RESUMO

Cinobufagin has inhibitory effects on various tumors, but there are few studies on gynecological tumors. This study explored the function and molecular mechanism of cinobufagin in endometrial cancer (EC). Different concentrations of cinobufagin treated EC cells (Ishikawa and HEC-1). Clone formation, methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT), flow cytometry, and transwell assays were used to detect malignant behaviors. A Western blot assay was performed to detect protein expression. Cinobufacini was sensitive to the inhibition of EC cell proliferation in a time- and concentration-dependent manner. Meanwhile, EC cell apoptosis was induced by cinobufacini. In addition, cinobufacini impaired the invasive and migratory abilities of EC cells. More importantly, cinobufacini blocked the nuclear factor kappa beta (NF-κB) pathway in EC by inhibiting p-IkBα and p-p65 expression. Cinobufacini suppresses malignant behaviors of EC by blocking the NF-κB pathway.

RESUMO

Objective: To analyze the effect of an intelligent medical management platform combined with perioperative detailed nursing on cognitive ability, postoperative complications, and quality of life (QOL) of patients undergoing hysterectomy. Methods: The clinical data of 76 patients undergoing hysterectomy in our hospital from December 2019 to December 2021 were selected for the retrospective analysis, and the patients were divided into the experimental group (EG, n = 38, intelligent medical management platform+perioperative detailed nursing) and the routine group (RG, n = 38, routine nursing) according to their admission order, and the cognition of disease and QOL after intervention of patients in the two groups were evaluated by the self-proposed questionnaire on cognition of disease of our hospital and the MOS 36-item short-form health survey (SF-36). Results: After intervention, the scores on cognitive ability, various nursing items, and QOL were significantly higher in EG than in RG (P < 0.001), and during the study, the total incidence rate of complications was significantly lower in EG than in RG (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Combining an intelligent medical management platform with perioperative detailed nursing is a reliable method to improve QOL and reduce postoperative complications for patients undergoing hysterectomy. Further research will be conducive to providing a reliable perioperative intervention scheme for such patients.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Nursing project management is widely used in different aspects of the society. However, whether the nursing project management can control the infections in the operation room (OR) is rarely reported. We evaluated the outcomes of surgical patients after implementing a nursing project management program to provide new scientific ways to manage the OR infections. METHODS: Overall, 382 patients, who underwent surgical treatment in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Shandong, China from May 2015 to January 2016, were enrolled as observation group. Besides, 347 cases were selected as control group. Patients in the observation group were treated with the nursing project management plan, while patients in the control group were treated with the routine operation-room nursing measures. The infection control rates in the OR, and the patient satisfaction with the nursing team postoperatively were both compared between the two groups of patients. RESULTS: The OR air, the surgical and personnel's hands surfaces were sampled for colony forming units, and all were found to be significantly of better quality (indicated by less colony forming units) in the observation group (P<0.001). In addition, there were 3 cases (0.79%) of post-operation infections in the observation group, while 12 cases (3.46%) occurred in the control group. The overall infection rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P = 0.011); and the satisfaction of patients with the nursing team in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the patients in the control group (P = 0.001). CONCLUSION: It is worth popularizing and applying a good nursing project management plan for surgical patients in hospitals.
