RESUMO

The worldwide dissemination of New Delhi metallo-ß-lactamase-1 (NDM-1), which mediates resistance to almost all clinical ß-lactam antibiotics, is a major public health problem. The global distribution, species, sources, and potential transfer risk of blaNDM-1-carrying bacteria are unclear. Results of a comprehensive analysis of literature in 2010-2022 showed that a total of 6002 blaNDM-1 carrying bacteria were widely distributed around 62 countries with a high trend in the coastal areas. Opportunistic pathogens or pathogens like Klebsiella sp., Escherichia sp., Acinetobacter sp. and Pseudomonas sp. were the four main species indicating the potential microbial risk. Source analysis showed that 86.45 % of target bacteria were isolated from the source of hospital (e.g., Hospital patients and wastewater) and little from surface water (5.07 %) and farms (3.98 %). A plasmid-encoded blaNDM-1Acinetobacter sp. with the resistance mechanisms of antibiotic efflux pump, antibiotic target change and antibiotic degradation was isolated from the wastewater of a typical tertiary hospital. Insertion sequences (IS3 and IS30) located in the adjacent 5 kbp of blaNDM-1-bleMBL gene cluster indicating the transposon-mediated horizontal gene transfer risk. These results showed that the worldwide spread of blaNDM-1-carrying bacteria and its potential horizontal gene transfer risk deserve good control.

The disparity between growth substrates and application-specific substrates can be mediated by reliable graphene transfer, the lack of which currently strongly hinders the graphene applications. Conventionally, the removal of soft polymers, that support the graphene during the transfer, would contaminate graphene surface, produce cracks, and leave unprotected graphene surface sensitive to airborne contaminations. In this work, it is found that polyacrylonitrile (PAN) can function as polymer medium for transferring wafer-size graphene, and encapsulating layer to deliver high-performance graphene devices. Therefore, PAN, that is compatible with device fabrication, does not need to be removed for subsequent applications. The crack-free transfer of 4 in. graphene onto SiO2/Si wafers, and the wafer-scale fabrication of graphene-based field-effect transistor arrays with no observed clear doping, uniformly high carrier mobility (≈11 000 cm2 V-1 s-1), and long-term stability at room temperature, are achieved. This work presents new concept for designing the transfer process of 2D materials, in which multifunctional polymer can be retained, and offers a reliable method for fabricating wafer-scale devices of 2D materials with outstanding performance.

Recent years have witnessed advances in chemical vapor deposition growth of graphene films on metal foils with fine scalability and thickness controllability. However, challenges for obtaining wrinkle-free, defect-free and large-area uniformity remain to be tackled. In addition, the real commercial applications of graphene films still require industrially compatible transfer techniques with reliable performance of transferred graphene, excellent production capacity, and suitable cost. Transferred graphene films, particularly with a large area, still suffer from the presence of transfer-related cracks, wrinkles and contaminants, which would strongly deteriorate the quality and uniformity of transferred graphene films. Potential applications of graphene films include moisture barrier films, transparent conductive films, electromagnetic shielding films, and optical communications; such applications call different requirements for the performance of transferred graphene, which, in turn, determine the suitable transfer techniques. Besides the reliable transfer process, automatic machines should be well developed for the future batch transfer of graphene films, ensuring the repeatability and scalability. This mini-review provides a summary of recent advances in the transfer of graphene films and offers a perspective for future directions of transfer techniques that are compatible for industrial batch transfer.

Fucoxanthin, a carotenoid exclusively derived from algae, exerts its bioactivities with the modulation of the gut microbiota in mice. However, mechanisms through which fucoxanthin regulates the gut microbiota and its derived metabolites/metabolism in humans remain unclear. In this study, we investigated the effects of fucoxanthin on the gut microbiota and metabolism of non-obese individuals using an in vitro simulated digestion-fermentation cascade model. The results showed that about half of the fucoxanthin was not absorbed in the intestine, thus reaching the colon. The gut microbiota from fecal samples underwent significant changes after 48 or 72 hours in vitro fermentation. Specifically, fucoxanthin significantly enhanced the relative abundance of Bacteroidota and Parabacteroides, leading to improved functions of the gut microbiota in its development, glycan biosynthesis and metabolism as well as in improving the digestive system, endocrine system and immune system. The recovery of fucoxanthin during fermentation showed a decreasing trend with the slight bio-conversion of fucoxanthinol. Notably, fucoxanthin supplementation significantly altered metabolites, especially bile acids and indoles in the simulated human gut ecosystem. Correlation analysis indicated the involvement of the gut microbiota in the manipulation of these metabolites by fucoxanthin. Moreover, all these altered metabolites revealed the improvement in the capacity of fucoxanthin in manipulating gut metabolism, especially lipid metabolism. Overall, fucoxanthin determinedly reshaped the gut microbiota and metabolism, implying its potential health benefits in non-obese individuals.

