[Possibilities of magnetic resonance tomography in pancreatic cancer diagnosis]. / Vozmozhnosti magnitorezonansnoi tomografii v diagnostike raka podzheludochnoi zhelezy.

There was conducted examination of 27 patients with pancreatic cancer using clinico-laboratory and instrumental methods: ultrasonic investigation, computeric tomography (CT), magnetic-resonance tomography (MRT). MRT was uninformative when pancreatic tumor was up to 3 cm in diameter. In diagnosis of cystadenocarcinoma, affection of common biliary duct and vessels and in small focal metastatic hepatic affection the results of MRT showed enhanced precision in comparison with CT. Informativity of MRT and CT in diagnosis of metastases in lymph nodes was equal.

[Diagnostic aspects of pharyngeal tumors]. / Diagnosticheskie aspekty opukholei glotki.

In the work there are summarized the results of the examination of the 28 patients suffering with the pharynx tumors (angiophybroma of the pharynx, tumor of rhinopharynx with spreading to the cells of ethmoidal labyrinth and maxillary sinus, tumor of the pharynx spreading upon the rhinopharynx and intracranially) aged from 14 till 62. There are described the methods of roentgenologic investigation, computed and magnetic resonance tomography. There are shown the possibilities of different diagnostic methods in pharynx tumors, in estimation of the localization specification, prevalence, structure, degree of invasion into the neoplasms gathering round the cells, as well as the definition of the bony destruction.

[The use of magnetic resonance tomography in the diagnosis of aneurysm of the abdominal aorta]. / Primenenie magnito-rezonansnoi tomografii v diagnostike anevrizmy briushnoi chasti aorty.

The age anatomy of the abdominal aorta (AA) was studied up using magnetic-resonance tomography (MRT) in 60 patients aging 55-75 years old with diseases of vertebral column and spinal cord. The method advantages were established in diagnosis of the AA aneurysm in 32 patients, aging 55-74 years, for the thrombi detection in aneurysm, for estimation of renal, upper mesenterial and iliac arteries, truncus coeliacus state.
