[The efficacy of high-intensity laser irradiation in the combined treatment of patients with esophageal candidiasis]. / Effektivnost' vysokointensivnogo lazernogo oblucheniia v kompleksnom lechenii bol'nykh kandidozom pishchevoda.

High-intensity impulse laser radiation proved effective in 23 patients with esophageal candidiasis. The highest effect was achieved in its use with nistatin. In low laser efficacy radiation should be combined with transendoscopic administration of granulocytes concentrate. This produced clinico-endoscopic remission in 98.3% of the cases.

[Microcirculatory disorders in patients with long-term nonhealing stomach ulcers]. / Narushenie mikrotsirkuliatsii u bol'nykh s dlitel'no nezazhivaiushchimi iazvami zheludka.

The state of systemic microcirculation according to data of biomicroscopy of the bulbar conjunctiva blood vessels was evaluated in 124 patients with prolonged nonhealing gastric ulcer and in 49 them microcirculation in the ulcer zone was assessed. It was shown that both the general and the local microcirculation showed essential disorders in this category of patients. This favoured a torpid course of the disease and requires to be considered in the treatment strategy.

The authors investigated the mechanism of recurrent course of chronic gastric erosions. It was established that of essential importance in the recurring course of the disease is the pathological microflora, disorders of humoral immunity and local microcirculation leading to prolonged existence of a fibrinoid necrosis zone.

[Complex treatment of patients with non-healing stomach ulcers using hyperbaric oxygenation]. / Kompleksnoe lechenie bo'lnykh s dlite'lno nezazhivaiushchimi iazvami zheludkas primeneniem giperbaricheskoi oksigenatsii.

The possibilities of local therapy used together with hyperbaric oxygenation were studied in patients with persistent gastric ulcers. The most effective in combined therapy of these patients was local administration of granulocyte concentrate and the use of hyperbaric oxygenation because of the action on the basic pathogenetic links such as impairment of the local and systemic microcirculation and pathological microflora.

[Comparative evaluation of various methods of treating patients with esophageal candidiasis]. / Sravnitel'naia otsenka razlichnykh metodov lechneniia bol'nykh kandidozom pishchevoda.

The effectiveness of treatment of candidiasis of the esophagus by different methods and preparations (nystatin, amphotericin B, donor leukocytic mass) was compared in 34 patients. Local application of amphotericin B and donor leukocytic mass was found the most effective in the combined treatment of candidiasis of the esophagus.
