RESUMO

The oxidant-controlled divergent synthesis of C-2' formyl 2H-indazoles and indazoloindazolediones has been developed through Mn(I)- catalyzed ortho C-H functionalization of 2H-indazoles with para-formaldehyde to afford C-2' hydroxymethylated 2H-indazoles and subsequently oxidation with varying the amount of DDQ in one-pot. By employing selectfluor as the oxidant instead of DDQ, this reaction exclusively provided indazolebenzoxazine derivatives. This strategy delivered unsymmetrical indazoloindazoledione and indazolobenzoxazine with varied functional group tolerance in moderate to good yields.

RESUMO

An efficient, metal-free, and direct oxidative amination of aldehyde-derived hydrazones with azoles has been developed using 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone as an organocatalyst at ambient temperature. This protocol provides a wide range of aminated hydrazone derivatives in a step and atom economical fashion. The reaction possibly follows a radical mechanism.

RESUMO

A mild, efficient, and one-pot protocol for three-component carbosilylation of alkenes with imidazoheterocycle and silanes has been developed by merging iron(II) and visible-light photocatalysis. This C-C and C-Si bond-forming method provides functionalized organosilicon derivatives having imidazoheterocycles moieties in good yields. The reaction possibly proceeds through a radical pathway.

RESUMO

We report the appearance of nontrivial topological phases in a tight-binding model on the stuffed honeycomb lattice. The model contains nearest neighbor and next nearest neighbor hopping terms coupled with an additional phase depending on the direction of hopping. Chern insulating and semi-metallic phases emerge with the change of hopping parameters. Nonzero Chern numbers characterizing the bands and the existence of topologically protected edge states in the gap between the relevant bands confirm the presence of those phases. We show that adding an extra basis to Haldane's honeycomb model can lead to an additional topological phase characterized by Chern number [Formula: see text]. Transition between different topological phases driven by the hopping parameters has been illustrated in the topological phase diagram of the system. Zero temperature Hall conductivity along with density of states is evaluated. Topological properties of another tight-binding model on the stuffed square lattice are also reported in this article.

RESUMO

Emergence of multiple topological phases with a series of Chern numbers, [Formula: see text]1, [Formula: see text]1, [Formula: see text]2, [Formula: see text]2, [Formula: see text]3 and [Formula: see text]4, is found in a ferromagnetic Kitaev-Heisenberg-spin-anisotropic model on honeycomb lattice with next-next-nearest-neighbor interactions in the presence of an external magnetic field. Magnon Chern insulating dispersions of this two-band model are studied by using linear spin-wave theory formulated on the exact ferromagnetic ground state. Magnon edge states are obtained for the respective topological phases along with density of states. A topological phase diagram of this model is presented. Behavior of thermal Hall conductivity for those phases is studied. Sharp jumps of thermal hall conductivity is noted near the vicinity of phase transition points. Topological phases of the Kitaev spin-liquid compounds, [Formula: see text]-RuCl3, X2IrO3, X = (Na, Li) and CrY3, Y = (Cl, Br, I) are characterized based on this theoretical findings.
