Endolymphatic way of the medicinal preparations administration promotes their more effective influence on pathological focus. The experience of conduction of more then 15,000 of the lymphatic vessels catheterization manipulations was summarized, permitting to perform the treatment of patients successfully.

In 164 patients with inoperable pulmonary cancer endolymphatical infusion of cyclophosphamide and metotrexate had promoted the efficacy and security promotion of polychemotherapy conduction in comparison with such a therapy, using intravenous introduction of preparations. It was noted the increase of a life span and a five-year survival of the patients.

An improved version of the MPT2 (LAUDA) computerized tensiometer (Germany) was used to measure dynamic surface tension (ST) of blood and urine by the maximum bubble pressure method in patients with tumors of the uterus, vagina and cervical canal. Relatively low blood and urine ST values at t-->infinity and serum at t = 1 s were registered. Combined radiotherapy involved oppositely-directed changes in the equilibrium (static) ST of the biological fluids as well as a urine ST inhibition in the surface short-life range (t = 0.01 s). The slope of blood serumtension curves by the end of treatment was close to that in healthy females.

[Immediate results of surgical treatment of gastric cancer complicated by anemia]. / Neposredstvennye rezul'taty khirurgicheskogo lecheniia raka zheludka, oslozhnennogo anemiei.

The immediate results of surgical treatment of gastric cancer complicated by anemia in 137 patients are presented. Resectability rate was 66.4%, total postoperative lethality--4.4%, incidence of postoperative complications--21.9%. In the process of preoperative preparation, correction of anemia was performed in 35% of the patients. At the postoperative period, severity degree of anemia had no influence on the incidence of postoperative complications provided that the reliable methods for creation of esophago-intestinal and gastrointestinal anastomoses were used.

[Results of the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with rectal cancer after Duhamel's operation]. / Rezul'taty lecheniia i reabilitatsii bol'nykh rakom priamoi kishki posle operatsii Diuamelia.

The article discusses the results of treatment and the effect of rehabilitation of 169 patients with carcinoma of the rectum who underwent Duhamel's operation. The authors consider Duhamel's operation to be indicated in carcinoma of the superampullary and rectosigmoid parts of the rectum. They believe that the percentage of patients who resumed activity at the former place of work without expert medical assessment of their working capacity is the criterion of the efficacy of medical rehabilitation. The group of working persons came to 51%. The criterion of the efficacy of medical rehabilitation was 39.4%.

[Surgical treatment of cancer of the large intestine, complicated by intestinal obstruction]. / Khirurgicheskoe lechenie raka tol'stoi kishki, oslozhnennogo kishechnoi neprokhodimost'iu.

Retrospective analysis of the treatment of 3,080 patients with cancer of the large intestine made it possible to distinguish compensated, sub- and decompensated degrees of the neoplastic stenosis and place the two last named into the category of a complicated course of cancer. In subcompensated stenosis (complications in 16.3% of cases, mortality 5.9%), irrespective of the location of the tumor, the authors consider one-stage intervention with primary restoration of the continuity of the intestine to be the operation of choice. In decompensated stenosis (complications 28.9%, mortality 13.2%) caused by tumors of the right colon and the rectum they recommend a similar policy, while in tumors of the left colon they believe Hartmann's operation to be indicated.

[Intralymphatic antibiotic therapy of inflammatory complications in colonic cancer]. / Endolimfaticheskaia antibiotikoterapiia vospalitel'nykh oslozhnenii raka obodochnoi kishki.

In 18 patients with the inflammatory complications of colonic cancer before and after the operation, kanamycin, or one of the antibiotics of a cephalosporin group was administered into the lymphatic vessels of the upper third of a thigh at a daily dose of 20-25 mg/kg of body weight. After 3-4 days, the state of the patients considerably improved. All the patients underwent radical operations with primary restoration of intestinal continuity. There were no progression of purulent complications, postoperative lethality.