Perovskite LEDs (PeLEDs) have emerged as a next-generation light-emitting technology. Recent breakthroughs were made in achieving highly stable near-infrared and green PeLEDs. However, the operational lifetimes (T50) of visible PeLEDs under high current densities (>10 mA cm-2) remain unsatisfactory (normally <100 h), limiting the possibilities in solid-state lighting and AR/VR applications. This problem becomes more pronounced for mixed-halide (e.g., red and blue) perovskite emitters in which critical challenges such as halide segregation and spectral instability are present. Here, we demonstrate bright and stable red PeLEDs based on mixed-halide perovskites, showing measured T50 lifetimes of up to ∼357 h at currents of ≥25 mA cm-2, a record for the operational stability of visible PeLEDs under high current densities. The devices produce intense and stable emission with a maximum luminance of 28,870 cd m-2 (radiance: 1584 W sr-1 m-2), which is record-high for red PeLEDs. Key to this demonstration is the introduction of sulfonamide, a dipolar molecular stabilizer that effectively interacts with the ionic species in the perovskite emitters. It suppresses halide segregation and migration into the charge-transport layers, resulting in enhanced stability and brightness of the mixed-halide PeLEDs. These results represent a substantial step toward bright and stable PeLEDs for emerging applications.

The real applications of chemical vapor deposition (CVD)-grown graphene films require the reliable techniques for transferring graphene from growth substrates onto application-specific substrates. The transfer approaches that avoid the use of organic solvents, etchants, and strong bases are compatible with industrial batch processing, in which graphene transfer should be conducted by dry exfoliation and lamination. However, all-dry transfer of graphene remains unachievable owing to the difficulty in precisely controlling interfacial adhesion to enable the crack- and contamination-free transfer. Herein, through controllable crosslinking of transfer medium polymer, the adhesion is successfully tuned between the polymer and graphene for all-dry transfer of graphene wafers. Stronger adhesion enables crack-free peeling of the graphene from growth substrates, while reduced adhesion facilitates the exfoliation of polymer from graphene surface leaving an ultraclean surface. This work provides an industrially compatible approach for transferring 2D materials, key for their future applications, and offers a route for tuning the interfacial adhesion that would allow for the transfer-enabled fabrication of van der Waals heterostructures.

Neurodegenerative diseases associated with aging are often accompanied by cognitive decline and gut microbiota disorder. But the impact of gut microbiota on these cognitive disturbances remains incompletely understood. Short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) are major metabolites produced by gut microbiota during the digestion of dietary fiber, serving as an energy source for gut epithelial cells and/or circulating to other organs, such as the liver and brain, through the bloodstream. SCFAs have been shown to cross the blood-brain barrier and played crucial roles in brain metabolism, with potential implications in mediating Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Parkinson's disease (PD). However, the underlying mechanisms that SCFAs might influence psychological functioning, including affective and cognitive processes and their neural basis, have not been fully elucidated. Furthermore, the dietary sources which determine these SCFAs production was not thoroughly evaluated yet. This comprehensive review explores the production of SCFAs by gut microbiota, their transportation through the gut-brain axis, and the potential mechanisms by which they influence age-related neurodegenerative disorders. Also, the review discusses the importance of dietary fiber sources and the challenges associated with harnessing dietary-derived SCFAs as promoters of neurological health in elderly individuals. Overall, this study suggests that gut microbiota-derived SCFAs and/or dietary fibers hold promise as potential targets and strategies for addressing age-related neurodegenerative disorders.

