RESUMO
In order to create a tissue-engineered vascular graft we elaborated a matrix consisting of nanofibres of biodegradable polymer L-polylactide. We worked out the methodology of crystallization of the matrix on a rod, making it possible to manufacture specimens possessing strength and deformity characteristics superior to those of native vessels. This was followed by a series of chronic experiments on implanting the elaborated matrix into the abdominal aorta of rats for the duration of up to 16 months. We obtained satisfactory parameters of the patency of the matrices (71%). According to the findings of histological examination, in the course of time there occurred biodegradation of the matrix and formation of a new vascular wall, with no evidence of either inflammation or neointimal hyperplasia in the zone of the anastomoses. Resorption of the polymeric fibres commenced 12 weeks after exposure and completely terminated after 64 weeks. By that time, both neointima and neoadventitia were formed, whose composition and structure were close to those of the native vessel. Insufficiently high mechanical properties of the zone of reconstruction turned out to be the cause of the formation of aneurysms.

For better improvement of medical rehabilitation referred to effective restoration of functional status of servicemen after cardiovascular surgery it is necessary to introduce standards of medical rehabilitation at all stages of rehabilitation, syndrome-pathologic principle of grouping patients, multidisciplinary organisation of medical activity: cardiologist-physician, specialist of functional diagnostics, specialist of physical therapy, psychotherapist, physical therapeutic, surgeon and specialist of professional rehabilitation. Basic ways of improvement of the system of rehabilitation were organisational technologies of interaction during early and late stages of rehabilitation and persistent control of quality and effectiveness of rehabilitation. Optimization of organisation of late stage of hospitalisation allowed to reduce the average time of rehabilitation to 33,3% and at the same time to improve effectiveness of rehabilitation.

Authors present a short summary about the history of 6th Central Military Clinical Hospital (now - Branch N 2 of the Vishnevskiy Central Military Clinical hospital N3), founded in September 1989. Hospital Branch N 2 is one of the first specialized applied research centres in our country, many highly-qualified, experienced and certified professional work at the hospital; they are proficient in original and unique methods of treatment based on high technologies and capable to solve any problem, even the most difficult, connected with medical rehabilitation of patients. Hospital Branch N 2 is also known as the Centre of orthopaedic and prosthetic aid to disabled servicemen. Also patients with different diseases and suffering from boardline mental disorders, psychosomatic disorders and chronic fatigue syndrome receive complete rehabilitative therapy under "late" hospital stage.

The 15-year clinical experience with falloendoprosthetic operations (FEPO) in patients with erectile dysfunction is reviewed including algorithm of diagnostic examination, prostheses of different generations, indications and contraindications for falloendoprosthetic surgery. The results of 117 FEPO are outlined with special emphasis on 19 cases of postoperative complications. The conclusion is made that FEPO is most effective in erectile dysfunction by the presented criteria of the erectile dysfunction treatment efficacy.

This paper examines the structural and mechanical properties of composite materials based on chitosan and micro- and nanoparticles of Na-montmorillonite and possibility of application for cultivation and targeted delivery of mesenchymal stem cells and regenerative cells. It's have been shown by addition of Na-montmorillonite biomaterial acquires stability of structural and mechanical properties in the sterilization process the handling of liquid media in cell culture. In vitro studies using dermal fibroblasts and adipose tissue mesenchymal stem cells demonstrated that this material has a set of properties to ensure matrix biocompatibility.

There are two main directions of development of medical rehabilitation in the Armed Forces of RF for now-days: medical-psychological rehabilitation of military service men among special contingents, realizing special military duty (air- and NAVY-staff, staff duty shift of Missile Force of Special Purpose) and medical rehabilitation of military service men, participants of battle action in accordance with sub-program "Social support and rehabilitation of invalids in consequence of battle action or battle trauma" of Federal Purpose Program in the sphere of social support of invalids. The authors mark necessity of reorientation of medical strategy from evaluation of determination of symptoms of already existent disease to evaluation of determination of adaptation reserves of organism of military service men, determination of changes in organism on the stage of pre-disease.
