[Kawasaki disease in an adult European].

A case of Kawasaki disease is reported with manifestations of autoimmune vasculitis and predominant affection of coronary arteries. The relevant literature review describes major symptoms of this pathology and risk factors of its atypical forms. It is emphasized that rare occurrence of Kawasaki disease among non-mongoloid subjects should not make the general practitioner les suspicious of this condition.

[Myopericarditis: clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment]. / Osobennosti kliniki, diagnostiki i lecheniia mioperikarditov.

Clinical characteristics of viral myopericarditis are analysed basing on the original and literature data. Four evolutionary stages of electrocardiographic image of the disease are described. Higher incidence of hemorrhagic myopericarditides is stated. These are suggested to have a viral nature. Steroid glucocorticoids produce a satisfactory therapeutic effect. The prognosis of the disease is favourable.

[Changes in cell membrane lipid composition when exposed to native plasma proteins during thermal trauma]. / Izmeneniia lipidnogo sostava kletochnykh membran pod vliianiem nativnykh belkov plazmy krovi pri termicheskoi travme.

Changes of phospholipid contents of cellular membranes were investigated on the 1 and 3 days after thermal trauma. The influence of injection of principle antioxidative plasmaproteins-, CP, TF and preparation BITO on phospholipid contents was studied. It is shown, that the usage of CP, BITO, TF in less grade, helps to reserve easy oxidative fractions and to decrease microviscosity of cellular membranes.

[Heterochromatic regions of human chromosomes 1, 9, 16 and Y and the phenotype]. / Geterokhromaticheskie raiony khromosom 1, 9, 16 i Y u cheloveka i fenotip.

The relationship between variability of the heterochromatic regions of chromosomes 1, 9, 16, Y and the anthropometric characteristics (the height, the biacromial diameter and weight) was studied in two groups of children; 70 children had embryopathies of unknown etiology and 40 children had the Down syndrome. The positive statistically significant correlation of the C-segments lengths of chromosomes 1, 9, 16, their sum included, and above characteristics was found. The correlation coefficients of Y-chromosome were non-significant. The problems of functional role of the structural heterochromatin and its influence on viability and physical development of the organism are discussed.
