RESUMO

Named entity recognition is a fundamental subtask for knowledge graph construction and question-answering in the agricultural diseases and pests field. Although several works have been done, the scarcity of the Chinese annotated dataset has restricted the development of agricultural diseases and pests named entity recognition(ADP-NER). To address the issues, a large-scale corpus for the Chinese ADP-NER task named AgCNER was first annotated. It mainly contains 13 categories, 206,992 entities, and 66,553 samples with 3,909,293 characters. Compared with other datasets, AgCNER maintains the best performance in terms of the number of categories, entities, samples, and characters. Moreover, this is the first publicly available corpus for the agricultural field. In addition, the agricultural language model AgBERT is also fine-tuned and released. Finally, the comprehensive experimental results showed that BiLSTM-CRF achieved F1-score of 93.58%, which would be further improved to 94.14% using BERT. The analysis from multiple aspects has verified the rationality of AgCNER and the effectiveness of AgBERT. The annotated corpus and fine-tuned language model are publicly available at https://doi.org/XXX and https://github.com/guojson/AgCNER.git .

RESUMO

The efficiency and stability of solar cells are two key indicators that determine for the commercial feasibility of photovoltaic devices. Formamidine-cesium perovskite has been extensively investigated since its excellent thermal stability and has great potential in achieving high power conversion efficiency. However, during the aging process, especially under light conditions, formamidine-rich perovskites are prone to produce iodine, and the escape of iodine is one of the important factors leading to device degradation. Here, DL-Serine Hydrazide Hydrochloride containing the reducing group is introduced into the precursor solution of formamidine-cesium perovskite, which achieves multiple-site passivation. Hydrazine reacts with iodine to reduce it to iodine ions, inhibiting the escape of iodine. In addition, carbonyl groups and uncoordinated lead ions form coordination bonds to reduce defects. In the end, the perovskite solar cell with DL-Serine Hydrazide Hydrochloride added achieves a champion efficiency of 22.22%, and maintains 85.88% of the initial efficiency after continuous exposure under 1 sun for 7000 s at a relative humidity of ≈40%. Additionally, DL-Serine Hydrazide Hydrochloride added device shows good stability in air environments with relative humidity of 50%-60%. DL-Serine Hydrazide Hydrochloride improves the stability of formamidine-rich perovskite solar cells and provides a low-cost strategy for commercial development.

RESUMO

The Cs3Bi2I9 single crystal, as an all-inorganic non-lead perovskite, offers advantages such as stability and environmental friendliness. Its superior photoelectric properties, attributed to the absence of grain boundary influence, make it an outstanding X-ray detection material compared to polycrystals. In addition to material properties, X-ray detector performance is affected by the thickness of the absorption layer. Addressing this, a space-confined method is proposed. The temperature field is determined through finite element simulation, effectively guiding the design of the space-confined method. Through this innovative method, a series of thickness-controlled perovskite single crystal wafers (PSCWs) are successfully prepared. Corresponding X-ray detectors are then prepared, and the impact of single crystal thickness on device performance is investigated. With an increase in single crystal thickness, a rise followed by a decline in device sensitivity is observed, reaching an optimal value at 0.7 mm thickness at 40V mm-1 with a device performance of 11313.6µC Gy-1 cm-2. This space-confined method enables the direct growth of high-quality perovskite single crystals with specified thickness, eliminating the need for slicing or etching.

RESUMO

Phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10 (PTEN) represents the initial tumor suppressor gene identified to possess phosphatase activity, governing various cellular processes including cell cycle regulation, migration, metabolic pathways, autophagy, oxidative stress response, and cellular senescence. Current evidence suggests that PTEN is critical for stem cell maintenance, self-renewal, migration, lineage commitment, and differentiation. Based on the latest available evidence, we provide a comprehensive overview of the mechanisms by which PTEN regulates activities of different stem cell populations and influences neurological disorders, encompassing autism, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. This review aims to elucidate the therapeutic impacts and mechanisms of PTEN in relation to neurogenesis or the stem cell niche across a range of neurological disorders, offering a foundation for innovative therapeutic approaches aimed at tissue repair and regeneration in neurological disorders. This review unravels novel therapeutic strategies for tissue restoration and regeneration in neurological disorders based on the regulatory mechanisms of PTEN on neurogenesis and the stem cell niche.