Brassinolide (BR) is an important plant hormone that regulates the growth and development of plants and the formation of yield. The yield and quality of latex from Hevea brasiliensis are regulated by phytohormones. The understanding of gene network regulation mechanism of latex formation in rubber trees is still very limited. In this research, the rubber tree variety CATAS73397 was selected to analyze the relationship between BR, water deficit resistance, and latex yield. The results showed that BR improves the vitality of rubber trees under water deficit by increasing the rate of photosynthesis, reducing the seepage of osmotic regulatory substances, increasing the synthesis of energy substances, and improving the antioxidant system. Furthermore, BR increased the yield and quality of latex by reducing the plugging index and elevating the lutoid bursting index without decreasing mercaptan, sucrose, and inorganic phosphorus. This was confirmed by an increased expression of genes related to latex flow. RNA-seq analysis further indicated that DEG encoded proteins were enriched in the MAPK signaling pathway, plant hormone signal transduction and sucrose metabolism. Phytohormone content displayed significant differences, in that trans-Zeatin, ethylene, salicylic acid, kinetin, and cytokinin were induced by BR, whereas auxin, abscisic acid, and gibberellin were not. In summary, the current research lays a foundation for comprehending the molecular mechanism of latex formation in rubber trees and explores the potential candidate genes involved in natural rubber biosynthesis to provide useful information for further research in relevant areas.

To explore the application value of early standardized management in the delivery of neonates of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Parturient diagnosed with GDM and their offspring were selected in our hospital from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2017 to underwent early standardized management. Non-GDM pregnant women and their offspring were selected as the control group. The growth and development of children aged 0-5 years in the two groups were longitudinally followed up, and the mixed linear model was used to evaluate and compare the growth trajectories. There was no significant difference in height and weight between the two groups at 1 year old (P > 0.05), but the BMI of the GDM group was significantly higher than that in the control group. After 1 year of age, both groups of offspring were similar in height, weight, and BMI, and these similarities persisted at 2, 3, 4, and 5 years of age. After controlling for covariates, the weight, length/height of the two groups of children were slightly different in the growth trajectories between 0-1 years old, 1-2 years old, 2-3 years old, 3-4 years old, and 4-5 years old with no statistical significance (P > 0.05). Although growth differences between the two groups of children were detected within 1 year of age, there were no significant differences in growth trajectories from 1 to 5 years between two groups, which proved that early standardized management has positive significance.

Nowadays, the soar of photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells has set off a fever in the study of metal halide perovskite materials. The excellent optoelectronic properties and defect tolerance feature allow metal halide perovskite to be employed in a wide variety of applications. This article provides a holistic review over the current progress and future prospects of metal halide perovskite materials in representative promising applications, including traditional optoelectronic devices (solar cells, light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, lasers), and cutting-edge technologies in terms of neuromorphic devices (artificial synapses and memristors) and pressure-induced emission. This review highlights the fundamentals, the current progress and the remaining challenges for each application, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview of the development status and a navigation of future research for metal halide perovskite materials and devices.

BACKGROUND: Long screen time has become a public health problem that cannot be ignored. The association between screen time and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in preschool children has received widespread attention. METHODS: A questionnaire was used to survey 2452 people. ADHD symptoms were assessed by the Conners Child Behavior Scale. Considering that the ADHD symptoms of boys and girls might be different, we stratified the data by gender. Logistic regression model was used for regression analysis. To exclude the influence of multichild family and obesity level, we also conducted a sensitivity analysis. P values were two-tailed with a significance level at 0.05. RESULTS: The results showed that the association between screen time and ADHD symptoms in preschool children was significant (OR = 1.826, 95%CI: 1.032, 3.232). After grouping the genders, the correlation was not significant. There was an association between screen time and ADHD symptoms in children from families with multiple children. However, after excluding overweight and obese children from the overall population, the association between screen time and ADHD symptoms did not have statistical significance. CONCLUSIONS: The issue of screen time for preschoolers needs to be taken seriously. Although the results indicate a significant correlation between screen time and ADHD symptoms, clearer evidence is needed to provide recommendations to policy makers.

