RESUMO

We explored the efficacy and the mechanisms of influence on physical performance of vibratory loads in the "whole body vibration" (WBV) at a frequency of 50 Hz, amplitude of 30 mm and a running time of 30 minutes, which was performed after each standard training sessions in athletes for 3 weeks. WBV vibration causes an occurrence ofhypoxia, as evidenced by the end of the study the serum growth athletes content HIF- 1 a with 0.89+/-0.03 to 1.3 1+/-0.01 ngxml-1, which is substantially higher than in control (1.04+/-0.02 ngxml-1). Simultaneously, it is activated such a HIF-1 alpha-dependent process as erythropoiesis: the contents of red blood cells increases at the end of the study to 6.04+/-0.11x10(12) 1-1 (control only to 5.23+/-0.12x10(12)xl-1). Intensification of angiogenic stimuli under the influence of hypoxia is manifested by a significant two times increase in the serum levels of the main angiogenesis factor VEGF (to 62.3+6.8 pgxml-1, from the control level of 32.7+/-4.7 pgxml-1 Vibration loads are accompanied by a lack of oxidative stress, an important ergolytic factor. In contrast, they activate nonenzymatic antioxidant system unit, resulting in an increase in the content of reduced glutathione in the cell membranes. We detected a reduction in endogenous toxicity and improvement of humoral immunity and, as a result, an improvement of physical performance in athletes.

RESUMO

On the basis of results of quantum-chemical researches with the analysis of atomic structure of molecule, it is shown that polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids have the expressed antioxidant and membranoprotective properties that with bioantioxidants karotenoids--tocopherols--are similar. At application in the sportsmen of medical drug Epadol on the basis of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids it is shown that it brakes the activity of lipid peroxidation simultaneously, that is represented by reduction of maintenance of malonic dialdehyde as one of his eventual foods, and assists the improvement of antioxidant defence, that it contingently the increase of concentration of recovered glutathione in the membranes of red blood cells. Under the action of this medical drug the prooxidative-antioxidative coefficient for sportsmen goes down from 2.44 to 1.34 that specifies on a presence at Epadol of antioxidant properties. At the same time sorption ability of erithrocytes, characterizing functional properties of their membranes under act of Epadol goes down from 35.04 +/- 2.23% to 25.3 +/- 1.07% that counteracts to aggregating of red blood cells. An expediency of application of Ukrainian medical drug Epadol on the basis of polyunsaturated fatty acids in practice of preparation of sportsmen for normalization of structural and functional status of cell membranes as well as of prophylaxis noncontrolled apoptosis come into question.

RESUMO

On the basis of model experiments in vitro with application of sodium succinate which is the basic constituent of dietary supplementation "YantarIn-Sport", possibility of correction of the structurally-functional state of red blood cell membranes is well-proven. It is show that prooxidative-antioxidative balance in washed erythrocytes is normalized with the accumulation of recovered glutathione from 2.34 to 3.12 x 10(-12) mM in one erythrocyte, and their sorption ability (from 35.6 to 27.1% as well as red blood cells permeability (from 4.61 to 3.98 conditional units) are decreased. In vivo research the positive influence of sodium succinate on descriptions of red blood cells of skilled sportsmen is confirmed, that is founding for application of succinic acid derivatives with the purpose of sporting anaemia' warning as well as improvement of microcirculation processes and increase of speed blood flow.

RESUMO

A mechanism of basic serum blood antioxidant ceruloplasmin interaction with membrane surface of the monolayer from distearoyl phosphatidylcholine was investigated. It was shown that an important component of this interaction is an arising of a bond within negatively charged side chains of ceruloplasmin aminoacids and phosphate groups of monolayer film and change of packing density due to this interaction.

RESUMO

Based on analysis of current literature and own results the basic mechanisms of development of anemia as well as structural and functional states of erythrocyte membrane during intensive physical activity in sportsmen are presented. A mechanism linking structural changes and function of membrane of erythrocytes with hemoglobin content has been shown. Antioxidants, detoxicants and membrane protectors were used in the study for prevention of functional anemia. It was established that all these treatments had beneficial effect on content of hemoglobin in erythrocytes. The results obtained expand current knowledge regarding the mechanisms of development of anemia during oxidative stress and may be used for correction of functional state of sportsmen.

RESUMO

In the article the changes of lipid-protein bilayer of erythrocyte membrane, their structural-functional particularities and activities of lipid peroxidation in interrelation with anemia's parameters in athletes. It was shown that under the intensive prolonged physical load activation of lipid peroxidation in erythrocyte membranes led to significant changes of functional parameters accompanied by increased aggregation and permeability, glycocalix sorption ability and sorption capacity along with simultaneous alteration of phospholipid and protein membrane bilayer. These membrane changes in 75% athletes accociated with anemia development which correlates with degree of biochemical and structural-functional changes in erythrocyte membrane that requires correction by antioxidant and membranoprotective therapy on stage of athletes preparation.

RESUMO

Intensive training process is accompanied by the oxidative stress with alteration of homeostatic balance and functional possibility of cardio-vascular system followed by decrease of oxygen transport and tissue hypoxia. The tissue hypoxia and increase of oxygen active forms level worsen structural and functional status of erythrocyte membranes that led to the temporary anaemia. In this article was shown that Rithmocor corrected these alterations and increased adaptation of sportsmen to the intensive training load (increase of endurance). An improvement of erythrocyte membranes status resulted in the increase of intracorpuscular haemoglobin content the critical parameter for the anaemia development. It has been established that Rithmocor causes an increased of sportsmen endurance to the intensive training load and therefore could be recommended for use in this situation.

RESUMO

A review presents analysis of data on involving the oxygen active forms and products of lipid peroxidation resulted from oxidative stress in carcinogenesis at all its levels and during the treatment of cancer patients. Role of various classes of antioxidants in decrease of damaging effect of oxidative stress on DNA structure, state of plasmatic membrane and extracellular matrix as well as the prevention of development and progression of neoplasm is shown. The authors consider that use of antioxidants is well grounded during cytoreductive therapy in patients with various malignancies.

RESUMO

Dibunol was administered 48 and 24 hours before the operation at a dose of 4 g using capsules of 1 g each, in lung cancer patients. Stress severity was judged from the blood content of hydrocortisone, 17-keto- and 17-ketogenic steroids in 24-h urine, the content of mid-molecular weight peptides and indicators of intoxication before the operation and at 1, 3 and 5-7 day following it. Stress-protective effect of dibunol was manifested by almost 2-fold reduction in the blood hydrocortisone, urine 17-KS and 17-KGS/24 h levels following the operation, and by return of these parameters to baseline level at day 3 (whilst without dibunal no normalization occurred even at day 5-7), as well as by an appreciable lowering of the parameters characterizing intoxication.
