthy donors. The oral liquid of periodontic patients contained anti-gliadin IgA and IgB lacking in healthy donors. It have been found that 47% of healthy people and 52.7% of patients are infcted with Helicobacter pylori. In the group of periodontic patients A(II) individually predominated; they were characterized by the presence of antibodies to H. pylori in the oral liquid, these antibodies were absent in healthy donors. The pepsinogen level was higher in blood of periodontic patients than in healthy donors. B(III) patients had the lowest level of blood pepsinogen.

Hydrogen peroxide has been found to have a distorting effect on the quality of determination of the serological markers of hepatitis B and C, transglutaminase antibodies: an increase in the percent of false higher (anti-HBsAg, HBeAg, anti-HCV) and false lower (anti-HBeAg) values, and on the results of PCR-based diagnosis (PCR inhibition that was more pronounced especially in low viremia). A possibility of interference of measurement results in the blood metabolite pool should be taken into account in the use of high-technology methods of laboratory analysis. In particular, there may be changes in the detection of immunological and molecular biological methods in hyperpyruvatemia and hyperoxaloacetatemia, with elevated peroxide concentrations during pathological processes.

The performed studies provided new evidence for biological variability in clinically important analytes, estimated a possible association of the metabolic features and the conservative genetic attribute--the ABO blood group. Certain features in the levels of protein, carbohydrate, lipid, and mineral metabolic parameters were revealed in relation to various blood groups.

[Dental periimplantitis distinctive features diagnostic in cases of minimal thyroid insufficiency].

There were disclosed syndrome of minimal thyroid insufficiency in each fourth patient with dental periimplantitis and absence of thyroid gland dysfunction in case of mucositis of periimplantitis origin. The data were presented of minimal thyroid insufficiency manifestations in cases of inflammatory complications of dental implantations the indicator of which was the content of overall and free thyroxin in oral fluid. There were determined common and differentiating peculiarities of oral fluid homeostasis in cases of dental periimplantitis and mucositis of periimplantitis origin.

[The role of small molecules in regulation of activity of cytoplasmatic dehydrogenases].

The influence of silistrong on the activity of erythrocyte cytoplasmatic dehydrogenases and also purified glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPH) was studied. Silistrong and its biologically active components (ethanol and silimarine) were found to activate GAPDH, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), alpha-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase (GPDH) both in lysates of erythrocytes and in isolated GAPDH. The compounds studied are able to protect these enzymes and also to restore their activity of enzymes modified by hydrogen peroxide. Maximal activity is a characteristic of silistrong.

Minimal brain dysfunctions in children with various perinatal complications are accompanied by metabolic imbalance manifested by decreased total protein content, the tendency to reduced triglycerides, increased cholesterol concentrations in the oral fluid, the trend to hypoproteinaemia, hypoglycaemia, hypotriglyceridaemia. The most significant changes in the redox systems alpha-ketoglutarate-glutamate, oxaloacetate-malate, pyruvate-lactate, dioxyacetone phosphate-alpha-glycerophosphate in biological fluids were revealed in cases of antenatal alcoholisation. A certain correlation was found between anemia in pregnant women and hypothyroidal background in children. In addition, a high level of free and total thyroxine, that of total triiodthyronine were found in the oral fluid. Hypophysis--thyroid dysregulation in children with minimal brain dysfunction associated with gestosis in their mothers during pregnancy, was manifested by decreased content of total and free T4 and T3 in blood serum and increased level of the thyroid-stimulating hormone.

The effect of intravenous administration of lactate dehydrogenase (5000 E/kg) on some metabolic parameters was investigated. The hyperenzymemia was accompanied by changes of metabolite content (glutamate, 2-oxoglutarate, lactate, dihydroxyacetone phosphate) and enzyme activities (aldolase, lactate dehydrogenase, transaminase) in heart, liver and skeletal muscles. Intravenously administered tritiated lactate dehydrogenase was preferentially found in skeletal muscles, liver, kidneys and some other organs.

Multi-level system of defense mechanisms is studied in 206 normal subjects living in an ecologically unfavorable region and working at chemical plants. Control group consisted of 24 subjects living in en ecologically safe region. The content of total protein and albumin and its effective and binding capacity were decreased, while the content of medium molecular weight peptides increased in the blood of subjects exposed to technogenic environmental pollution. The detected shifts are regarded as a mechanism of development of chronic fatigue syndrome.
