RESUMO

Based on a 5-point stencil and three 3-point stencils, a nonlinear multi-order weighted method adaptive to 5-3-3-3 stencils for shock capturing is presented in this paper. The form of the weighting function is the same as JS (Jiang-Shu) weighting; however, the smoothness indicator of the 5-point stencil adopts a special design with a higher-order leading term similar to the τ in Z weighting. The design maintains that the nonlinear weights satisfy sufficient conditions for the scheme to avoid degradation even near extreme points. By adjusting the linear weights to a specific value and using the τ in Z weighting, the method can be degraded to Z weighting. Analysis of linear weights shows that they do not affect the accuracy in the smooth region, and they can also adjust the resolution and discontinuity-capturing capability. Numerical tests of different hyperbolic conservation laws are conducted to test the performance of the newly designed nonlinear weights based on the weighted compact nonlinear scheme. The numerical results show that there are no obvious oscillations near the discontinuity, and the resolution of both the discontinuity and smooth regions is better than that of Z weights.

RESUMO

Detoxification of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) to 4-aminophenol (4-AP) with high efficiency and dynamic performance is challenging for a polymeric catalyst. Herein, a series of conjugated microporous polyanilines (CMPAs), capable of efficiently catalytically reducing 4-NP, were synthesized based on the Buchwald-Hartwig cross-coupling reaction mechanism. By adjusting the types of linkers and the molar ratios of linker to core, CMPAs with different Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface areas and reduction degrees were obtained and used as the catalysts in reducing 4-NP. The ultrahigh catalytic reduction efficiency (K = 141.32 s-1 g-1, kapp = 0.00353 s-1) was achieved when using CMPA-3-0.7 as the catalyst (prepared with 4,4'-diaminodiphenylamine as the linker and a 0.7:1 molar ratio of linker to core). The catalytic reduction performance exhibited a strong correlation with the reduction degree and BET specific surface area of CMPAs. Furthermore, they also exhibit excellent cycling stability and dynamic performance. The coexistence of a microporous structure and high BET specific surface area endowed CMPAs with an increased number of catalytic active centers. The reversible redox transformation of CMPAs in the presence of NaBH4 and air enabled self-healing (the oxidation units in CMPAs were reduced to reduction units by NaBH4, and the newly generated reduction unit in CMPAs was subsequently oxidized to its original state by the O2 in the air), leading to the reduction reaction of 4-NP proceeded continuously and stably. The aforementioned factors resulted in the high efficiency of CMPAs for reducing 4-NP to 4-AP, enhancing the practical application prospects of CMPAs in the detoxification of 4-NP wastewater.

RESUMO

Strong viscous interaction and multiple flow regimes exist when vehicles fly at high altitude and high Mach number conditions. The Navier-Stokes(NS) solver is no longer applicable in the above situation. Instead, the direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method or Boltzmann model equation solvers are usually needed. However, they are computationally more expensive than the NS solver. Therefore, it is of great engineering value to establish the aerodynamic prediction model of vehicles at high altitude and high Mach number conditions. In this paper, the hypersonic aerodynamic characteristics of an X38-like vehicle in typical conditions from 70 km to 110 km are simulated using the unified gas kinetic scheme (UGKS), which is applicable for all flow regimes. The contributions of pressure and viscous stress on the force coefficients are analyzed. The viscous interaction parameters, Mach number, and angle of attack are used as independent variables, and the difference between the force coefficients calculated by UGKS and the Euler solver is used as a dependent variable to establish a nonlinear viscous interaction model between them in the range of 70-110 km. The evaluation of the model is completed using the correlation coefficient and the relative orthogonal distance. The conventional viscous interaction effect and rarefied effect are both taken into account in the model. The model can be used to quickly obtain the hypersonic aerodynamic characteristics of X38-like vehicle in a wide range, which is meaningful for engineering design.
