RESUMO

The efficiency of purification of oil contaminated loamy chernozem by the preparation "Ekolan-M" was investigated. During 12 months a complex soil bioremediation using the preparation and alfalfa, as the land-improving plant, at the final stage of purification resulted in the reduction of hydrocarbon content by 97.0%, and without the preparation - by 65.5 %. In the version of experiment with the preparation a 100% decrease of soil phytotoxicity was achieved and a significant stimulation of plant growth and development was observed. The process of soil purification was accompanied by intensive development of hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms, the amount of which during the process of oil concentration gradually decreased, approaching the level in the control uncontaminated soil.

RESUMO

The influence of high concentrations of motor oils (MO) and additives to them on the growth of strains Dietzia maris UKM Ac-205, Gordonia rubripertincta UKM Ac-179 and Rhodococcus erythropolis UKM Ac-50 as well as the ability of these actinobacteria to destruction of different MO brands were investigated. It was shown that all strains were resistant to the used motor oils but showed sensitivity to fresh (unused) MO and additives containing zinc dithiophosphate. The oil "Esso Ultra" which had minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) within 200-400 mg/ml and the antiwear additive Multadit OB (MIC = 4-10 mg/ml) were most toxic for actinobacteria. It is established that the level of MO degradation at initial concentration of 10 g/l was 25.5-56.0% for 5 days. The studied strains utilized paraffine-naphthene (49.0-61.0%) better than aromatic (18.1-22.5%) and resinous-asphaltene (12.1-18.8%) fractions of motor oils.

RESUMO

Basing on the anatomotopographic relationship between the head of the pancreas and the duodenum, and on their common blood supply, the authors have developed an original technique for recording the rheogram of the pancreas. Using a tube with two electrodes, introduced similarly as for routine duodenal exploration, rheograms of 31 normal subjects have been recorded. Computer processing of these rheograms has made it possible to derive a polynomial including 9 signs, describing the pancreatic circulation. The method is simple, informative, available for any clinic, brings highly significant results.

RESUMO

The activity of key glycolysis enzymes (hexokinase, glucose-6-phosphatase, phosphofructokinase, fructose-diphosphatase and ketose-1-phosphate aldolase) in the kidney tissue and its subcellular structures was studied in normal rats and in rats with experimental acute renal insufficiency. It is established that considerable biochemical changes in the kidney tissues affecting all the elements of cellular structures occur under acute lesion of the kidneys. The activity of the enzymes under study under acute renal insufficiency lowers to a greater extent in those subcellular structures of the kidneys where they are mainly localized. The arising disturbances in permeability of the kidneys cellular membranes intensify the release of the mentioned enzymes to blood serum and urine, that in its turn disturbs the coordination of certain glycolysis stages.

RESUMO

Formation of plasmin was studied when treating the human diluted blood plasma with kaolin in acid medium. The activity of the formed enzyme was determined quantitatively from the splitting of protamin sulphate, fibrin and fibrinogen. Dependence of plasminogen activation on time of plasma incubation with kaolin and on temperature as well as the effect of proteinases inhibitors on the plasmin activity are studied.

RESUMO

The activity of hexokinase, glycose-6-phosphatase, phosphofructokinase, fructose diphosphate aldolase and ketose-1-phosphate aldolase was studied in kidneys, blood serum and urine or rats, the proximal and distal areas of their nephron being affected with the chemical substances. A pronounced decrease in the activity of the mentioned enzymes in the renal tissue was greater with afection of the nephron proximal area. The activity of the mentioned enzymes in urine, vice versa, increases sharply and in blood serum it was almost unchanges (exception for keto-1-phosphate aldolase). The pronounced enzyme uria may reflect the deep changes in epithelium cells of canals, especially of proximal ones where the enzymes under study are mainly localized.

RESUMO

Activities of both aldolases were distinctly decreased in acute kidney insufficiency, caused by administration of uranyl acetate. The decrease in the activity of fructose-1,6-diphosptate aldolase was more distinct which led to alteration in ratio between fructose -1,6-diphosphate and ketose-1-phosphate aldolases. The isozyme spectra of the enzymes were also altered. Isozymes of fructose-1,6-diphosphate aldolase AB2 and of ketose-1-phosphate aldolase form 22 possessed the same electrophoretic mobility but their relative activity was increased 2-3-fold under conditions of the acute kidney insufficiency. At the same time, the more electrophoretically mobile isozymes were not detected.