RESUMO

Efforts to understand the complexities of human biology encompass multidimensional aspects, with proteins emerging as crucial components. However, studying the human ovary introduces unique challenges due to its complex dynamics and changes over a lifetime, varied cellular composition, and limited sample access. Here, four new RNA-seq samples of ovarian cortex spanning ages of 7 to 32 were sequenced and added to the existing data in the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) database www.proteinatlas.org, opening the doors to unique possibilities for exploration of oocyte-specific proteins. Based on transcriptomics analysis of the four new tissue samples representing both prepubertal girls and women of fertile age, we selected 20 protein candidates that lacked previous evidence at the protein level, so-called "missing proteins" (MPs). The proteins were validated using high-resolution antibody-based profiling and single-cell transcriptomics. Fourteen proteins exhibited consistent single-cell expression patterns in oocytes and granulosa cells, confirming their presence in the ovary and suggesting that these proteins play important roles in ovarian function, thus proposing that these 14 proteins should no longer be classified as MPs. This research significantly advances the understanding of MPs, unearthing fresh avenues for prospective exploration. By integrating innovative methodologies and leveraging the wealth of data in the HPA database, these insights contribute to refining our understanding of protein roles within the human ovary and opening the doors for further investigations into missing proteins and human reproduction.

RESUMO

Controlling the crystallization to achieve high-quality homogeneous perovskite film is the key strategy in developing perovskite electronic devices. Here, an in situ dynamic optical probing technique is demonstrated that can monitor the fast crystallization of perovskites and effectively minimize the influence of laser excitation during the measurement. This study finds that the typical static probing technique would damage and induce phase segregation in the perovskite films during the excitation. These issues can be effectively resolved with the dynamic probing approach. It also found that the crystallization between MAPbI3 and MAPbI2 Br is strikingly different. In particular, MAPbI2 Br suffers from inefficient nucleation during the spin-coating that strongly affects the uniform crystal growth in the annealing process. The commonly used pre-heating process is found at a lower temperature not only can further promote the nucleation but also to complete the crystallization of MAPbI2 Br. The role of further annealing at a higher temperature is to facilitate ion-dissociation on the crystal surface to form a passivation layer to stabilize the MAPbI2 Br lattices. The device performance is strongly correlated with the film formation mechanism derived from the in situ results. This work demonstrates that the in situ technique can provide deep insight into the crystallization mechanism, and help to understand the growth mechanism of perovskites with different compositions and dimensionalities.

RESUMO

Second-harmonic generation (SHG) response and birefringence stand as fundamental optical properties for nonlinear optical (NLO) materials. Up to now, engineering a strong SHG response and substantial birefringence in the sulfamate system has proven to be exceedingly challenging. A novel noncentrosymmetric compound, Sr(NH2SO3)(NO3)·H2O, has been meticulously designed by introducing the (NO3)- group characterized by significant polarizability anisotropy and hyperpolarizability into the polar non-π-conjugated (NH2SO3)- system. This compound exhibits a robust SHG response (5.2 × KDP), ample birefringence (0.077 at 546.1 nm), and a short ultraviolet (UV) absorption edge (290 nm). The linear and nonlinear optical properties can be attributed to the (NO3)- group and the (NH2SO3)- group. This study presents an effective approach that contributes to the design of more composite anionic UV NLO materials with excellent and balanced optical properties.

RESUMO

Background: Pelvic floor dysfunction is a common complication after cervical cancer surgery, and the key to early prevention and treatment is the timely identification of risk factors and high-risk patients. The present study explored the risk factors of pelvic floor dysfunction in cervical cancer patients after surgery and established a predictive model. Methods: A total of 282 cervical cancer patients admitted to Wuhan No.7 Hospital from January 2020 to June 2022 was retrospectively enrolled in this study. All patients underwent surgery and were followed up after surgery. The patients were divided into a pelvic floor dysfunction group (n=92) and a control group (n=190) according to whether they developed pelvic floor dysfunction or not at 6 months post-surgery. The differences in clinical features between the two groups were observed to identify the risk factors of pelvic floor dysfunction after cervical cancer, and a prediction model was established. Results: There were significant differences in age, surgical method, surgical resection range, and radiotherapy between the two groups (P<0.05). Age greater than 65 years, open surgery, total hysterectomy, and radiotherapy were identified as the risk factors of postoperative pelvic floor dysfunction in patients with cervical cancer (P<0.05). The R4.0.3 statistical software was used to randomly divide the dataset into a training dataset (n=141) and a validation dataset (n=141). The area under the curve was 0.755 (95% confidence interval: 0.673-0.837) in the training set and 0.604 (95% confidence interval: 0.502-0.705) in the verification set. In the validation set, the model was tested with a Hosmer-Lemeshow Goodness-of-Fit test, with a chi-square value of 9.017 and a P value of 0.341. Conclusions: Patients with cervical cancer have a high incidence of postoperative pelvic floor dysfunction. Age greater than 65 years, open surgery, total hysterectomy, and radiotherapy are risk factors of postoperative pelvic floor dysfunction in cervical cancer patients, and the present model helps to identify patients at high-risk of pelvic floor dysfunction.

