RESUMO
Cycloheximide was unable to induce or inhibit the appearance of the refractory state to decidualization which is normally obtained by a small dose of oestrogen given to the progesterone-dominated uterus. Neither was this inhibitor capable of preventing progesterone from sensitizing the uterus to decidualizing stimuli. These results suggest that certain effects of luteal steroids in endometrial cells do not depend on RNA translation.
