RESUMO

Objective To investigate the characteristics of the colon polyp in a northwest district of China. Methods 112 cases of patients from 1~18 years old, diagnosed with polyps by means of colonoscopies reference centers were followed-up from January 2015 to December 2016. The clinical variables evaluated in this study included: gender, age, symptoms, age at onset of symptoms, age at identification of the polyp, interval of time between the onset of symptoms and the endoscopic diagnosis of colonic polyps, and family history of colon polyp and/or colorectal cancer. The characteristics of the polyps also included: number, morphological type, diameter, histology, and distribution. The case records of these patients were reviewed. The demographics, clinical course, laboratory results, endoscopic and histopathological features, treatments, and outcomes were analyzed. Results In the 112 patients, the median age was 6.9 years, of which 64.3% (72/112) were male. All the patient had the symptom of hematochezia and just a little of the patients have the symptoms of abdominal pain, prolapse of anal polyp and diarrhea. 9.8% (11/112) was mild anemia and the anemia patient all had the symptom of hematochezia of more than 6 months and have no connection with the polyp location. Juvenile polyps were identified in 91.9% (103/112) patients, inflammatory polyp were identified in 7.1% (8/112) and 0.9% (1/112) were identified with adenoma. 1.8% (2/112) of the patient had the family history of colorectal polyp. Conclusions The morbidity of colorectal polyp in children and adolescents in our region is high. The male was significantly more common seen than female. A little proportion of the patient had the family history of colorectal polyp. The hematochezia could be seen in all patients A little proportion of the patient was mild anemia and the anemia patient all had the symptom of hematochezia of more than 6 months. Mainly the polyp was located in the rectum and sigmoid. Juvenile polyps were the major pathologic type and then the inflammatory polyp and adenoma. The adenoma may located in other place than rectum and sigmoid.

RESUMO

A method for simultaneous detection of multi-mycotoxins in ten kinds of common dried fruits was been exploited by using ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The edible part of dried fruits was ground up with certain quantity of water. The mash was extracted by 10 mmol/L citric acid-acetonitrile, purified by C18 column, and filtered using 0. 22-μm organic filtration. All the sixteen mycotoxins were well separated in 8 min on ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 column with acetonitrile as phase A and 10 mmol/L ammonium acetate solution containing 0. 1% formic acid as mobile phase B. Result showed that the limits of detection ( LODs) for the sixteen mycotoxins were 0. 01-1. 00 μg/L, with linearity range of 1-200 μg/L and correlation coefficients above 0 . 9981 . The average recoveries of the sixteen mycotoxins in ten matrices were 70. 48% -118. 85%, and the relative standard deviation ( RSD, n=6 ) was 0. 3% -11. 9%. This economical, fast, simple and efficient method could be used for simultaneous detection of multi-mycotoxins in different dried fruits matrixes.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To prepare andrographolide phospholipid compound, optimize its formulation technology and charac-terizeit. METHODS:Andrographolide phospholipid compound was prepared with solvent method. Using compound rate as index, the effects of reaction solvent, reaction time, reaction temperature, drug concentration, the ratio of reactants and other single fac-tors on compound rate were investigated. The ratio of reactants, reaction temperature and drug concentration were optimized by or-thogonal test and validated. The dissolubilities of andrographolide, andrographolide phospholipid physical mixture and androgra-pholide phospholipid compound in water, soybean oil and Lauroglycol FCC were compared and characterized with UV and DSC. RESULTS:The optimal preparation technology was tetrahydrofuran as reaction solvent, reaction time of 4 h,reaction temperature of 50 ℃,drug concentration of 10 mg/ml,ratio of andrographolide to phospholipid 1:3. The compound rate of andrographolide phospholipid compound was 83.2%(n=3). Compared with raw material and physical mixture, phospholipid compound significant-ly improved the dissolubility of andrographolide in water, soybean oil and Lauroglycol FCC. UV and DSC showed that compound had been prepared. CONCLUSIONS:Andrographolide phospholipid compound is prepared successfully.

RESUMO

Some research on intelligent non-invasive temporary pacemakers is introduced in this paper. An industrial computer, some IC chips and other elements are used to construct its hardware, and its software is in C++ language. The experimental device has some intelligent functions of recognizing some arrhythmia. The system has a pacemaker module and an ECG monitor module. Its software includes a main program, a RS-232C communication program, a printer VxD, a pacing control VxD and ECG signal pretreatment and recognizing program and so on. The pacing-generating circuit is employed to make the precision control of pacing current. The communication between industrial-computer system and ECG module is completed through the DLL. The real time processing of ECG signals is based on filter method for a higher recognizing ratio. The system calculates several parameters to recognize certain arrhythmia and uses MIT/BIH database to validate the reliability of ECG recognition.

RESUMO

Mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) have been previously used as feeder cells to support the growth of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs). In this study, human adult uterine endometrial cells (hUECs), human adult breast parenchymal cells (hBPCs) and embryonic fibroblasts (hEFs) were tested as feeder cells for supporting the growth of hESCs to prevent the possibility of contamination from animal feeder cells. Cultured hUECs, hBPCs and hEFs were mitotically inactivated and then plated. hESCs (Miz-hES1, NIH registered) initially established on mouse feeder layers were transferred onto each human feeder layer and split every 5 days. The morphology, expression of specific markers and differentiation capacity of hESCs adapted on each human feeder layer were examined. On hUEC, hBPC and hEF feeder layers, hESCs proliferated for more than 90, 50 and 80 passages respectively. Human feeder-based hESCs were positive for stage-specific embryonic antigen (SSEA)-3 and -4, and Apase; they also showed similar differentiation capacity to MEF-based hESCs, as assessed by the formation of teratomas and expression of tissue-specific markers. However, hESCs cultured on hUEC and hEF feeders were slightly thinner and flatter than MEF- or hBPC-based hESCs. Our results suggest that, like MEF feeder layers, human feeder layers can support the proliferation of hESCs without differentiation. Human feeder cells have the advantage of supporting more passages than when MEFs are used as feeder cells, because hESCs can be uniformly maintained in the undifferentiated stage until they pass through senescence. hESCs established and/or maintained under stable xeno-free culture conditions will be helpful to cell-based therapy.

RESUMO

AIM: To study the analgesic effect and toxicity of Weifu qitong Capsule (Rhizoma Corydalis, cortex Magnoliae Officinalis, Radix Aucklandiae, etc.) to provide experimental data for its clinical application. METHODS: The analgesic effect of Weifu qitong Capsule was assessed by hot-plate test and writhing test, its acute and subacute toxicity studies were also conducted. RESULTS: Taking high dose of Weifu qitong Capsule, after 4.5 h (6.249 g/kg) WFQC could increase pain threshold in hot-plate test. Taking low, middle or high dose of WFQC after 2 h, WFQC could significantly extend writhing latent period and decrease writhing frequency (P
