RESUMO

The study allowed establishing imbalance of immune system during orthodontic appliance treatment. It follows in 1, 5 month after fixation of appliance and in the final period of treatment (15 months after fixation of breakers). These can be considered "critical" and it is necessary to make immune-correctional therapy and to prescribe measures of caries prevention.

RESUMO

Rhythms of functional activity of mast cells were studied in frontal, parietal and occipital areas of dura mater of mature rats. Chronological organization of mast cells dura mater was established. Circadian component dominated in all rhythms studied. Local peculiarities of mast cells rhythms were established; frontal area cells displayed most significant oscillations per day. They also showed maximum values of average day number and acrophase. Maximum functional activity was demonstrated in mast cells of frontal and parietal region one hour later than in parietal area of dura mater.

Quantitative and qualitative composition of catecholamines (noradrenaline and dophamine) and indolalkylamines (serotonin and tryptamine) and their localization have been studied in cells and neural fibers of the rat dura mater. Luminiscent-cytophotometric and electron microscopic methods have revealed two types of cells depositing biogenic monoamines. As demonstrate the experiments with rausedil injection, monoaminocytes of the first type (mast cells) contain predominantly indolalkylamines and a small amount of dophamine. Monoaminocytes of the second type (chromaffin cells) synthesize mainly serotonin and, perhaps, tryptamine. In adrenergic neural fibers only noradrenaline has been found to be present.

RESUMO

The Falk-Hillarp method was used to study circadian activity of the rat dura mater mast cells and the content of monoamines in them. The quantitative changes in the mast cells are described as time-dependent. The data obtained were statistically analyzed to disclose the latent periodicity of the processes occurring in the mast cells. A twenty-four-hour cycle of the cell activity was discovered. Two functional states of the mast cells were distinguished: (a) the maximum of degranulating mast cells was recorded at noon; (b) the maximum of intact fat cells was seen at 3 p. m.
