[Intradural hydatidosis of the thoracic spine. Apropos of a case]. / Hydatidose intra-durale rachidienne dorsale. A propos d'un cas.

The authors report a case of subdural spinal hydatid cyst. A diagnostic error was responsible for a communication between the cavity and the arachnoid space during resection of the cyst. Despite of this incident no other site was detected in this patient.

[Imaging of hydatid cyst of the kidney. Reflections apropos of 35 cases]. / Imagerie du kyste hydatique du rein. Réflexions à propos de 35 cas.

Thirty-five patients with hydatid cysts in the kidneys have been examined with the various imaging techniques. The results with each technique are reported. The authors lay stress on the usefulness of the combined IVP and ultrasound. Computed tomography is reserved for pseudotumoral images. As far as MRI is concerned, the initial studies seem to be promising, and the studies currently in progress will define its real assets.
