RESUMO

The objective of the present work was to study the functional characteristics of the microcirculation system in the women of late reproductive age presenting with chronic endometritis before and after a course of contrast massage. Three types of functional changes in the microcirulation system were distinguished based on the results of laser-assisted Doppler flowmetry. All of them were characterized by high coefficients of correlation with the results of dopplerometry of uterine blood flow and underwent dynamic changes in the course of the treatment. The study has demonstrated the high therapeutic effectiveness of the contrast massage technique as a tool for inducing hemodynamic changes in the small pelvis basin in the women suffering from chronic endometritis.

RESUMO

During the recent years, the multifaceted investigations have been conducted with the purpose of the development and practical application of novel therapeutic and health-promoting technologies with the use of the methods of instrumental physiotherapy. To name but a few, these include optimization of pulsed impacts, realization of immunomodulatory action of various physical factors, introduction of new physico-pharmacological modalities and neurotropic physiotherapy, the use of laser Doppler flowmetry for the estimation of the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic treatment, and elucidation of the influence of physical factors on microcirculation. At present, the main lines along which physiotherapy develops include acquisition of new information necessary to formulate the theoretical basis for instrumental physiotherapy, comprehensive estimation of the influence of the new and traditional preformed physical factors on the general health-maintaining mechanisms (adaptation, compensation), investigations into pathogenesis of various diseases, development of effective therapeutic and health-promoting modalities with the elaboration of indications and contraindications for their prescription, elucidation of the possibility and expediency of joint or combined application of various physical factors. The great importance is attached under present-day conditions to the development of personalized approaches to the choice of physiotherapeutic modality for the treatment of concrete patients on an individual basis taking into consideration the known predictors of efficiency of a given method. One of the most rapidly developing directions is regenerative physiotherapy, i.e., a multidisciplinary branch of biomedicine that studies the mechanisms of action and the effectiveness of natural preformed physical factors for the restoration of damaged tissues and disturbed functions of the organs. Of special value are investigations devoted to the elucidation of the possibilities for the combined application of cellular technologies and physiotherapeutic techniques. However, very much remains to be done for the creation of the scientific basis of biologically controlled (feedback-regulated) physiotherapy. Much attention should be given to the creation of new up-to-date physiotherapeutic instrumentation to be employed for the development of innovative technologies designed to enhance the therapeutic effectiveness of health-promoting, curative, and prophylactic measures in wide clinical practice.

RESUMO

The objective of the present study was to estimate the efficacy of pulsed laser radiation from a matrix radiator for the treatment of patients suffering osteoarthrosis of the knee joint. A total of 25 patients aged from 50 to 75 years with I-II stage gonarthrosis (GA) were enrolled (20 without synovitis and 5 with mild synovitis). Nineteen patients presented with oligoosteoarthrosis and six with polyosteoarthrosis. The state of capillary blood flow was assessed from the results of laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) using a LAKK-01 laser analyzer of surface capillary blood flow (NPP "LAZMA", Russia). Prior to the treatment, all the patients with gonarthrosis had microcirculatory disturbances; based on their character, the patients were allocated to two groups in accordance with the classification proposed by V.I. Makolkin. Group 1 was comprised of the patients (92%) with the hyperemic type of microcirculation while group 2 included patients (8%) with its normnnocirculatory type. A single course of pulsed laser therapy resulted in the appearance of the signs of normalization of capillary blood flow. LDF revealed a physiological response of microvessels to pulsed laser radiation that manifested itself in the first place as the improvement of active mechanisms of regulation of microcirculation.

RESUMO

The objective of the present study was to evaluate effects of mesotherapy (MT) and electrostimulation (EMS) on age-related changes of the facial skin. The secondary objective was to identify factors influencing the therapeutic efficiency of these methods. The study included 60 women aged from 30 to 59 years. All the patients were examined prior to the onset and in the end (after one month) of the corrective treatment. Facial skin conditions were assessed using a Skin XP Pro system and skin microcirculation by laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF). The psychological status of the patients was evaluated with the help of the Well-being-Activity-Mood test. After the primary examination, the participants of the study were randomly divided into two groups. Group 1 (n=30) included women treated by MT and EMS, the control group 2 (n=30) was comprised of the patients who did not receive the above treatment. The results of the study indicate that combine MT + EMS therapy significantly improves the state of facial skin, decreases its pigmentation, reduces the number and depth of wrinkles, enhances skin moisture, improves its elasticity and decreases porosity. Dynamics of these parameters and overall effect of correction were shown to correlate with the severity of skin changes before the treatment. Age-related changes in the facial skin were especially well-apparent in women with the lowered activity level and impaired mood. Characteristics of mood in the course of therapeutic correction correlated with dynamics of skin smoothness and elasticity.

RESUMO

Physical and balneotherapy along with medicamentous and compression therapy are basic components of conservative treatment of patients with chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities. Modern rehabilitative medical technologies help to prevent complications of this pathology, enhance clinical efficiency of the treatment, and improve the patients' quality of life provided they are applied with due regard for the stage of the disease and underlying pathogenetic factors.

RESUMO

The study with the use of laser Doppler flowmetry has revealed pathological changes in the microcirculatory system of patients with arterial hypertension. Their treatment with a low-frequency magnetic field showed that its effect on microcirculation depends on the regime and site of application of magnetotherapy as well as its combination with other physical factors. Frontal application of the magnetic field had the most pronounced beneficial effect on dynamic characteristics of microcirculation. Pulsed regime of magnetotherapy was more efficacious than conventional one. Amplipulse magnetotherapy produced better results than monotherapy.

RESUMO

The paper presents the data on the use of laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) for microcirculation assessment in patients with lower limb angiodysplasias. Preliminary results suggest that LDF can be successfully used both for the quantification of microcirculatory disturbances and for the diagnosis of arterio-venous micro fistulas. LDF was used as a monitoring tool for compressive therapy effectiveness in patients with arterio-venous and venous forms of lower limb angiodysplasias. Compression stockings Relaxsan III class were shown to improve microcirculation in this patient population after 1 month wearing.

RESUMO

Laser Doppler flowmetry discovered microcirculatory disorders in acne patients. Affected are arterioles as well as capillaries and venules. Combination of magnetotherapy with medication improves microcirculation in acne patients. More marked positive changes occurred in the microcirculatory system due to combined treatment compared to medication therapy only. Thus, laser Doppler flowmetry is a new, noninvasive method of assessing microcirculation in acne patients and can serve an objective criterion of treatment efficacy.

RESUMO

The aim of the study was estimation of the effects of laser therapy on microcirculation in osteoarthritis with application of laser doppler flowmetry (LDF). A total of 20 patients were treated. 10 procedures of the laser therapy were performed (Mlada unit, 0.85 micron, 15 mV, 5 min). LDF proved informative in complex estimation of blood microcirculation and efficiency of laser therapy in patients with osteoarthritis.

RESUMO

Based on clinical notes of 40 outpatients with lower extremity vascular atherosclerosis, a positive dynamics of rheographic parameters of peripheral circulation was found from rheovasculography of the shins, muscle blood flow, thermography, to provide the optimal frequency responses of pulse laser radiation for the treatment of the disease. The studies established the optimal frequency of pulse running for infrared laser radiation of 80 Hz.