RESUMO

Slot-die coating is regarded as a reliable and potential technology for preparing large-area perovskite solar cells with high efficiency and low cost. Therein, the formation of continuous and uniform wet film is of significance to obtain a high-quality solid perovskite film. In this work, the rheological properties of the perovskite precursor fluid are analyzed. Then, the ANSYS Fluent is introduced to establish an integrated model of internal and external flow fields during the coating process. The model is applicable to all perovskite precursor solutions with near-Newtonian fluids. Based on the theoretical simulation of finite element analysis, the preparation of 0.8 M-FAxCs1-xPbI3, one of the typical large-area perovskite precursor solutions, is explored. Accordingly, this work indicates that the coupling process parameters like the fluid supply velocity (Vin) and coating velocity (V) determine the uniformity that the solution flows out of the slit and is coated onto the substrates, and the coating windows for a uniform and stable perovskite wet film is obtained. For the upper boundary range of the coating windows, the maximum value of V and Vin follows V = 0.003 + 1.46Vin (Vin ≤ 0.1 m/s), while for its lower boundary range, the minimum value of V and Vin is V = 0.002 + 0.67Vin (Vin ≤ 0.1 m/s). When Vin is higher than 0.1 m/s, the film will break due to the excessive V. Finally, the real experiment verifies the accuracy of the numerical simulation. Hopefully, this work is of reference value for the development of the slot-die coating forming process on the perovskite precursor solution approximating Newtonian fluid.

RESUMO

Previous studies on the relationship between mental health literacy and psychological distress were rich, but little was known about the influence mechanism between them, and almost no research was found on the role of psychological resilience and subjective socio-economic status in the relationship between them. This study used a moderated mediation model to test the mediating effect of psychological resilience on the relationship between mental health literacy and psychological distress, and the moderating effect of subjective socioeconomic status in Chinese adolescents. We investigated 700 junior high school students in Inner Mongolia, China through online survey. The results are as follows: (1) Mental health literacy is a negative predictor of adolescents' psychological distress; (2) psychological resilience mediated the association between mental health literacy and psychological distress; (3) The first half of the model, that is, the relationship between mental health literacy and psychological resilience, is moderated by subjective socioeconomic status. Specifically, for adolescents with low subjective socioeconomic status, the positive predictive effect of mental health literacy on psychological resilience is obviously enhanced. The current findings would contribute to a deep understanding of the relationship among adolescents' mental health literacy, psychological resilience, subjective socioeconomic status and psychological distress, which may be of great significance to the prevention of adolescents' psychological distress.

RESUMO

The design of giant birefringence was performed by adjusting cations to make parallel and compact alignments of π-conjugated (HxC3N3S3)x-3, where x = 1 and 2) groups with large polarizability anisotropy. Finally, the first mixed alkali/alkali-earth-metal trithiocyanurates, A2B(H2C3N3S3)4·nH2O (A = K, Rb, Cs; B = Mg, Sr; n = 5-8, 12), were designed and synthesized successfully. Importantly, Cs2Mg(H2C3N3S3)4·8H2O (III) and K2Sr(H2C3N3S3)4·5H2O (IV) possess large birefringences of 0.580 and 0.194 at 800 nm, respectively, of III has the largest birefringence among all practical birefringent crystals, cyanurates, and hydroisocyanurates.

RESUMO

Cs3Bi2I9 (CBI) single crystal (SC) is a promising material for a higher-performance direct X-ray detector. However, the composition of CBI SC prepared by the solution method usually deviates from the ideal stoichiometric ratio, which limits the detector performance. In this paper, based on the finite element analysis method, the growth model of the top-seed solution method has been established, and then the influence of precursor ratio, temperature field, and other parameters on the composition of CBI SC has been simulated. The simulation results were used to guide the growth of the CBI SCs. Finally, a high-quality CBI SC with a stoichiometric ratio of Cs/Bi/I = 2.87:2:8.95 has been successfully grown, and the defect density is as low as 1.03 × 109 cm-3, the carrier lifetime is as high as 16.7 ns, and the resistivity is as high as 1.44 × 1012 Ω·cm. The X-ray detector based on this SC has a sensitivity of 29386.2 µC·Gyair-1 cm-2 at an electric field of 40 V·mm-1, and a low detection limit of 0.36 nGyair·s-1, creating a record for the all-inorganic perovskite materials.

