RESUMO
In this study, we report for the first time HLA allele and haplotype frequencies in the modern Panamanian population at a two-field (four digits) resolution level. Reported frequencies were calculated from genotype data for the HLA-A, -B, -C, -DPB1, -DQB1 and -DRB1 loci of 462 healthy unrelated Panamanian adults of Hispanic ethnicity. In addition to providing new insights on the allelic structure of the Panamanian population and its origin, these data are critical for better planning of healthcare strategies in the country and for future research exploring the association with certain chronic and infectious diseases.

Objetivo: Determinar la calidad de atención del parto según la percepción de las usuarias en el servicio del Centro Obstétrico en el INMP. Materiales y métodos: estudio observacional, descriptivo, corte transversal. Se aplicó un cuestionario tipo SERVPERF modificado a las puérperas inmediatas atendidas en el servicio de centro obstétrico del Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal durante los meses de Enero y Febrero del 2015. Resultados: Se estudió 313 puérperas inmediatas. El 29,7 por ciento se encontraba entre los 25-29 años de edad y el 20,8 por ciento eran menores de 20 años. El 75,7 por ciento eran convivientes y el 59,1 por ciento había terminado la secundaria. El 69,6 por ciento se dedicaba a su casa, además el 46,3 por ciento eran primigestas. Las preguntas más valoradas fueron acerca del acompañamiento de la pareja o familiar durante el parto, el permitir acariciar al recién nacido inmediatamente nace, y el confort. Todas las dimensiones correspondieron a un grado de satisfacción, siendo la menos valorada la dimensión de respuesta rápida y la más valorada la dimensión de tangibles. La satisfacción global de las pacientes fue del 93,3 por ciento. Conclusiones: Las usuarias atendidas en servicio de centro obstétrico del INMP.
Objective: To determine the quality of care as perceived by users in the Service of Obstetric Center of the INMP. Materials and methods: Observational, descriptive and transversal study. We apply a modified SERVPERF type questionnaire to immediate postpartum women attended in the obstetric center of the National Institute of Maternal and Perinatal during the months of January and February of 2015. Results: We studied 313 immediate postpartum. 29.7 per cent were between 25-29 years of age and 20.8 per cent were under 20 years. 75.7 per cent were cohabiting and 59.1 per cent had completed high school. 69.6 per cent were housewives, and 46.3 per cent hasnt had a previous delivery. The most valuable questions were about accompaniment to the couple or family during labor, allow caress her newborn immediately born, and comfort. All dimensions corresponded to satisfaction, being the least valued dimension of rapid response and the most valued dimension of tangible. The patient satisfaction was 93.3 per cent. Conclusions: The users attended in the obstetrics center of the INMP perceive their attention with a grade of satisfaction.
