The authors presented a case of rare skull base tumor complicated by rhinorrhoea. Diagnostic procedures and surgical treatment by laryngo-neurosurgical team was described.

A case of neurofibromatosis type 1 in 15 years old boy is presented. Recurrent intracranial bleedings, epileptic seizures and brain abscess were the main manifestations of the disease. The authors suggest that hamartomatous cerebral lesion with vascular abnormalities might be responsible for such a picture of the disease.

The authors present 3 cases of mild head trauma diagnosed by CT, EEG and SPECT. The results showed that CT scan was negative in all cases while SPECT was positive. EEG recording showed changes which seemed to agree with the changes of regional cerebral blood flow presented by SPECT. This initial results indicate that SPECT HM-PAO within the first two-three days is more sensitive than CT scan and detects brain perfusion abnormalities.

In 30 patients aged 41-68 with peripheral tumors of lung bronchofiberoscopy, BAL, sputum cytology and thin needle biopsy (TNB) were evaluated. It was found very high sensitivity and specificity of TNB in recognition of peripheral tumors of lung.
