RESUMO

Cervical cancer (CC) remains a major health concern globally, much of the brunt of which is experienced by the low- and middle-income countries where screening in terms of cytology and DNA genotyping for the high-risk oncogenic subtypes of the human papilloma virus (hr-HPV) is either inadequate or performed rather late. In this study, we aimed to determine biomarkers or panels of biomarkers that are capable of diagnosing the precancerous cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) stages from healthy and CC patients via untargeted gas chromatography-mass spectrometry-based metabolomics. Various cross-comparisons were conducted from which differential metabolites were identified. The underlying metabolic pathways based on the differential metabolites identified from the various cross-comparisons mainly related to amino acids biosynthesis and metabolism and steroid hormone biosynthesis. From all cross-comparisons, two common metabolites namely, 2-methyl-1-propylamine (also known as isobutylamine) and estrone were found to possess excellent to good diagnostic abilities, especially in distinguishing the early stages of CIN (CIN I, CIN II) from healthy women and CC patients. These findings have clinical significance in the sense that, once validated the 2-biomarker panel could be adopted in clinical practice for early diagnosis of CIN and invasive carcinoma. This would therefore inform the choice of treatment to be initiated by the clinician.

RESUMO

Aim: To investigate an association between eye injury and later academic and social performance. Materials: A retrospective longitudinal study of taking measurements multiple times was conducted including all severe eye injuries admitted during 2011-2017 at the main regional clinic to investigate changes in academic success and social inclusion before and after an injury. Parents/caregivers were surveyed asking questions on academic performance, and community/social involvement. In 2023 data on employment status were obtained. Kappa (ĸ) and non-parametric Wilcox-on signed-rank test for multiple comparisons were used. For association of employment status and post-injury visual acuity Fisher score was tested. Results: The total sample for assessing social inclusion and academic success was 36 and 25 children, respectively. In the following academic year ĸ agreements decreased from 0.88 (p<0.001) comparing pre-injury with a one-year post to 0.5106 (p<.0001) in the second year and 0.4750 (p=0.003) in the third, suggesting a deteriorating trend. A comparison of academic success before injury to two and three years after injury showed the trend significantly worsening with time (p=0.005, and 0.003, respectively). No association between an eye injury and social inclusion, as well as between employment and final visual acuity was noticed. Conclusion: Our findings suggest no association between social inclusion, employment, and eye trauma, while in later years academic success may be more impacted by the eye injury. Due to eye injury unpredictability in childhood age, both an informed and supportive climate environment at home and school is essential to minimize deleterious responses to eye trauma.

RESUMO

Flexible supercapacitors can potentially power next-generation flexible electronics. However, the mechanical and electrochemical stability of flexible supercapacitors under different flexible conditions is limited by the weak bonding between adjacent layers, posing a significant hindrance to their practical applicability. Herein, based on the uninterrupted 3D network during the growth of bacterial cellulose (BC), a flexible all-in-one supercapacitor is cultivated through a continuous biosynthesis process. This strategy ensures the continuity of the 3D network of BC throughout the material, thereby forming a continuous electrode-separator-electrode structure. Benefitting from this bioinspired structure, the all-in-one supercapacitor not only achieves a high areal capacitance (3.79 F cm-2) of electrodes but also demonstrates the integration of high tensile strength (2.15 MPa), high shear strength (more than 54.6 kPa), and high bending resistance, indicating a novel pathway toward high-performance flexible power sources.

