A topical issue of medical care provided to the teenagers and an introduction of a new technology of rendering such care to them under the conditions of pediatric out-hospital clinical institutions are discussed. The establishment of a multi-level system of the medical care management, as described in the article, will enable to detect, timely, pathologies in teenagers for the purpose of improving their health and for the purpose of exempting the male teenagers with physical defects and with psychosomatic disorders from the military service in the army and fleet. The designing and successive implementation of the general scheme of promoting the management of medical care of teenagers with regard for a modern state-of-art of health care institutions and with regard for the health condition of the growing generation would insure a rational usage of the material-and-technical, personnel and financial resources of health care and military commissariats.

[Economic efficiency of medical care in the preparation of young men for military service]. / Ekonomicheskaia éffektivnost' meditsinskogo obespecheniia podgotovki iunoshei k voennoi sluzhbe.

The paper considers topical problems of medical examination of young men to define the category of their fitness for military service and organizational aspects of three-stage implementation in this area under the present conditions. Appropriate methods for evaluating economic efficiency have been developed and tested. They make it possible to deduce in situ an integral to assess activities in medical providing the preparation of young men for military service in the context of years, some nosological entities, and medical facilities.

In the article the main social privileges and guarantees stipulated by the laws of Russian Federation as well as the role and significance of military medical examination organs in the problems of social security of servicemen and persons underwent military service (military training) and members of their families are discussed. The authors emphasize legal significance of conclusions drawn by military medical commissions in examined persons for registration of invalidity, insurance payments, single-payment grants, compensation and privilege rights.

[Organization and conduction of control checkups and medical examination in servicemen]. / Organizatsiia i provedenie kontrol'nogo obsledovaniia i meditsinskogo osvedetel'stvovaniia voennosluzhashchikh.

The authors substantiate the necessity of organization and conduction in the Russian Federation Armed Forces of control checkup and medical examination of servicemen by permanent military medical commissions. It is emphasized that control checkup and medical examination are the most effective form providing control of organization of medical-and-diagnostic process and military medical examination in medical institutions. Basing on long experience of military medical examination organs the methods of organization and conduction of control checkup and medical examination in central and district (naval) military hospitals is discussed in details. The conclusions were made that it is necessary to conduct control checkup and medical examination of servicemen with obligatory participation of head (chief) medical specialists of military district (Navy), medical institutions and specialists of permanent military medical commissions.
