RESUMO

The possible mechanisms of clinical efficacy "sleeve" gastrectomy in patients with obe- sity were analysed. The metabolic effect transactions associated not only with reducing the volume of the stomach, but the acceleration passage of gastric contents of the tube and the small intestinp_

RESUMO

In 2009 in the clinic a biliopancreatic shunting operation with duodenal switch was performed in accordance to D. Hess-P. Marceau method in 26 patients, suffering morbid obesity. First clinical results of operative intervention (the fixed terms of follow-up for 6 months after the operation) were studied in 15 patients. The main complications, the impact of operative intervention on the course of comorbidities, associated with obesity, diseases and metabolic disorders, were analyzed.

RESUMO

Retrospective analysis of the treatment results concerning 272 patients, who have suffered recurrent inguinal hernia and were operated on in the clinic for the period of 1999-2009 yrs, was done. The need for preperitoneal plasty of inguinal canal performance for recurrent inguinal hernia, using extrainguinial access to hernia defect, was noted. This procedure lowers therisk of iatrogenic injury occurrence of anatomic structures of inguinal canal.

RESUMO

Anastomositis and abdominal cavity infiltrate constitutes the most frequent early inflammatory complications, occurring after gastrointestinal operations. The informativity of diagnostic methods of these complications, the volume and efficacy of conservative curative procedures were shown. Introduction of antihomotoxic preparations in complex of treatment measures, in part, of Traumeel C, Lymphomyosot, Mucosa compositum C, Echinacea compositum C had promoted the efficacy raising and the shortening of the treatment duration of these complications.

RESUMO

20 patients with peptic ulcer disease of duodenum were studied. We found that metabolic activity of neutrophils in peripheral blood and in mucosa is the same in patients with complicated peptic ulcer. The absorption activity of tissue neutrophils is higher than in blood. During operation we observed an increase of neutrophils' activity both in blood and mucosa. On the 6th day after operation the response of neutrophils recovered. In patients who undergo conservative treatment for peptic ulcer of duodenum the activity of neutrophils decreased significantly. This emphasizes that immunocorrection treatment is indicated to all patients that receive conservative treatment for peptic ulcer.

RESUMO

There was proposed an operative access to the duct via the lateral end of transverse hepatic fissura, basing on the results of studying of the right hepatic duct anatomy. The method performed includes the right hepatic lobe mobilization, its fibrous capsule transsection along the transverse fissura in the direction toward right posterior sectorial duct, longitudinal transsection of the duct lateral wall along 1-2 cm with subsequent formation of laterolateral hepaticojejunoanastomosis. Method was tested in 9 patients with high damage and cicatricial stricture of biliary ducts, the result was positive.

RESUMO

The rate and dynamics of food movement over the digestive tract was studied with the use of solid markers and small fragments of colored plastic film, in five experimental groups of great gerbils kept on different diets (various combinations of concentrated and cellulose food). The concentrated food moves relatively uniformly over the digestive tract and is fully evacuated within 24-25 h. Addition of various plant objects rich in cellulose to the grain food and feeding of the gerbil on the cellulose food alone lengthened the period of food evacuation up to 50 h. This is due to food differentiation into rapidly and slowly moving portions (the latter are delayed in the prostomach and caecum).

RESUMO

The pattern of contact between small terrestrial mammals and tick-borne encephalitis virus was studied in dependence on year, yearly season and the age of the largest animal populations. The animal-virus contact was assessed by the appearance, persistence and loss of antibodies in the animals examined. A total of 9256 sera of small rodents were collected and tested in this study.

RESUMO

From HEp-2 cells chronically infected with tick-borne encephalitis virus clones were obtained which produced no virus antigens and contained no sequences homologous to virus RNA. Expression of oncornavirus in the system under study was demonstrated. The possibility of transduction of cell genes by a defective virus strain was established. Preliminary experiments showed the possibility of integration of virus genome in tick egg DNA in transovarial transmission.