Brassinosteroids (BRs) are important for plant growth and development, with BRI1 and BAK1 kinases playing an important role in BR signal transduction. Latex from rubber trees is crucial for industry, medicine and defense use. Therefore, it is beneficial to characterize and analyze HbBRI1 and HbBAK1 genes to improve the quality of the resources obtained from Hevea brasiliensis (rubber tree). Based on bioinformatics predictions and rubber tree database, five HbBRI1s with four HbBAK1s were identified and named HbBRI1~HbBRL3 and HbBAK1a~HbBAK1d, respectively, which were clustered in two groups. HbBRI1 genes, except for HbBRL3, exclusively contain introns, which is convenient for responding to external factors, whereas HbBAK1b/c/d contain 10 introns and 11 exons, and HbBAK1a contains eight introns. Multiple sequence analysis showed that HbBRI1s include typical domains of the BRI1 kinase, indicating that HbBRI1s belong to BRI1. HbBAK1s that possess LRR and STK_BAK1_like domains illustrate that HbBAK1s belong to the BAK1 kinase. BRI1 and BAK1 play an important role in regulating plant hormone signal transduction. Analysis of the cis-element of all HbBRI1 and HbBAK1 genes identified hormone response, light regulation and abiotic stress elements in the promoters of HbBRI1s and HbBAK1s. The results of tissue expression patterns indicate that HbBRL1/2/3/4 and HbBAK1a/b/c are highly expressed in the flower, especially HbBRL2-1. The expression of HbBRL3 is extremely high in the stem, and the expression of HbBAK1d is extremely high in the root. Expression profiles with different hormones show that HbBRI1 and HbBAK1 genes are extremely induced by different hormone stimulates. These results provide theoretical foundations for further research on the functions of BR receptors, especially in response to hormone signals in the rubber tree.

The RIIß subunit of  cAMP-dependent protein kinase A (PKA) is expressed in the brain and adipose tissue. RIIß-knockout mice show leanness and increased UCP1 in brown adipose tissue. The authors have previously reported that RIIß reexpression in hypothalamic GABAergic neurons rescues the leanness. However, whether white adipose tissue (WAT) browning contributes to the leanness and whether RIIß-PKA in these neurons governs WAT browning are unknown. Here, this work reports that RIIß-KO mice exhibit a robust WAT browning. RIIß reexpression in dorsal median hypothalamic GABAergic neurons (DMH GABAergic neurons) abrogates WAT browning. Single-cell sequencing, transcriptome sequencing, and electrophysiological studies show increased GABAergic activity in DMH GABAergic neurons of RIIß-KO mice. Activation of DMH GABAergic neurons or inhibition of PKA in these neurons elicits WAT browning and thus lowers body weight. These findings reveal that RIIß-PKA in DMH GABAergic neurons regulates WAT browning. Targeting RIIß-PKA in DMH GABAergic neurons may offer a clinically useful way to promote WAT browning for treating obesity and other metabolic disorders.

BACKGROUND: The literature has discussed the relationship between environmental factors and depressive disorders; however, the results are inconsistent in different studies and regions, as are the interaction effects between environmental factors. We hypothesized that meteorological factors and ambient air pollution individually affect and interact to affect depressive disorder morbidity. AIM: To investigate the effects of meteorological factors and air pollution on depressive disorders, including their lagged effects and interactions. METHODS: The samples were obtained from a class 3 hospital in Harbin, China. Daily hospital admission data for depressive disorders from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2022 were obtained. Meteorological and air pollution data were also collected during the same period. Generalized additive models with quasi-Poisson regression were used for time-series modeling to measure the non-linear and delayed effects of environmental factors. We further incorporated each pair of environmental factors into a bivariate response surface model to examine the interaction effects on hospital admissions for depressive disorders. RESULTS: Data for 2922 d were included in the study, with no missing values. The total number of depressive admissions was 83905. Medium to high correlations existed between environmental factors. Air temperature (AT) and wind speed (WS) significantly affected the number of admissions for depression. An extremely low temperature (-29.0 ℃) at lag 0 caused a 53% [relative risk (RR)= 1.53, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.23-1.89] increase in daily hospital admissions relative to the median temperature. Extremely low WSs (0.4 m/s) at lag 7 increased the number of admissions by 58% (RR = 1.58, 95%CI: 1.07-2.31). In contrast, atmospheric pressure and relative humidity had smaller effects. Among the six air pollutants considered in the time-series model, nitrogen dioxide (NO2) was the only pollutant that showed significant effects over non-cumulative, cumulative, immediate, and lagged conditions. The cumulative effect of NO2 at lag 7 was 0.47% (RR = 1.0047, 95%CI: 1.0024-1.0071). Interaction effects were found between AT and the five air pollutants, atmospheric temperature and the four air pollutants, WS and sulfur dioxide. CONCLUSION: Meteorological factors and the air pollutant NO2 affect daily hospital admissions for depressive disorders, and interactions exist between meteorological factors and ambient air pollution.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the occurrence and the influencing factors of post-stroke depression (PSD) in first-episode stroke. METHODS: A total of 350 elderly stroke patients who were admitted to Wuxi Central Rehabilitation Hospital for the first time from January 2020 to December 2020 were enrolled in this study. The Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) was used to evaluate the depression status of stroke patients. The sociodemographic data, clinical symptoms, social environment and behavioral patterns of the patients were collected to analyze the related factors of depression after stroke through SPSS 20.0 software. RESULTS: The incidence of PSD was 45.71%. There were statistical differences among different gender, lesion nature, lesion location, smoking, hypertension, diabetes, hospitalization enpenses, season of onset, BMI index, NIHSS score, barthel index score, blood pressure variation coefficient and other factors (p = 0.000). Post-stroke depression score was positively correlated with NIHSS score and coefficient of variation of systolic blood pressure (r = 0.935, p = 0.000; r = 0.921, p = 0.000), and negatively correlated with barthel index score (r = -0.964, p = 0.000). Through multivariate Logistic regression analysis, it was found that male (OR=8.624, 95%CI: 5.672-11.715), cerebral infarction (OR=2.561, 95%CI: 1.256-3.567), and the right side lesion (OR=1.933, 95%CI: 1.024-3.026), smoking (OR=2.457, 95%CI: 1.611-3.625), onset in autumn and winter (OR=2.049, 95%CI: 1.201-2.919), high BMI (OR=2.461, 95%CI): 1.426-3.432) were risk factors for depression after stroke, and low SBPV (OR=0.567, 95%CI: 0.352-0.758) and low NISHH score (OR=0.256, 95%CI: 0.105-0.486) were the protective factor for subsequent depression of stroke. CONCLUSION: Males, smoking, patients with onset in autumn and winter, lesions on the right side, high BMI, high NISHH score and high systolic blood pressure variation were closely related to PSD, which should be paid for attention for such patients to prevent the occurrence of PSD and take intervention measures.