RESUMO

【Objective】 To analyze the association between preschool children′s emotional regulation ability and parents′ participation in accompanying picture book reading, in order to provide theoretical reference for improving children′s emotional regulation abilility. 【Methods】 From September to November 2022, preschool children aged 3 - 6 years from Guangfeng County, Yukan County, Wannian County, Yanshan County and Wuyuan County were selected by random cluster stratified sampling method. Mann-Whitney U test or Kruskal-Wallis H test were used to analyze the correlation of different levels of children′s emotional control ability with different demographic characteristics as well as parents′ participation in children′s picture book reading. Multivariate Logistic regression model was used to analyze the correlation between parents′ involvement in picture book reading and children′s emotional control ability. 【Results】 Finally 848 valid questionnaires were collected. The average age of children was (4.33±0.95)years old, with 432 boys and 416 girls. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the temperament control ability(>P75) of preschool children was positively correlated with mother being the main accompanying caregiver (OR=4.17, 95%CI: 2.13 - 8.17), and negatively correlated with father being the main accompanying caregiver (OR=0.38, 95%CI: 0.21 - 0.70) or both parents being the main accompanying caregivers (OR=0.14, 95%CI: 0.07 - 0.28)(P<0.05). The social confidence (father as the main caregiver OR=3.53, 95%CI:1.62 - 7.66; mother as the main caregiver OR=3.52, 95%CI: 1.66 - 7.45) and anxiety control abilities(father as the main caregiver OR=4.32, 95%CI: 1.85 - 10.09; mother as the main caregiver OR=3.39, 95%CI: 1.49 - 7.73) of preschool children were positively correlated with the type of accompanying caregiver(P<0.05). Additionally, the anxiety control ability (>P75) of preschool children was negatively correlated with father′s accompanying frequency (sometimes OR=0.09, 95%CI: 0.03 - 0.28; often OR=0.19, 95%CI: 0.06 - 0.60) and mother′s accompanying duration (<1h/d OR=0.33, 95%CI: 0.12 - 0.91) (P<0.05). 【Conclusions】 The frequency and duration of accompanying reading by father or mother are correlated with the emotional regulation ability of preschool children. Parents can moderately participate in picture book reading to promote the development of preschool children′s emotional control ability.

RESUMO

The developmental origins of health and disease(DOHaD)suggests that a poor maternal developmental environment during pregnancy can significantly increase the risk of chronic metabolic diseases such as obesity, diabetes mellitus(DM),and cardiovascular disease in offspring during adulthood. The adverse environmental factors of the father's generation influence the glucose and lipid metabolism of the offspring. The environmental factors exposed by the father before fertilization, such as over nutrition, obesity, diabetes caused cross generation reprogramming in offspring, and develop glucose and lipid metabolism disorders, which can last for one or more generations.Currently, paternal origin of health and disease(POHaD)has received widespread attention and has important scientific value and social significance. This article reviews the research progress on the impact of parental nutritional environment on offspring glucose metabolism.

RESUMO

Objective To understand the prevalence and risk factors of hyperuricemia in electronics factory workers in Wuhan, and to provide evidence for the health protection of electronics factory workers. Methods A total of 1 415 employees in an electronics factory in Wuhan were selected as the research subjects, and the physical examination and determination of various biochemical indicators, as well as questionnaire survey were carried out. Results The detection rate of hyperuricemia among workers in the electronics factory in Wuhan was 32.43%, with 36.33% for men and 14.11% for women, and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=46.077,P<0.001). The detection rate of hyperuricemia was the highest (33.77%) among those with university or college education, followed by graduate students and above (31.50%). Compared with subjects with good lifestyle habits, people with drinking habits had higher hyperuricemia detection rate (49.38%), and the difference was statistically significant (P =0.001). The detection rates of hyperuricemia in those with central obesity and elevated alanine aminotransferase were 48.23% and 61.29%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the subjects without the above diseases (26.91% and 27.21%, respectively), and the differences were statistically significant (P 2 (OR=2.175, 95% CI=1.686 -2.806, P <0.001) were risk factors for hyperuricemia in electronic factory workers. Elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT) was significantly correlated with hyperuricemia (OR=2.964, 95%CI=2.146-4.095 , P <0.001). Female gender was a protective factor for hyperuricemia in workers in the electronics factory (OR=0.441, 95%CI=0.297-0.653 , P <0.001). Conclusion The detection rate of hyperuricemia among workers in an electronics factory in Wuhan is high, and the detection rate of hyperuricemia in men is higher than that in women. Alcohol consumption, overweight and obesity will increase the risk of hyperuricemia. Elevated ALT is associated with hyperuricemia. Maintaining an ideal body mass index and establishing a good lifestyle play an important role in preventing hyperuricemia.

