RESUMO
A one-moment radical method of surgical treatment was used in treatment of 36 patients with ischio-rectal and pelvio-rectal forms of acute paraproctitis. The method of surgical treatment of acute paraproctitis considerably shortened the period of hospital treatment, promoted the formation of a soft scar, excluded the development of the anal sphincter incompetence, and reduced the percentage of recurrent diseases.

The proposed method of surgical treatment of the epithelial coccygeal track complicated by numerous fistulas in the gluteal-sacral-coccygeal area was tested in 24 patients. Advantages of the method over the generally accepted ones consist in the following: healthy skin is not excised; all tissues involved in the inflammatory process are ablated; there is no tension of tissues during suturing the wound.

Experimental adhesion process in the abdominal cavity was provoked in 36 guinea-pigs by autoimmune injury of the abdomen. The adhesions were exposed to impulse magnetic field and low-intensive infra-red laser radiation. The effects of the latter modalities on adhesion in early postoperative period, further use of lidase electrophoresis and ultrasound were studied. A combined action of various physical factors changes adhesion process: limits adhesion and visceral deformity, makes adhesions elastic.

The results of treatment of 399 patients with various forms of acute paraproctitis are discussed. Comparative evaluation of therapeutic methods applied in the clinic is made. The authors suggest a complex method of treatment in which they use thermography with fluid crystals in topical diagnosis of abscesses of the pararectal fatty tissue and apply papain in combination with medium-frequency ultrasound for the treatment of perineal wounds. This method led to recovery of 97.4% of patients.
