RESUMO

The rapid growth of digital financial services especially during the COVID-19 outbreak, is a factor accelerating the use of online loan applications that inevitably require the knowledge of digital finance. This study used the behavior change theory and digital financial literacy to identify relevant and correlated variables to confirm positive motivational factors on digital financial skills and capability. Structure equation modeling (SEM) and path analysis were applied to find the correlation and confirm the proposed hypotheses presented. There were 400 samples of small entrepreneurs from different provinces, and online questionnaires were used for data collection. The findings showed that the knowledge and motivation variables were related and had a positive effect. It contributes to continuously building up the skills and capabilities of small entrepreneurs who need to develop their capabilities in digital financial literacy adequately in line with the changes in business and technology after the outbreak of COVID-19. This concept can apply to online loan policy for small entrepreneurs trained with motivating courses who accepted digital finance literacy's usefulness.

RESUMO

From the COVID-19 pandemic, e-government is a crucial tool in managing crisis and coping with change through communication and collaboration between the government, private, and civil sectors. The objective of this study was to develop an e-government development success model from the perspective of Thai citizens using integrated multiple concepts and to examine factors affecting the behavioral intention of citizens in e-government. A sample is Thai people in all regions of Thailand (n = 540) and analyzes by Structural Equation Model (SEM). The hypothesis testing found that factors directly influencing behavioral intention were information quality, system quality, service quality, citizen satisfaction, perceived usefulness, computer self-efficacy, and trust in government. Trust in government was the most direct influencing factor and was the mediating variable between perceived privacy and perceived security leading to behavioral intention. The results will benefit governments in developing e-government to drive the digital economy and society further.

RESUMO

Amidst the Coronavirus crisis, many fundraising projects have emerged to relieve financial burdens resulting from social distancing policies. Crowdfunding is a way to raise money to fund a business, project or charity, through either social media or other online platforms to reach hundreds of potential sponsors. We developed guidelines for effective donation-based crowdfunding through online platforms. Using Futures Research (FR) technique, we conducted our analyses in 3 phases. In Phase 1, we reviewed relevant literature and conducted in-depth interviews of related parties. In Phase 2, we interviewed experts using Ethnographic Futures Research (EFR) technique. In Phase 3, we visualized the future using the principles of Futures Wheel, Cross-impact Matrix and Scenarios. Based on our findings, effective donation-based crowdfunding platforms should adopt Blockchain technology for transparency and accountability, and incentivize donations to keep backers loyal. Founders should be required to obtain fundraising licenses from relevant regulators. Finally, laws and regulations that protect platform users should be standardized internationally. Our proposed guidelines hope to improve the quality and transparency of future fundraising activities.

RESUMO

The economic system of Thailand is predicated on cooperation between parties that are affected by economic decisions, partnerships between public and private entities, and robust relationships in the local community to foster sustainable development. Economic development in Thailand is managed by the community and government with support from the business sector. The economic system of Thailand aims to balance three conceptual pillars that can be described as 'social, economic, and environmental' dimensions. However, there is a lack of tools for data analysis and the evaluation of community well-being and economic functioning that can be applied to all relevant situations independent of external factors. In this paper, these authors produced an information analysis and evaluation model of the local economy (IAEM) that is based on the application of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Data were collected using a questionnaire that was evaluated by experts regarding the project's capacity to meet economic, social, and environmental development goals according to the SEP for SDGs, which demonstrated a reliability of 0.88. For our statistical analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Decision Matrix Analysis, K-Means, Percentage, and Average were performed for the analysis of data. The results showed that the SEP has a significant relationship to the SDGs at 89.60% (R2 = 0.896, p < 0.001). IAEM provides a framework for analysis and evaluation of the local economy in six clusters that consist of water resources (WAT), human capacities and capabilities (HUM), economic stability (ECO), healthy communities (HEA), climate change (CLI), and the agricultural sector (AGR). Our results indicate that the IAEM can be used for the analysis and evaluation of the sustainability of a local economy based on the three pillars. The IAEM can be applied to policies and projects in sustainable development at each level of the local economy based on the SEP in a partnership with SDGs; this observation suggests that more implementation of development projects in accordance with the SEP will lead to increased development towards SDGs based on the three dimensions outlined.