RESUMO

Recent clinical studies have shown that mutation of phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10 (PTEN) gene in cancer cells may be associated with immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) and poor response to immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy. Therefore, efficiently restoring PTEN gene expression in cancer cells is critical to improving the responding rate to ICB therapy. Here, we screened an adeno-associated virus (AAV) capsid for efficient PTEN gene delivery into B16F10 tumor cells. We demonstrated that intratumorally injected AAV6-PTEN successfully restored the tumor cell PTEN gene expression and effectively inhibited tumor progression by inducing tumor cell immunogenic cell death (ICD) and increasing immune cell infiltration. Moreover, we developed an anti-PD-1 loaded phospholipid-based phase separation gel (PPSG), which formed an in situ depot and sustainably release anti-PD-1 drugs within 42 days in vivo. In order to effectively inhibit the recurrence of melanoma, we further applied a triple therapy based on AAV6-PTEN, PPSG@anti-PD-1 and CpG, and showed that this triple therapy strategy enhanced the synergistic antitumor immune effect and also induced robust immune memory, which completely rejected tumor recurrence. We anticipate that this triple therapy could be used as a new tumor combination therapy with stronger immune activation capacity and tumor inhibition efficacy.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the correlation between 23 metals and metalloids elements in the urine and thyroid function indicators in the blood of traffic police. Methods A cross-sectional study was performed to assess the effects of 23 metals and metalloids elements in the urine on blood thyroid function indicators in 166 traffic policemen (122 field staff and 44 internal staff) in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Each subject received an occupational health examination. Results After multiple corrections for false detection rates, in the polymetallic model, the levels of urinary manganese and urinary uranium were positively correlated with the levels of thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) in the blood (β = 66.57, 95% CI 2.92-130.22, P = 0.040 and β = 62.43, 95% CI 14.37-110.49, P = 0.011), and the level of urinary uranium was positively correlated with thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) levels in the blood (β = 6.20, 95% CI 2.68-9.72 , P = 0.001). Urinary uranium level was negatively correlated with free thyroxine level in the blood (FT4) (β = -2.03, 95 % CI (-3.67 )- (-0.39), P = 0.015), and urinary lead level was negatively correlated with blood TSH level (β = -4.59, 95% CI (-8.67) - (-0.51), P = 0.027). Conclusion Manganese exposure is related to the increase of TPOAb level in blood, uranium exposure is related to the increase of TPOAb and TSH levels and the decrease of FT4 level in blood, and lead exposure is related to the decrease of TSH level in blood, suggesting that more attention should be paid to the effects of heavy metals on the thyroid of traffic police.

RESUMO

Objectives To investigate the relationship between self-reported occupational noise exposure and levels of plasma inflammatory cytokines in asthmatic patients. Methods A total of 910 adult asthmatic patients were selected as the study subjects, and their occupational noise exposure history and other related information were collected. The peripheral blood samples were collected from the patients, and the expression levels of plasma soluble CD14 (sCD14), complement factor D (CFD), Eotaxin-11 (CCL11), and IL-9 were determined. The relationship between self-reported occupational noise exposure and the expression levels of the four inflammatory cytokines in patients’ plasma were analyzed using multiple linear regression models. The interactions between confounding factors and self-reported occupational noise exposure were further analyzed by interaction analysis. Results The plasma CCL11, sCD14 and CFD expressions in asthmatic patients with self-reported occupational noise exposure were significantly higher than those in patients without the exposure (P<0.05). After adjusting for confounding factors, compared with patients reporting no occupational noise exposure, the plasma CFD expression was increased by 0.17 (95% CI: 0.02, 0.31) natural logarithm units in patients with self-reported occupational noise exposure. During remission, the levels of plasma CCL11 and sCD14 in asthmatic patients with self-reported occupational noise exposure were increased by 0.27 (95% CI: 0.05, 0.49) and 0.22 (95% CI: 0.02, 0.41) natural logarithm units, respectively, when compared with patients without the exposure. Interaction analysis showed that self-reported occupational noise exposure had significant multiplicative interaction with smoking or pet ownership on plasma CCL11 or CFD expressions in asthmatic patients (all P<0.05). Conclusion Self-reported occupational noise exposure is significantly associated with increased expression levels of plasma CFD, CCL11, and sCD14 in adult asthmatic patients.

