RESUMO

Objective - to justify the use of hip endoprosthesis techniques in dysplastic coxarthrosis depending on the type of dysplasia according to Crowe JF. The study is based on the analysis of hip replacement in 390 patients with dysplastic coxarthrosis, who underwent 436 endoprosthetics. There were 192 patients with type 1 dysplasia according to Crowe, type II - 142, type III - 38 and type IV - 18 patients. The age of patients ranged from 15 to 61 years and averaged 43 years. Pathology was prevalent in women, which accounted for 90 %. Preference was given to prostheses with a cementless type of fixation, which accounted for 89 %. An important task of the surgeon during hip replacement in patients with dysplastic coxarthrosis is to install the acetabulum component of the prosthesis in an anatomical position in compliance with the recommendations of spatial location, especially in types III and IV of dysplasia. Endoprosthetics in types 1 and II of hip dysplasia did not present any difficulties. The amount of bone tissue of the acetabulum of the pelvis is sufficient for the use of cups with primary press-fit fixation. Usually, acetabular components of small size were used. In type III dysplasia, there was a significant deficit of bone tissue of the anterior, posterior columns and acetabular roof. In such cases, bone grafting is used. Shortening of the limb in type III dysplasia, as a rule, does not exceed 4 cm, so the surgery may be performed in one stage and without a shortening osteotomy. In type IV dysplasia with shortening of the lower limb to 4 cm, a single stage endoprosthetics is performed it is possible to perform a shortening osteotomy of the proximal femur. Іn patients with a unilateral process and shortening of the limb more than 4 centimeters, we used the two-stage surgery method. At the first stage, we applied a rod device for external fixation with the introduction of rods into the pelvis and hip, then gradually performed hip traction in order to lower the femoral head to the level of the acetabulum, after which the device was dismantled and at the second stage hip replacement was performed. The acetabular component in hip replacement in Crowe type III or IV dysplasia should be placed in the anatomical position of the acetabulum. If the cranial displacement of the femoral head is less than 4 cm, hip replacement should be performed in one stage. In a unilateral cranial displacement of the femoral head of more than 4 cm, in order to avoid neurovascular bundle traction damage and facilitate the reduction of the prosthesis, preparation should be performed with the reduction of the femoral head to the level of the anatomical acetabulum using an external fixation rod device. It is possible to use a shortening osteotomy of the proximal femur, but then the length of the limb is not restored.

RESUMO

Combining diagnostic and therapeutic functions in one agent is a promising strategy in the development of personalized approaches to the treatment of cancer. The opportunity to combine diagnostics and therapy appeared with the development of nanobiotechnologies and was realized in the concept of theranostics. To date, a number of promising agents based on nanomaterials capable of diagnosing, targeted therapeutic effects, and monitoring the response of tumor cells were obtained within the approach of theranostics. In this work, a new type of theranostic complexes based on upconversion nanoparticles coated with polyethylene glycol and functionalized with the DARPin-LoPE recombinant targeted toxin was developed. Selective binding of complexes to human breast adenocarcinoma cells overexpressing the HER2 receptor and specific toxicity to them were shown.

RESUMO

Violation of the formation of menstrual function in adolescent girls of the puberty is a widespread phenomenon, that is greatly affected with age-related aspects. Since the factors affecting the body will be forming the anthropometric and somatotypological indicators of the body of girls differently, it is therefore advisable to divide them according to narrow age categories: 12-14 years, 14-15 years. And 16-18 years old. 288 adolescent females were examined, 58 of which with abnormal uterine bleeding were included in the main group, 230 actually healthy girls of the same age were included in the comparison group. General clinical, ultrasound, laboratory, anthropometric, somatotypological and statistical research methods were used. Analysis of the data obtained was carried out using the program "STATISTICA 5.5" using non-parametric methods for evaluating the results. The aim: to predict the development of abnormal uterine bleeding using discriminant function, according to the age categories. Anthropometric, somatotypological and statistical research methods. After examination of girls of different age categories, we obtained results according to which for girls aged 14-15 in predicting the AUB pathognomonic indicators were Mateyko body mass fat component according to Mateyko, transverse lower pit size, circumference of the chest in a state of rest and in a state of maximum exhale, the distal epiphysis of the forearm, the ectomorphic component of the Mateyko according to Heath-Carter, the width of the distal epiphysis of the hip and the external conjugate. Girls of 16-18 years old have relevant indicators such as transverse lower pit size, body mass fat component according to Mateyko, chest circumference in a state of maximum exhale, thickness of the skin-fat fold under the shoulder, on the chest, on the abdomen and side, the width of the distal epiphysis of the femur. Thus, we have characterized the patterns of the occurrence of abnormal uterine bleeding for girls 14-15 y. and 16-18 y.e respectively.

RESUMO

It has been found that long-term electromagnetic shielding (19 hours per day for 10 days) leads to an increase in the duration of passive swimming time in male rats, decrease the duration of active swimming in the "forced swim" test as well as decrease of libido. On the other hand animals kept under the "open field" conditions do not show significant deviations from their normal behavior. Therefore, one could conclude that moderate electromagnetic shielding causes a depression-like state in rats.

RESUMO

Sanitary and hygienic state of the Baltic navy ships in the 18th century was considered as unsatisfactory due to inappropriate habitation conditions answering hygienic requirements. The reason for the low ship habitation of that time was limited technological possibilities of the sail shipbuilding, lack of appropriate labour, and life and rest conditions for navy servicemen. In fact, wooden ships were not suitable for life activity of the navy crew, but contributed to disease increase. Because of the rapid development of the' navy hygiene and improvement of shipbuilding technologies, sanitary and hygienic state of local navy ships had became improving. With a glance on recommendations, developed by physicians D.P.Sinopeus and A.G.Bakherakht, were made following improvements: were implemented ventilators on ships, daily fumigation of ships rooms, monitoring of personal hygiene.
