RESUMO

Developing potentially toxic metal ion probes is significant for environment and food safety. Although Hg2+ probes have been extensively studied, small molecule fluorophores that can integrate two applications of visual detection and separation into one unit remain challenging to access. Herein, by incorporating triphenylamine (TPA) into tridentate skeleton with an acetylene bridge, 2,6-bisbenzimidazolpyridine-TPA (4a), 2,6-bisbenzothiazolylpyridine-TPA (4b) and 2,6-bisbenzothiazolylpyridine-TPA (4c) were first constructed, expectably showing distinct solvatochromism and dual-state emission properties. Since the diverse emission properties, the fluorescence detection of 4a-4b can be achieved with an ultrasensitive response (LOD = 10-11 M) and efficient removal of Hg2+. More interestingly, 4a-4b can not only be developed into paper/film sensing platform, but also reliably detect Hg2+ in real water and seaweed samples, with recoveries ranging from 97.3% to 107.8% and a relative standard deviation of less than 5%, indicating that they have excellent application potential in the field of environmental and food chemistry.

RESUMO

A new type of conjugated polybenzimidazole (CPBI) was synthesized through a simple polycondensation reaction without metal catalysis, and N-alkylation modification was carried out to solve the problems of solubility and fluorescence properties. A series of nano-microsphere polymers CPBIn with large conjugation, good solubility, and strong fluorescence has been successfully used as "turn-off" fluorescent probes for the first time. The results show that, under suitable N-alkylation conditions, the obtained CPBIn can be used as a highly sensitive and selective fluorescent probe for the detection of Cu2+ and Zn2+ at the same time, and their detection limits are both nM levels. In addition, CPBI2 can be designed as an ultra-sensitive IMPLICATION logic gate at the molecular level, cyclically detecting Cu2+. With the test paper containing CPBI2, easy and quick on-site detection can be achieved. This research provides a new idea for the brief synthesis of multifunctional materials.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the status of Leishmania infantum asymptomatic infection in human population of a Kala-azar endemic area in Wenxian County, Gansu Province, and to evaluate the tests used. METHODS: Blood samples were tested by PCR using two pairs of primers, RV1-RV2 and K13A-K13B, for detecting Leishmania-specific DNA. ELISA and rK39-dipstick were used to detect Leishmania-specific antibodies. RESULTS: The positive rate of PCR, ELISA and rK39-dipstick was 30.9%(83/269). 24.2%(65/269) and 0 (0/269) respectively. CONCLUSION: The prevalence of asymptomatic infection of L. infantum in humans is high in the area. PCR test based on RV1-RV2 and K13A-K13B primer pairs is a sensitive and specific method for detecting the asymptomatic infection.

RESUMO

Reflectance spectra in the visible and near-infrared wavelength region provide a rapid and inexpensive means for determining the mineralogy of samples and obtaining information on chemical composition. Hydrocarbon microseepage theory sets up a cause-and-effect relation between oil and gas reservoirs and some special surface alterations. Therefore the authors can explore for oil and gas by determining the reflectance spectra of surface alterations. This determination can be fulfilled by means of field work and hyperspectral remote sensing. In the present paper, firstly a macroscopical feature of reflectance spectra of typical observation points in gas fields is presented. Then a method is proposed in order to provide surface distribution information (e.g., classification) of alterations based on the reflectance spectra determined from the field, and obtain anomaly zones of the special alterations. This method has been applied to the analysis of the reflectance spectra determined in the field of Qinghai X X area, and the classification results tally with the existent gas fields in this area. A robustness analysis of the method shows that good results can be obtained when different combinations of parameters, such as samples, study band regions and thresholds, have been chosen in the process of classification. The valid classification samples and algorithms can be provided for the oil and gas exploration in progress in this area using NASA experimental hyperion hyperspectral satellite.