RESUMO

Morita therapy has been bom for more than 100 years.Inpatient Morita therapy is highly oper-able and easy to master. It can improve many refractory neuroses through four-stage treatment. But more neuroses are treated in outpatient clinics, and Morita therapy cannot be used in hospitalized patients. Therefore, the formula-tion of expert opinions on outpatient operations is particularly important. This paper is based on domestic and for-eign references, and after many discussions by domestic Morita therapy experts, and then drew up the first version of the expert opinions on operation of outpatient Morita therapy.Meanwhile the operation rule of Morita therapy in three stages of outpatient treatment was formulated:in the etiological analysis stage, under the theoretical guidance of Morita therapy, analyze the pathogenic factors,to improve treatment compliance and reduce resistance;during the operating stage, guide patients to engage in constructive and meaningful actions, realizing the achievement of letting nature take its course principle;in the cultivating character and enriching life stage, pay attention to positive infor-mation,expanding the scope and content of actions, improving the ability to adapt to complex life, and preventing recurrence caused by insufficient abilities. It will lay a foundation for the promotion of Morita therapy in domestic outpatient clinics,so that more patients with neurosis and other psychological diseases could receive characteristic Morita therapy treatment in outpatient clinics.

RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the safety and efficiency of depilation with intense pulsed light (IPL) in congenital microtia patients during different phase of reconstruction treatment sessions. Methods:The hairy skin was treated with the M22TM system (Lumenis, German) using a filter of 695-1 200 mm. A three pluses mode of the radiant setting with a pulse width of 3.5 ms, a delay of 60 ms, and an energy density of 16-18 mJ/cm 2 was applied in the expanded patients. Depilation efficacy was evaluated as follows: excellent (hair density reduction >75%), good (50%-75%), fair (25%-50%), and poor (<25%). The depilation effect was compared between different phases. And the adverse effect was observed. Results:A total of 131 cases were included. There was no difference of the hair density reduction between patients with different expander volume after same IPL depilation treatments [15 (13-19) vs. 16 (15-19) root/cm 2, Wilcoxon rank analysis]. The hair density reduction in the expansion group was lower than the non-expansion group after two IPL depilation treatments [15 (13-19) vs. 17 (15-21) root/cm 2, P<0.05, Wilcoxon rank analysis]. The depilation efficacy was highly related with the numbers of IPL depilation treatments the patients received [Kendall′ stat b=0.74 (95% CI: 0.71-0.77), P<0.05]. There were 3 cases of folliculitis, 2 cases of blisters occurred in this study, and no expander exposure and cartilage absorption were observed. Conclusions:Hair removal with IPL is a safe and effective photo-epilation method during all stages of ear reconstruction using tissue expander. The volume of the expander does not significantly affect the hair removal efficiency. Depilation in the expansion phase is more efficient than that in the non-expansion phase, and the ideal result of " hair-free" or " less hairy" reconstructed ears can be achieved in 5 treatments, with suboptimal results in 3 treatments.

