RESUMO

The metoropathological analysis of 958 fatal lung embolisms in the territory of Rostock does not make notice of special relation of the summer, preparing the material acc. to the both main seasons. In winter the fine weather phases 1-4 and normal radiation conditions result in a significant increase of the rate of mortality. A special endangering seams to occur after a period of dark weather at the transition to a period of light weather (weather phase 1).

RESUMO

A long-term investigation of 20 juvenile patients indicated a great seasonal and interdiurnal variation of the gingival temperature, which had a trend to a high interindividual correlation. The absolute individual differences was upto 2 degrees C. The lower jaw had a higher temperature than the upper jaw. The temperature of the right and left sides of the jaw differed from each other. The calculation of a standard temperature is only useful, when it is related to the individual sublingual temperature.

RESUMO

Day-light stimulates the endocrine glands about the biological clock. The annual variation of day-length and brightness lead to uni-modal annual rhythms of morbidity, mortality and physiological parameters too. Meteoropathological disturbances show an antagonistic influence of interdiurnal variations of day-light. In summer-time the seldom dark days and in winter-time the seldom bright days induce such phenomena. Another antagonistic influence of day-light is reflected by a bi-modal annual and by an about 14-days-rhythm. Upper-waves of annual rhythms with frequencies between 7 and 35 days can be synchronized by strong interdiurnal changes of day-light for man living in the same geographical region. The results as a whole may be explained by interdiurnal and seasonal modifications of human diurnal rhythms in form of changing phase-differences of two or more circadian oscillators.

RESUMO

By simultaneous registration of individual dose of natural UV radiation and clinical determination of variation of skin lesions of patients with psoriasis vulgaris was derived a good correlation between both parameters. Furthermore, there were large differences in utilization of UV-light by patients. There are great reserves of a more effective therapy with solar radiation.
