[The importance of social psychological and clinical factors for prescribing group psychotherapy for neurosis patients]. / Znachenie sotsial'no-psikhologicheskikh i klinicheskikh faktorov dlia naznacheniia gruppovoi psikhoterapii bol'nym nevrozami.

Socio-psychological and clinical factors and their significance for group psychotherapy were investigated in 62 patients with neuroses. The obtained statistically valid differences of some characteristic aspects between groups of patients with positive and negative directives. This indicates the necessity of differential approach to group psychotherapy and active individual and group work on the creation of positive motivation to this type of treatment.

The authors investigated some social, psychological, clinical features in 72 patients suffering of neuroses with an early and late onset of the disease. Statistically important differences between the groups were observed. These data should be considered in treatment strategy, determination of the prognosis of the disease, tactics of subsequent outpatient therapy.