RESUMO

STUDY OBJECTIVES: Increasing evidence suggests that napping is associated with cognitive impairment and dementia, but the conclusions are inconsistent. Moreover, the extent of the risk is uncertain. We therefore conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to quantify the connection between napping and cognitive impairment. METHODS: We performed a systematic search of PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library for studies that were published up to June 2023, and assessed associations between napping and cognitive impairment. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated as the effect sizes for all studies. Heterogeneity and potential publication biases were assessed. RESULTS: A total of 4535 papers were retrieved, with 20 reports assessing the relationships between napping and cognitive impairment. Pooled analysis indicated that napping was associated with dementia (OR = 1.14; 95% CI: 1.07-1.21). Importantly, we found that those napping longer than 30, 45, and 60 min/day were 35%, 41%, and 40%, respectively, more likely to have an increased risk of cognitive impairment (30 min: OR = 1.35; 95% CI: 1.24-1.48; 45 min: OR = 1.41; 95% CI: 1.27-1.58; 60 min: OR = 1.40; 95% CI: 1.26-1.56). North America and Europe showed that associations existed between napping and cognitive impairment (North America: OR = 1.15; 95% CI: 1.04-1.27; Europe: OR = 1.13; 95% CI: 1.08-1.18). CONCLUSIONS: This meta-analysis indicated associations between long napping durations and cognitive impairment or dementia, suggesting that longer napping might be a potential risk factor of adverse cognitive outcomes.

RESUMO

The exploration of extreme environments has become necessary for understanding and changing nature. However, the development of functional materials suitable for extreme conditions is still insufficient. Herein, a kind of nacre-inspired bacterial cellulose (BC)/synthetic mica (S-Mica) nanopaper with excellent mechanical and electrical insulating properties that has excellent tolerance to extreme conditions is reported. Benefited from the nacre-inspired structure and the 3D network of BC, the nanopaper exhibits excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength (375 MPa), outstanding foldability, and bending fatigue resistance. In addition, S-Mica arranged in layers endows the nanopaper with remarkable dielectric strength (145.7 kV mm-1 ) and ultralong corona resistance life. Moreover, the nanopaper is highly resistant to alternating high and low temperatures, UV light, and atomic oxygen, making it an ideal candidate for extreme environment-resistant materials.

RESUMO

The oriented pore structure of wood endows it with a variety of outstanding properties, among which the low thermal conductivity has attracted researchers to develop wood-like aerogels as excellent thermal insulation materials. However, the increasing demands of environmental protection have put forward new and strict requirements for the sustainability of aerogels. Here, we report an all-natural wood-inspired aerogel consisting of all-natural ingredients and develop a method to activate the surface-inert wood particles to construct the aerogel. The obtained wood-inspired aerogel has channel structure similar to that of natural wood, endowing it with superior thermal insulation properties to most existing commercial sponges. In addition, remarkable fire retardancy and complete biodegradability are integrated. With the above outstanding performances, this sustainable wood-inspired aerogel will be an ideal substitute for the existing commercial thermal insulation materials.

RESUMO

A novel hydrothermal pretreatment was applied for the biochemical treatment of phenolic wastewater with high concentrations of phenolic substances. The results demonstrated that 250 °C was the reaction temperature dividing point for complete oxidation, hydrothermal gasification, and amino release from carbonaceous organics in phenolic wastewater. Before the dividing point reached, some of the large molecules were hydrolyzed into small molecules of volatile phenolic substances that were easily adsorbed by the activated sludge. After the integrated hydrothermal pretreatment and anaerobic/aeration process, the removal rate of volatile phenolswas respectively reached by 97 % and 88 % with hydrothermal temperature of 250 °C and without pretreatment. Functional microorganisms (i.e., Chloroflexi) responsible for aromatic compounds degradation were enriched, thus the dioxygenases, dehydrogenase reactions, and meta-cleavage of catechol were enhanced. This work provided an innovative approach to remove phenolic substances from phenolic wastewater, and in-depth understandings of microbial responses in biochemical systems.