How do humans excel at tracking the narrative of a particular speaker with a distracting noisy background? This feat places great demands on the collaboration between speech processing and goal-related regulatory functions. Here, we propose that separate subsystems with different cross-task dynamic activity properties and distinct functional purposes support goal-directed speech listening. We adopted a naturalistic dichotic speech listening paradigm in which listeners were instructed to attend to only one narrative from two competing inputs. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging with inter- and intra-subject correlation techniques, we discovered a dissociation in response consistency in temporal, parietal and frontal brain areas as the task demand varied. Specifically, some areas in the bilateral temporal cortex (SomMotB_Aud and TempPar) and lateral prefrontal cortex (DefaultB_PFCl and ContA_PFCl) always showed consistent activation across subjects and across scan runs, regardless of the task demand. In contrast, some areas in the parietal cortex (DefaultA_pCunPCC and ContC_pCun) responded reliably only when the task goal remained the same. These results suggested two dissociated functional neural networks that were independently validated by performing a data-driven clustering analysis of voxelwise functional connectivity patterns. A subsequent meta-analysis revealed distinct functional profiles for these two brain correlation maps. The different-task correlation map was strongly associated with language-related processes (e.g., listening, speech and sentences), whereas the same-task versus different-task correlation map was linked to self-referencing functions (e.g., default mode, theory of mind and autobiographical topics). Altogether, the three-pronged findings revealed two anatomically and functionally dissociated subsystems supporting goal-directed speech listening.

Carbonation seriously deteriorates the durability of existing reinforced concrete structures. In this study, a thermodynamic model is used to investigate the carbonation reactions in cement-based materials. The effects of the concentration and amounts of CO2 on the carbonation behaviors of mortar are discussed. The simulation results show that the mechanisms of the carbonation reaction of cement-based materials at different CO2 concentrations may be different. Nearly all of the hydrate phases have a corresponding CO2 concentration threshold, above which the corresponding carbonation reaction can be triggered. The thresholds of the C-S-H phases with different Ca/Si ratios are different. The calculation results also show that the phase assemblages in cement paste after being completely air-carbonated, primarily consist of a low-Ca/Si ratio C-S-H, strätlingite, CaCO3 and CaSO4. The pH of the pore solution exhibits a significant decrease when a higher Ca/Si ratio C-S-H phase is completely decalcified into a lower Ca/Si ratio C-S-H phase, by increasing the CO2 uptake. Additionally, the experimental results and the previously published investigations are used to validate the simulation results.

