[Substantiation of the program of realization of bases of the state policy of a healthy nutrition of population of the Samara Region for the period till 2020 year].

Substantiate the need for long-term program of sanitation the diet of the population of the Samara Region. A systemic analysis of actual nutrition of different population groups in the region showed an excessive consumption of fats and added sugar--the main risk factors of obesity, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus. The risks of inadequate consumption of vitamins B, calcium, iron, caused by the irrational combination of the foodstuff use, are revealed.

[Treatment of depression in patients with myocardial infarction with tianeptine].

AIM: To study efficacy and acceptability of tianeptine in treatment of depression in patients with myocardial infarction (MI). MATERIAL AND METHODS: A group of 416 patients (253 men and 163 women) from 35 till 89 years old with MI was studied. Depression was diagnosed in 113 of them (27.2 %) by the use of Zung depression scale and CD-10 criteria. Tianeptine treatment was given to 55 patients (25-37.5 mg/day for 3.3 months), 58 patients were in control group. RESULTS: Tianeptine treatment of depression in patients with MI in 3-7 days led to decrease of feeling of depression and lowering of anxiety. Depression decreased in 9.4% patients of this group in 2 months. After 2 months depression was diagnosed in 55.7 % of patients who did not receive the antidepressant. During 1 year patients, who were treated by tianeptine, had 31% lower number of hospitalizations due to exacerbations of cardiovascular diseases. Patients had a good tolerance of tianeptine treatment independently of age. CONCLUSION: Tianeptine treatment of depression in patients with MI is effective, safe, well tolerated by patients and allows to decrease number of hospitalizations because of complications of cardiovascular diseases during 1 year.

[Possibilities provided by chronopuncture in treatment of arterial hypertension in the young].

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-hypertensive therapy with application of chronopuncture as a non-drug method of arterial pressure correction in patients with essential hypertension (EH). An offered and introduced utility model was applied. Its application leads to achievement of maximal anti-hypertensive effect of reflexotherapy, which shortens the treatment and increases the effectiveness of acupuncture in treatment of EH.

[Spatial vector electrocardiography: technique, perspectives of use]. / Prostranstvennaia vektorélektrokardiografiia.

Potentials of the use of computer synthesis of integral electrical vector of the heart D0 are described. Calculation of spatial angular vector velocity and linear velocity of its movement along trajectory can be carried out in a framework of biophysical dipole model. Spatial presentation of vector is realized and its behavior in accordance with established pathologies discussed. Possible diagnostic value of obtained results and utility of their introduction into clinical practice are stressed.

[Ultrasonic criteria of chronic pyelonephritis]. / Ul'trazvukovye kriterii khronicheskogo pielonefrita.

Ultrasonic investigation of the kidneys in B-regimen was made in 45 patients with chronic pyelonephritis and mild, moderate and severe arterial hypertension aged 40-60 years. Renal function was intact in all the patients. The results give evidence of a considerable informative value of ultrasonic scanning in diagnosis of chronic pyelonephritis and of moderate correlation between changes of echoparameters in patients with chronic pyelonephritis and severity of arterial hypertension. These relations are significantly reflected by such biometric renal indices as a relative volume of the renal sinus and renal parenchymal index.

Plasma levels of malone dialdehyde (MDA) were measured in flyers of various professional categories and persons who had no flight experience in normal conditions and shortly after a hypobaric hypoxia trial (30 min., P = 405 mm Hg, ascent and descent at 15-20 m/s), and after 24 hours of reoxygenation. In essentially healthy and highly adapted to periodic hypoxia flyers of the military transport aviation MDA remained within the normal range whereas in some subjects without flight experience displayed a significant increase in MDA levels during hypoxia and/or reoxygenation. Elevated baseline values and a material rise in MDA were also found in flyers whose blood bilirubin was above 20 mumol/L. The detoxicating function of the liver was disturbed in this category. A similar instability of the blood MDA is characteristic of subjects with hypertension, cranial traumata and obesity.

Data are submitted on the time course of immunologic indices in 50 patients with myocardial infarction (MI) presenting with complication-free course, and 58 patients with MI complicated by thromboendocarditis. Important changes were revealed in the immune status--both cellular and humoral--during the development of thrombosis of the left ventricle secondary to MI. The cellular immunity was characterized by a decline in the levels of T-lymphocytes, particularly those of T-suppressors, augmentation of B-lymphocytes. Thrombosis evolving in MI was associated with changes in humoral immunity, such as persistent and lasting rise in immunoglobulins of all classes, especially Ig G, as well as combinations thereof, together with the increase in the content of circulating immune complexes.

[Function of the kallikrein-kinin and prostaglandin systems of the kidneys in patients with chronic pyelonephritis]. / Sostoianie kallikrein-kininovoi i prostaglandinovoi sistemy pochek u bol'nykh khronicheskim pielonefritom.

The activity of the kallikrein-kinin, prostaglandin and cyclase systems was assessed in 117 patients with chronic pyelonephritis with and without arterial hypertension. Pyelonephritis is shown to be associated with a dysfunction of the pressor-depressor mechanisms examined, featuring a depression of vasodepressor reactions. Patients with normal, increased and depressed humoral parameters could be found in each study group, the changes being particularly marked in patients with chronic pyelonephritis, combined with arterial hypertension.

[Acid-stable and acid-labile interferons inducible by the bovine infectious rhinotracheitis virus]. / Kislotostabil'nyi i kislotolabil'nyi interferony, indutsiruemye virusom infektsionnogo rinotrakheita krupnogo rogatogo skota.

Attenuated and virulent strains of cattle infectious rhinotracheitis virus (IRTV) induced in cattle leukocytes the production of both acid-stable and acid-labile interferon. The attenuated IRTV strain induced the production of the acid-labile interferon in spleen and bone marrow cells of BALB/C mice. The indication of the assignment of the acid-labile interferon to the leukocyte-type of interferon consists in the activity of bovine interferon in a heterologous culture of human diploid fibroblasts and a higher interferon titer in bone marrow than in spleen cells (bone marrow cells contain B-cells which produce leukocyte interferon).

[Gas exchange, microcirculation and blood kinins in patients with chronic nonspecific lung diseases]. / Gazoobmen, mikrotsirkuliatsiia i kininy krovi u bol'nykh khronicheskimi nespetsificheskimi zabolevaniiami legkikh.

The state of gas exchange, microcirculation (MC) and blood kinin was examined in 212 patients with chronic non-specific pulmonary diseases (197 with respiratory insufficiency, 15 without it). Noticeable activation of blood kinins with a rise of kallikrein, a decrease in alpha 2-macroglobulin and kinase activity were revealed in patients with respiratory insufficiency (RI), degree I and II, expressed in MC disorder with perivascular and intravascular changes. Kininogesis suppression with a decrease in all indices was noted in patients with RI, degree III, with progressive hypoxemia, hypercapnia, MC disorder in all the links. An insignificant positive time course in the state of gas exchange, MC and blood kinins after therapy was indicative of insufficient efficacy of multiple modality therapy and permitted recommendation of drugs correcting disorders in the above systems.