RESUMO

AIM: To investigate the safety and efficacy of intense pulsed light in the treatment of severe chronic ocular graft-versus-host disease.METHODS: Prospective randomized controlled study. A total of 35 cases(35 eyes), who had a history of allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT), admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from January to September 2022 and were diagnosed by our hospital's hematology and ophthalmology departments with severe chronic ocular graft-versus-host disease(coGVHD)were selected. One eye was randomly selected for inclusion in the study if both eyes met the enrollment criteria, and the eye was selected if a single eye met the enrollment criteria. All patients were administrated with Dextran and Hypromellose eye drops 4 times a day and Cyclosporine eye drops twice a day. The experimental group was additionally treated with intense pulsed light, once every two weeks a week, for 4 times in total. The evaluation indicators were evaluated before treatment and 2wk, 1 and 2mo after treatment. The evaluation indicators include ocular surface disease index(OSDI)score, best corrected visual acuity(BCVA), intraocular pressure(IOP), tear meniscus height(TMH), non-invasive break-up time(NIBUT), conjunctival injection score(CIS), meibomian gland area proportion(MGAP), meibomian gland evaluation(MGE), cornea fluorescein staining(CFS), conjunctival lissamine green staining(CLGS), lid margin abnormality score(LMAS), and Schirmer's Ⅰ test(SⅠt).RESULTS: After treatment, OSDI score, TMH, NIBUT, BCVA, CFS, CLGS, and CIS improved in both groups compared with those before treatment(all P<0.05), with NIBUT, CFS and CLGS showing more significant improvements in the test group. In the control group, MGAP, MGE of the upper and lower eyelids and LMAS did not change significantly before and after treatment(P>0.05), while in the experimental group, MGAP of the lower eyelids, MGE of upper and lower eyelids and LMAS improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), except for MGAP of the upper eyelids, which did not differ from that before treatment(P>0.05). There was no difference in SⅠt and IOP between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05). Patients did not experience adverse reactions such as skin burns, redness and swelling in the treated area and eyelash loss during the follow-up period.CONCLUSION: Intense pulsed light is safe and effective in the treatment of severe coGVHD, which can significantly improve the symptoms and signs of patients and enhance the stability of tear film.

RESUMO

AIM: To detect the expression of interleukin(IL)-36(α, β, γ)in tears of patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT), investigate its correlation with ocular surface microenvironment, and further analyze the relationship between its expression and ocular graft-versus-host disease(oGVHD).METHODS: Prospective study. A total of 35 patients(70 eyes)underwent allo-HSCT in the hematology department of our hospital in January 2020 were selected, and 35 healthy volunteers(70 eyes)with appropriate age and gender were selected as normal control group. The patients in the allo-HSCT group were followed up 3 times after operation once every 3mo. The subjects with postoperative ocular symptoms were divided into oGVHD and Non-oGVHD group.Ocular surface disease index(OSDI)questionnaire, Schirmer test, tear break-up time(TBUT), corneal fluorescein staining(FL), and conjunctival impression cytology(CIC)was conducted in three groups. Furthermore, the expression levels of IL-36(α,β,γ)in tears were detected by ELISA.RESULTS: In the normal control group, IL-36(α, β, γ)expression levels were 74.32±5.27, 70.02±8.43, 97.41±8.66 pg/mL, respectively; in the allo-HSCT group, IL-36(α, β, γ)baseline expression levels were 77.27±7.03, 74.53±7.53, 100.77±9.74 pg/mL, with no statistically significant differences between the two groups(t=1.648, 1.954, 1.262, all P>0.05). There were no significant differences in IL-36α, IL-36β and IL-36γ in Non-oGVHD group at different time points(P>0.05), while there were significant differences in IL-36α, IL-36β and IL-36γ in oGVHD group at different time points(P<0.05). Compared with Non-oGVHD group, the levels of IL-36α and IL-36β at different time points were significantly increased in oGVHD group(all P<0.05).IL-36(α, β, γ)of oGVHD group was positively correlated with OSDI score, FL and CIC, while it was negatively correlated with TBUT and Schirmer test(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Evaluation of levels of tear IL-36(α, β, γ)can be of significance in diagnosing oGVHD after allo-HSCT. IL-36(α, β, γ)is highly expressed in the tears of oGVHD patients before the onset of ocular symptoms, and it is correlated with the ocular surface parameters.

