RESUMO

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is one of the most abundant epitranscriptomic modifications on eukaryotic mRNA. Evidence has highlighted that m6A is altered in response to inflammation-related factors and it is closely associated with various inflammation-related diseases. Multiple subpopulations of myeloid cells, such as macrophages, dendritic cells, and granulocytes, are crucial for the regulating of immune process in inflammation-related diseases. Recent studies have revealed that m6A plays an important regulatory role in the functional of multiple myeloid cells. In this review, we comprehensively summarize the function of m6A modification in myeloid cells from the perspective of myeloid cell production, activation, polarization, and migration. Furthermore, we discuss how m6A-mediated myeloid cell function affects the progression of inflammation-related diseases, including autoimmune diseases, chronic metabolic diseases, and malignant tumors. Finally, we discuss the challenges encountered in the study of m6A in myeloid cells, intended to provide a new direction for the study of the pathogenesis of inflammation-related diseases.

RESUMO

Two new dimeric 2-(2-phenylethyl)chromones, aquilasinenones L and M (1 and 2), and one new monomer analogue, 5S, 6 R, 7S, 8 R-tetrahydroxy-[2-(3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]- 5,6,7,8-tetrahydrochromone (3), together with two known compounds, were isolated from the artificial agarwood originating from Aquilaria sinensis. Compound 1 was the first structure found with C8-O-C4"' linkage among 2-(2-phenylethyl)chromone dimers. Their structures were unambiguously elucidated based on 1 D and 2 D NMR spectroscopy, as well as by comparison with the literature. The absolute configuration was determined by ECD calculation. None of the compounds exhibited acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity.

RESUMO

In order to study the chemical constituents of n-butanol fraction of ethanol extract from Chinese agarwood induced by artificial holing, various chromatographic techniques were carried out to isolate compounds, and the structures of compounds were determined through a combined analysis of physicochemical properties and spectroscopic evidence. Seven compounds were obtained and identified as selina-3,11-dien-9,15-diol (1), aquilarone D (2), 5α,6ß,7α,8ß-tetrahydroxy-2-[2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrochromone (3), 6,7-dimethoxy-2-[2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]chromone (4), syringin (5), methyl (Z)-p-coumarate (6), and 4'-methoxycinnamic acid (7), among which compound 1 was a new compound and compounds 5-7 were isolated from agarwood for the first time. The bioactivity assay results concluded that compounds 6 and 7 showed certain nematicidal activity against Panagrellus redivivus, and compounds 4, 6 and 7 exhibited cytotoxicity against BEL-7402, SGC-7901 and A549 carcinoma cell lines.

RESUMO

For the current situation of the time background and the cultivation of innovation ability of undergraduates, the problems of fracture classification, function evaluation and postoperative rehabilitation were realized by a software research team which mainly consisted of medical undergrad-uates. We put the project into practice in forms of software production and software promotion trial separately in the field of teaching and clinical practice to encourage students to be involved in learn-ing in the process of software production of professional knowledge. The implementation of the project worked well, and developed the well-designed relevant mobile software which was convenient in clini-cal practice and acquired computer software copyright, indicating that it can effectively motivate the undergraduates' innovation interest and consciousness through participating in the various links and the software production process, and it can also contribute to the cultivation of the comprehensive practical and innovation ability of medical undergraduates.

RESUMO

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To provide an accurate method for osteotomy in the treatment of developmental dysplasia of the hip with steel osteotomy by three-dimensional reconstruction and Reverse Engineering technique.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Between January 2011 and December 2012, 13 children with developmental dysplasia of the hip underwent steel osteotomy. 3D CT scan pelvic images were obtained and transferred via a DICOM network into a computer workstation to construct 3D models of the hip using Materialise Mimics 14.1 software in STL format. These models were imported into Imageware 12.0 software for steel osteotomy simulation until a stable hip was attained in the anatomical position for dislocation or subluxation of the hip in older children. The osteotomy navigational templates were designed according to the anatomical features after a stable hip was reconstructed. These navigational templates were manufactured using a rapid prototyping technique.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The reconstruction hips in these children show good matching property and acetabulum cover.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The computer-aided design of osteotomy template provides personalized and accurate solutions in the treatment of developmental dysplasia of the hip with steel osteotomy in older children.</p>

RESUMO

The title compound, C(31)H(44)N(3)O(10) (+)·Cl(-)·CH(4)O, is the methanol solvate of 8-benzo-yloxy-,9,11,11a-tetra-hydroxy-6,10,13-trimeth-oxy-3-meth-oxy-methyl-1-methyl-tetra-deca-hydro-1H-3,6a,12-(epiethane-1,1,2-tri-yl)-7,9-methanona-phtho[2,3-b]azocin-1-ium chloride, the amine-protonated hydro-chloride of 14-benzoyl-mesaconine hydro-chloride. The cation has an aconitine carbon skeleton with four six-membered rings of which three display chair conformations and one a boat conformation, and two five-membered rings with envelope conformations. In the crystal, the components are connected into an infinite chain by inter- and intra-molecular O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O and O-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds.
