RESUMO

A clinico-laboratorial study of the functional state of the kidneys in 54 patients with severe hemorrhagical and ischemic brain strokes established intensified glomerular filtration in a relatively preserved water excretional, concentrational, Na and K uretical kidney function. The detected azotemia is considered as a result of excessive production of residual blood over the increased function of the kidneys to their elimination. Classical acute kidney insufficiency developed in 3 patients with severe disturbances of hemocirculation.

RESUMO

The functional state of the kidneys and the level of azotemia were studied in 51 patients with a severe craniocerebral trauma. Two groups of patients were distinguished according to the preservation of diminution of glomerular filtration. Comparison between these 2 groups showed that in normal glomerular filtration azotemia was linked with the catabolic process, while in diminished glomerular filtration azotemia was also associated with a reduced renal function. The level of azotemia has been established; a higher value is evidence of renal insufficiency.

RESUMO

A study of 147 patients with a severe brain trauma demonstrated that in 84,3% of the renal cases there was a transient drop in the function, accompanied by a decrease in the glomerulus filtration and asotemia. The role of the catobolic process in the development of asotemia is being marked. The report contains a table for the estimation of the degree of renal insufficiency. In an assessment of the renal functions it is important to analyze each biochemical index and to select the correct time of such examinations.

RESUMO

The functional state of the kidneys in dynamics was investigated in 147 patients with severe cerebro-cranial injuries. Dynamic changes of the blood protein metabolites in patients with normal glomerular filtration and depressed one were contrasted. The declined glomerular filtration was found to be of a passing nature, being accompanied by an increased content of nitrous products in the blood. The relation of azotemia with both renal and extrarenal factors is stressed. A relationship between the glomerular filtration and an upset hemodynamics and dehydration, as well as the absence of its dependance on isolated respiratory distressed, changes in the level of plasmatic electrolytes and also on the nature of the brain lesion and the age of patients were established.
