RESUMO

Ninety-three patients with acute myocardial infarction were examined. They were divided into 2 groups: 1) those with early postmyocardial infarction angina pectoris and 2) those without it. The autonomic nervous system was studied by exploring its segmental and suprasegmental regions. The autonomic tone was evaluated by variance intervalometry. The test of human lymphocytic rosette formation and bovine red blood cells sensitized with glutaric aldehyde and loaded epinephrine was applied to estimate the adrenoception. The sympathetic tone and tissue adrenoceptor density were found to be higher in patients with early postinfarction angina than in those without it. The finding may be useful in predicting early postinfarction angina in patients with acute myocardial infarction.

RESUMO

The character of changes in autonomic heart regulation in response to the cold test has prognostic value in patients with unstable angina pectoris. The probability of development of myocardial infarction and sudden death is higher in patients with high sympathetic reactivity than in those with low sympathetic reactivity. Central hemodynamic changes have a multivariational pattern and have no prognostic value.

RESUMO

Healthy men, representatives of the indigenous population and newcomers, have some differences on the part of the vegetative and cardiovascular system. The newcomers mostly show coronary atherosclerosis and predominance of the tone of the ergotropic system. The cardio- and hemodynamic differences manifest by more pronounced shifts on making orthostatic and exercise tests, by an appreciable rise of myocardial contractility and energy expenditure for blood translocation.