RESUMO

All-perovskite tandem solar cells provide high power conversion efficiency at a low cost1-4. Rapid efficiency improvement in small-area (<0.1 cm2) tandem solar cells has been primarily driven by advances in low-bandgap (approximately 1.25 eV) perovskite bottom subcells5-7. However, unsolved issues remain for wide-bandgap (> 1.75 eV) perovskite top subcells8, which at present have large voltage and fill factor losses, particularly for large-area (>1 cm2) tandem solar cells. Here we develop a self-assembled monolayer of (4-(7H-dibenzo[c,g]carbazol-7-yl)butyl)phosphonic acid as a hole-selective layer for wide-bandgap perovskite solar cells, which facilitates subsequent growth of high-quality wide-bandgap perovskite over a large area with suppressed interfacial non-radiative recombination, enabling efficient hole extraction. By integrating (4-(7H-dibenzo[c,g]carbazol-7-yl)butyl)phosphonic acid in devices, we demonstrate a high open-circuit voltage (VOC) of 1.31 V in a 1.77-eV perovskite solar cell, corresponding to a very low VOC deficit of 0.46 V (with respect to the bandgap). With these wide-bandgap perovskite subcells, we report 27.0% (26.4% certified stabilized) monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells with an aperture area of 1.044 cm2. The certified tandem cell shows an outstanding combination of a high VOC of 2.12 V and a fill factor of 82.6%. Our demonstration of the large-area tandem solar cells with high certified efficiency is a key step towards scaling up all-perovskite tandem photovoltaic technology.

RESUMO

The density of new shoots on pine trees is an important indicator of their growth and photosynthetic capacity. However, traditional methods to monitor new shoot density rely on manual and destructive measurements, which are labor-intensive and have led to fewer studies on new shoot density. Therefore, in this study, we present user-friendly software called CountShoots, which extracts new shoot density in an easy and convenient way using unmanned aerial vehicles based on the YOLOX and Slash Pine Shoot Counting Network (SPSC-net) models. This software mainly consists of 2 steps. Firstly, we deployed a modified YOLOX model to identify the tree species and location from complex RGB background images, which yielded a high recognition accuracy of 99.15% and 95.47%. These results showed that our model produced higher detection accuracy compared to YOLOv5, Efficientnet, and Faster-RCNN models. Secondly, we constructed an SPSC-net. This methodology is based on the CCTrans network, which outperformed DM-Count, CSR-net, and MCNN models, with the lowest mean squared error and mean absolute error results among other models (i.e., 2.18 and 1.47, respectively). To our best knowledge, our work is the first research contribution to identify tree crowns and count new shoots automatically in slash pine. Our research outcome provides a highly efficient and rapid user-interactive pine tree new shoot detection and counting system for tree breeding and genetic use purposes.

RESUMO

Dandy-Walker syndrome is one of the posterior fossa malformations, which is easily confused with arachnoid cyst or cerebellar dysplasia in clinical practice, leading to misdiagnosis. Dandy-Walker syndrome is easy to be combined with hydrocephalus, resulting in increased intracranial pressure, increased head circumference, growth retardation, spastic hemiplegia and other manifestations, and can also be accompanied by other nervous system malformations. On February 27, 2021, a child with Dandy-Walker syndrome with growth retardation as the primary manifestation was admitted to Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. After multiple surgical treatment, the child's hydrocephalus was significantly improved. Through the analysis of the clinical data of the child's operation and the treatment of complications, it is helpful to improve the clinicians' understanding of the surgical treatment of the disease.