For a light-emitting diode (LED) to generate light, the minimum voltage required is widely considered to be the emitter's bandgap divided by the elementary charge. Here we show for many classes of LEDs, including those based on perovskite, organic, quantum-dot and III-V semiconductors, light emission can be observed at record-low voltages of 36-60% of their bandgaps, exhibiting a large apparent energy gain of 0.6-1.4 eV per photon. For 17 types of LEDs with different modes of charge injection and recombination (dark saturation currents of ~10-39-10-15 mA cm-2), their emission intensity-voltage curves under low voltages show similar behaviours. These observations and their consistency with the diode simulations suggest the ultralow-voltage electroluminescence arises from a universal origin-the radiative recombination of non-thermal-equilibrium band-edge carriers whose populations are determined by the Fermi-Dirac function perturbed by a small external bias. These results indicate the potential of low-voltage LEDs for communications, computational and energy applications.

INTRODUCTION: The object recognition system involves both selectivity to specific object category and invariance to changes in low-level visual features. Mounting neuroimaging evidence supports that brain areas in the ventral temporal cortex, such as the FFA and PPA, respond preferentially to faces and houses, respectively. However, how regions in human ventral temporal cortex partitioned and functionally organized to selectively and invariantly respond to different object categories remains unclear. What are the changes of response properties at the intersection of adjacent but distinctively-selective regions? METHOD: Here, we conducted an fMRI study and three-pronged analyses to compare the brain mapping relationships between the FFA to faces and the PPA to houses. Specifically, we examined: 1) the response properties of object selectivity to the preferred category; 2) the response properties of invariance to contrast and a concurrently presented non-preferred category; 3) whether there are asymmetrical changes of response properties across the boundary from the FFA to PPA versus from the PPA to FFA. RESULTS: We found that the response properties of FFA are highly selective and reliably invariant, whereas the responses of PPA vary with the image contrast and concurrently presented face. Moreover, the response properties across the boundary between the FFA and PPA are asymmetrical from face-selective to house-selective relative to from house-selective to face-selective. CONCLUSIONS: These results convergently revealed distinct response properties between the FFA to faces and the PPA to houses, implying a combination of spatially discrete domain-specific and relatively distributed domain-general organization mapping in human ventral temporal cortex.

Introduction: The current field of research on the impact of COVID-19 on mental health was mostly limited to the evaluation of the first round of the epidemic, few reports focused on the impact of the re-emergence of COVID-19. This study aimed to investigate the mental health literacy and status of residents during the re-outbreak of COVID-19 in China. Methods: The basic information sheet, health literacy survey scale, physical health questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), generalized anxiety disorder-7 (GAD-7), insomnia severity index (ISI), and Alzheimer dementia 8 (AD8) were applied to evaluate the mental health literacy, mental health status and elderly cognitive function, and χ2 test was applied for analysis of the difference between different groups. Results: A total of 2,306 participants were involved in this study, of which 734 people completed the mental health literacy survey. The qualified rate of mental health literacy was 6.4%. The difference is statistically significant. A total of 1,015 people completed the survey of mental health status, the prevalence of depressive symptoms was 8.87%, the monthly income of different families (χ2 = 13.96, P = 0.01), the self-assessed health status (χ2 = 128.56, P < 0.05), the presence or absence of chronic diseases (χ2 = 4.78, P = 0.03), among all which the difference was statistically significant; the prevalence of anxiety symptoms was 3.84%, different regions (χ2 = 12.26, P < 0.05), occupations (χ2 = 11.65, P < 0.05), household monthly income (χ2 = 12.65, P = 0.01), self-rated health status (χ2 = 151.11, P < 0.05), and chronic diseases (χ2 = 7.77, P = 0.01), among all which the differences were statistically significant. The prevalence of insomnia symptoms was 7.98%, different age (χ2 = 18.45, P < 0.05), region (χ2 = 5.11, P = 0.02), monthly household income (χ2 = 12.68 P = 0.01), and self-assessed health status (χ2 = 91.71, P < 0.05), in which there was a statistically significant difference between those with or without chronic diseases (χ2 = 3 3.25, P < 0.05). A total of 557 elderly people over 65 years old completed the cognitive dysfunction screening, in which the prevalence of cognitive dysfunction was 17.41%, and the difference was statistically significant at the different self-assessed health status (χ2 = 96.24, P < 0.05) and with or without chronic diseases (χ2 = 107.09, P < 0.05). Conclusion: The mental health literacy and status of residents have not improved significantly during the second outbreak of the epidemic, indicating that under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, more attention should be paid to the mental health of residents, and targeted health education and psychological intervention should be carried out to avoid relative adverse events.
