RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Radical prostatectomy is a treatment for prostate cancer (PC), but most patients suffer urinary incontinence, decreased urinary control function, and poor prognoses after the surgery. Specific nursing intervention is a nursing model based on the patients' individual conditions and disease progression. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of specific nursing intervention on the urinary control functions and self-efficacy of radical prostatectomy patients. METHODS: From April 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019, 149 patients who underwent radical prostatectomies in our hospital were retrospectively selected for this observational study and assigned to two groups in accordance with the different nursing intervention method each patient underwent. Seventy-six patients who underwent specific nursing intervention were included in the observation group (OG), and 73 patients who underwent routine nursing intervention were included in the control group (CG). The clinical symptoms, the urodynamic indexes, the recoveries of urinary control function, the incidences of urinary incontinence, and the complications were observed in both groups. The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores were used to evaluate the unhealthy emotions. The self-efficacy scale (GSES) and SF-36 were used to evaluate the self-efficacy and the quality of life (QOL), respectively. RESULTS: After the nursing, the improvement in the clinical symptoms in the OG was significantly better than it was in CG. The improvement in the postoperative urodynamic indexes in the OG was significantly better than it was in the CG. The recovery of urinary control function in the OG was significantly higher than it was in the CG. The incidence of urinary incontinence in OG was significantly lower than it was in the CG. The incidence of complications in the OG was significantly lower than it was in the CG. The SAS and SDS scores in the OG were significantly lower than they were in the CG. After the intervention, the patients' GSES and SF-36 scores in the OG were significantly higher than they were in the CG. CONCLUSION: Specific nursing intervention can ameliorate the urinary control functions and self-efficacy, reduce unhealthy emotions, and improve the QOL of radical prostatectomy patients.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To explore the efficacy of community-family management mode under Internet-based mobile terminal (MT) monitoring in stable coronary heart disease (CHD) in the elderly. METHODS: A total of 86 patients with stable CHD treated in our hospital from May 2018 to May 2021 were selected as the study objects for the retrospective study and were divided into the control group (routine intervention) and the research group (community-family management mode intervention under Internet MT monitoring) according to the health management modes, with 43 cases each, and the health behaviors and control of CHD were compared between the two groups. RESULTS: No statistical between-group differences in general information were observed (P > 0.05); 6 months after intervention, the control of laboratory indexes including blood pressure, blood glucose, triglyceride, and total cholesterol in patients was obviously better in the research group than in the control group (P > 0.05); after intervention, the scores on rehabilitation knowledge level and secondary prevention behavior were obviously higher in the research group than in the control group (P > 0.05); 6 months after intervention, the scores on physical limitation, anginal stabilization, anginal frequency, disease perception, and treatment satisfaction were obviously higher in the research group than in the control group (P > 0.05); compared with the control group within 1 year of intervention, the readmission rate of the research group was significantly lower (P > 0.05); and compared with the control group, the total score of CQQC and scores on physical strength, condition, general life, and social mentality were significantly better in the research group (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Community-family management mode under Internet-based MT monitoring is the valid continuation of clinical nursing for elderly patients with stable CHD, which plays an effective role in terms of daily monitoring indexes, stabilizing condition, improving disease cognition, reducing the readmission rate, and improving the prognostic quality of life of patients.

RESUMO

An ion imprinted polymer (IIP) was synthesized by using Pb(II) as a template, methacrylic acid as a monomer, 8-hydoxyquinoline as a ligand, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as a crosslinker, and azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator. It can be applied to prepare lead ion selective voltammetric sensor for Pb(II) adsorption and trace detection. The Pb(II)-IIP was characterized by FTIR spectra and SEM image. Under optimized conditions of polymerization, the Pb(II)-IIP showed good adsorption behavior toward Pb(II), with a magnitude of three times higher than that of the non imprinted polymer (NIP). Also, it exhibited a favorable selectivity for Pb(II), compared with other heavy metal ions of Hg(II), Cd(II), Cu(II), and a negligible adsorption to the other cations. The synthesized IIP was used to determine trace levels of Pb(II) in food and water samples, with a calibration linear range over Pb(II) concentrations of 0.05 - 60 µM and a limit of detection at 0.01 µM.