RESUMO

AIM: To observe the clinical features of acute macular neuroretinopathy(AMN)induced by Omicron.METHODS: A retrospective study. A total of 9 patients(18 eyes)diagnosed with AMN from December 2022 to January 2023 in the Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were included. Patients underwent spectral-domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT), fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA), fundus photography, autofluorescence(AF), infrared reflectance(IR), optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)and multicolor, etc. Furthermore, they were followed up for 1~3mo and observed the prognosis.RESULTS: The initial symptom of the Omicron-induced AMN was the sudden onset of central/paracentral scotoma in the eyes with or without impaired vision and metamorphopsia, and the scotoma could persist for at least 3mo. The image features of AMN are as follows. First, the SD-OCT examination showed the rupture of outer retinal layers, scattered hyperreflective lesions, and atrophy of outer retinal layers. In severe cases, hyperreflective lesions were seen in the inner nuclear layer(INL)or with microcystic cavities under the retinal pigment epithelium(RPE). Second, the OCTA examination demonstrated the decreased blood flow density of the deep capillary plexus(DCP)of the macula. Third, the IR examination showed the weak reflection of lesion areas. Fourth, the fundus photography demonstrated the localized brown wedge-shaped lesion.CONCLUSIONS: The Omicron-induced AMN is mostly found in young females, and the characteristic manifestation of fundus is damage to the outer retinal layers. The extent of fundus lesions is related to the systemic inflammatory response and ocular microcirculatory changes after infection. The multimodal fundus image examination and a history of Omicron infection are helpful to diagnose the Omicron-induced AMN.

RESUMO

It is widely acknowledged that the climacteric syndrome negatively affects women's quality of life and leads to cerebral ischemic injury, osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease. One of the main active ingredients in Radix Scutellariae, Baicalin, has been established to possess a wide range of pharmacological effects and is beneficial in enhancing osteogenic differentiation and cardiovascular disease. Baicalin's profound metabolic impact on various stem cell populations and their fate specification could improve the efficiency of stem cell therapy for climacteric syndrome. However, Baicalin-mediated processes are complex and many of the underlying mechanisms are not fully fathomed yet. This review aims to shed light on the regulatory role of Baicalin on the diverse behaviors of distinct stem cell populations and provide a good cell source for stem cell therapy to broaden the therapeutic landscape for climacteric syndrome patients.

RESUMO

The short-circuit current density (J SC) of CdTe solar cells both in the short and long wavelength regions can be effectively enhanced by using CdS/CdSe as the composite window layer. CdS/CdSe composite layers would interdiffuse to form the CdSe x S1-x ternary layer during the high temperature deposition process of CdTe films. In this paper, the electronic properties of CdSe x S1-x (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) ternary alloys are investigated by first-principles calculation based on the density functional theory (DFT) and the performance of CdS/CdSe/CdTe devices are modeled by SCAPS to reveal why CdS/CdSe complex layers have good effects. The calculation results show that the position of the valence band of CdSe x S1-x moves towards the vacuum level as the doping concentration of Se increases and the band gap becomes narrow. According to device modeling, the highest conversion efficiency of 20.34% could be achieved through adjusting the conduction band offset (CBO) of theCdSe x S1-x /CdTe interface to about 0.11 eV while the Se concentration x approaches 0.75. Further investigations suggest a 50-120 nm thickness of CdSe x S1-x (x = 0.75) would obtain better device performance. It means that solar cells with a CdSe x S1-x /CdTe structure need a suitable Se content and thickness of CdSe x S1-x . These results can provide theoretical guidance for the design and fabrication of high efficiency CdTe solar cells.

RESUMO

Selenium, reported as an important medium for maintaining the body's homeostasis, acts to have multiple bioeffects including anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-apoptosis effects. However, its role in heart failure still remains unclear. In this study, we explored the effects of selenium on heart failure and its possible mechanism. The heart failure models were induced by aortic banding and isoproterenol. H&E, TUNEL and PSR staining were performed to detect the degree of cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, apoptosis rates and heart fibrosis, respectively. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to detect different mRNA levels, and western blot was applied to assess the expressions of relative proteins. Immunofluorescence staining was used to evaluate α-SMA density. We first found that treatment of selenium alleviated heart fibrosis and the development of heart failure but not cardiomyocyte cross sectional areas. Besides, selenium improved heart levels of superoxide dismutase2 (SOD2), glutathione peroxidase (Gpx) and glutathione (GSH) and the activity of SOD, accompanied by decreased apoptosis rate. In addition, our in vitro study has shown that selenium reduced mRNA levels of collagen Ⅰ and collagen III, expressions of a-SMA, p-AKT/AKT and p-GSK-3ß/ GSK-3ß, apoptosis rates and reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels in H9C2 cardio-myoblasts treated with TGF-ß1. Moreover, the level of Sirt1 was found to be up-regulated by selenium which effects were weakened after the administration of small interfering RNA (siRNA)-Sirt1 or EX527 (inhibitor of Sirt1). Our current results have demonstrated that the protective effects of selenium on heart hypertrophy is through the regulation of Sirt1 and AKT/GSK-3ß pathway.
