RESUMO

As an important method to further improve the storage density of resistive memory, multistage resistive switching devices have become an important research direction. However, no stable and controllable multistage resistive switching device has been prepared, and the working mechanism is still unclear. Here, a sandwich-structured device is simply prepared by spin coating, with the work layer is the Bi2FeCrO6 thin film. The device can realize bidirectional controllable multistage resistive switching behavior, the biggest on/off ratio is 104, and it can maintain stability without attenuation at 100 times slow loop and 104 times pulse cycle. The analyzes showed that the charged ions formed by defects in the device migrated under the action of an external electric field lead to the Schottky barrier height reversible changed. Which is the key to cause multistage resistive switching behavior. This work is the first report about the voltage control of bidirectional adjustable multistage resistive switching behavior in the Bi2FeCrO6 thin film. The principle of generation is analyzed, and important ideas and insights are provided for the preparation and treatment of related multistage resistive problems.

RESUMO

Activation of inflammatory responses regulates the transmission of pain pathways through an integrated network in the peripheral and central nervous systems. The immunopotentiator thymosin alpha-1 (Tα1) has recently been reported to have anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective functions in rodents. However, how Tα1 affects inflammatory pain remains unclear. In the present study, intraperitoneal injection of Tα1 attenuated complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA)-induced pain hypersensitivity, and decreased the up-regulation of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6) in inflamed skin and the spinal cord. We found that CFA-induced peripheral inflammation evoked strong microglial activation, but the effect was reversed by Tα1. Notably, Tα1 reversed the CFA-induced up-regulation of vesicular glutamate transporter (VGLUT) and down-regulated the vesicular γ-aminobutyric acid transporter (VGAT) in the spinal cord. Taken together, these results suggest that Tα1 plays a therapeutic role in inflammatory pain and in the modulation of microglia-induced pro-inflammatory cytokine production in addition to mediation of VGLUT and VGAT expression in the spinal cord.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the prediction efficiency of multilayer perception (MLP) model in prediction of diabetes mellitus (DM) complicated with coronary heart disease (CHD) by TCM personality and constitutions; To provide a new method for objective prediction. Methods This research utilized single factor logistic regression to filter out variables, which were significant factors of TCM personality and constitutions as analytic variables for MLP and multivariate logistic regression to establish TCM prediction model of personality and constitutions for DM complicated with CHD. The prediction efficiency of the above models were tested by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve). Results The sensitivity, specificity and AUC of MLP were 0.915 (0.862, 0.968), 0.846 (0.793, 0.912) and 0.913 (0.806, 0.987) respectively, which was better than the logistic regression, while these indexes of logistic regression were 0.834 (0.695, 0.953), 0.762 (0.623, 0.901), and 0.869 (0.730, 0.941) respectively. Conclusion The MLP model is better than logistic regression model in prediction of DM complicated with CHD by TCM personality and constitutions.

RESUMO

ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Geniposide is derived from Gardenia jasminoides Ellis (Rubiaceae). Its anti-inflammatory, antithrombotic effects as well as its preventive effect against ischemic stroke have been reported. Radix notoginseng (Chinese name tienchi or sanqi) is the dried root of Panax notoginseng (Burk.) F.H. Chen, an herb noted for its promotion of blood circulation, blood stasis removal and pain alleviation, and has been widely utilized for the prevention and treatment of microcirculatory disturbances in China and other Asian countries for many years. Notoginsenoside R1 is an effective and structurally representative bioactive constituent of R. notoginseng. In our preliminary study, notoginsenoside R1 was able significantly to improve the bioavailability of geniposide in beagle dogs, but the underlying mechanisms remain unknown. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The present study aimed to investigate the intestinal kinetic absorptive characteristics of geniposide as well as the absorptive behavior influenced by the co-administration of notoginsenoside R1 using an in vitro everted rat gut sac model. RESULTS: The results showed good linear correlation between the geniposide absorption in sac contents and the incubation time from 0 to 120 min. The concentration dependence showed a non-linear correlation between the geniposide absorption and the concentrations 0.356-1.424 mg/mL, the absorption was saturated about 1.424 mg/mL. Notoginsenoside R1 at 0.1 and 0.2mg/mL concentrations was able significantly to enhance the absorption of geniposide (1.424 mg/mL) by 1.7- and 1.4-fold. Moreover, verapamil, a well-known P-glycoprotein inhibitor, was able significantly to elevate the absorption of geniposide 2.4-fold. Notoginsenoside R1 influenced geniposide's absorption in a way similar to that of a P-glycoprotein inhibitor. CONCLUSIONS: In conclusion, notoginsenoside R1 significantly enhances the intestinal absorption of geniposide. As for the mechanism underlying the improvement of geniposide's bioavailability, it is proposed that notoginsenoside R1 was able to decrease the efflux transport of geniposide by P-glycoproteins.

RESUMO

Objective To compare the effect of injection with botulinum toxin type A (BTX-A) before serial casting with BTX-A injection alone for the treatment of spastic equinus in children with cerebral palsy (CP).Methods Sixty patients were divided into an experimental group and a control group with 30 patients in each. Those io the experimental group received a BTX-A injection followed by serial casting, while the controls received BTX-A only. Before treatment and 1 month,3 months and 6 months after treatment, the dorsiflexion range of motion (ROM)of the ankle recorded while the knee in flexion and extension were measured, and gait was evaluated with an observational gait scale. Results Before treatment there was no significant inter-group difference in any of the 3 outcome measures. At 1 montb,3 months and 6 months after treatment, there were significant inter-group differences in all 3 measures, and also significant differences compared with before treatment in both groups. Conclusion Lower muscle tone, greater ankle mobility and better gait patterns can be promoted in CP children with spastic equinus using serial casting combined with BTX-A injection. The improvements may last longer than those after BTX-A injection alone.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE To study the effect of Qing Yi Tang on acute pancreatitis(AP),especially AP complicated with endotoxemia and its possible mechanism.METHODS Fourty Wistar rats were divided into 5 groups including group A(the control group),group B(the AP group),group C(the AP group treated with Qing Yi Tang),group D(the AP group treated with LPS) and group E(the AP group treated with LPS + Qing Yi Tang).Pathological damage of pancreatic tissue was scored with HE staining. The mRNA expression of TNF-? was measured with semi-quantitative RT-PCR,and activation of NF-?B was detected with flow cytometry(FCM) assay.RESULTS It was shown in results that the expression of TNF-? mRNA,activation of NF-?B and pathological damage of the group B were all obviously higher than those of the group A.After treated with LPS which might promote the activation of NF-?B,there was seen the further rise of the activation of NF-?B,expression of TNF-? mRNA and pathological damage. When Qing Yi Tang intervention was applied, the activation of NF-?B and the expression of TNF-? mRNA could be remarkably relieved,so did the pathological damage of pancreas.CONCLUSIONS Qing Yi Tang may be applied to decrease activation of NF-?B and the expression of TNF-? so as to treat AP or AP with endotoxemia.