RESUMO

AIM: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of lacrimal canalicular plug in the treatment of severe chronic ocular graft-versus-host disease(coGVHD).METHODS: Retrospective study. A total of 9 patients with severe coGVHD admitted to the dry eye clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from June to September 2022 were included. All patients underwent binocular inferior lacrimal canaliculus plug. Ocular surface disease index(OSDI)score, tear meniscus height(TMH), corneal fluorescein staining(CFS)scores, conjunctival lisamine green staining(CLGS)score, noninvasive breakup time(NIBUT), Schirmer Ⅰ test(SⅠt)and the infiltration of Langerhans cells in the superficial corneal stroma tested by confocal corneal microscopy were observed before treatment and at 1 and 3 mo after treatment. At the same time, the complications related to lacrimal canalicular plug implantation were evaluated.RESULTS: The OSDI score decreased from 67.33±12.64 before treatment to 21.89±6.07 after 3mo of treatment(P<0.01); TMH increased from 0.09±0.02mm to 0.21±0.03mm after 3mo of treatment(P<0.05), and NIBUT increased from 2.24±0.68s before treatment to 6.77±2.05s after 3mo of treatment(P<0.01). In addition, the CFS and CLGS also changed significantly, from 9.11±1.45 and 6.33±1.00 before treatment to 2.22±0.67 and 2.56±0.88 at 3mo after treatment, respectively(all P<0.01). The density of Langerhans cells decreased from 140.22±38.18cells/mm2 before treatment to 39.67±9.75cells/mm2 3mo after treatment(P<0.01). SⅠt showed no significant difference before and after treatment(F=0.059, P=0.943). During the whole follow-up period, no complications such as plug abscission were observed.CONCLUSION: Lacrimal canalicular plug is safe and effective in the treatment of severe coGVHD. It can significantly improve the symptoms and signs of dry eye patients and reduce inflammatory reaction.

RESUMO

Objective: To analyze the safety, effectiveness, economics, innovation, suitability and accessibility of tetrandrine in the treatment of pneumoconiosis, and provide evidence-based basis for health policy decision-making and clinical practice. Methods: In July 2022, the system searched PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, CNKI, Wanfang, SinoMed databases (the retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to June 30, 2022), screened the documents that meet the standards, extracted and evaluated the data, and used the "HTA checklist" developed by the International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment (INAHTA) to evaluate the HTA report. AMSTAR-2 Scale was used to evaluate the quality of systematic evaluation/Meta analysis. CHEERS Scale was used to evaluate the quality of pharmacoeconomics research. The included cohort study or case-control study was evaluated with the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. The included randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies were evaluated using the Cochrane Risk Bias Assessment Tool (Cochrane RCT) quality evaluation criteria. Comprehensive comparison and analysis based on the characteristics of the data included in the study. Results: A total of 882 related literatures were detected from the initial screening. According to relevant standards, 8 RCT studies were finally selected for analysis. Statistical results showed that basic treatment with tetrandrine could better improve FEV(1) (MD=0.13, 95%CI: 0.06-0.20, P<0.001), FEV(1)/FVC (MD=4.48, 95%CI: 0.61-8.35, P=0.02) and clinical treatment efficiency. Tetrandrine had a low incidence of adverse reactions. The affordability coefficient of tetrandrine tablets was 0.295-0.492. Conclusion: Tetrandrine can improve the clinical symptoms and pulmonary ventilation function of pneumoconiosis patients, most of the adverse reactions are mild, and the clinical application is safe.

RESUMO

AIM: To investigate the effects of curcumin on the proliferation and apoptosis and migration of human pterygium fibroblasts(HPF)in vitro.METHODS: A total of 7 cases of pterygium tissue removed at our hospital from November 24, 2021 to December 16, 2021 were collected. Then, primary fibroblasts were cultured in vitro and identified by immunofluorescence staining. HPF were treated with 0, 10, 20, 40, 80 and 160μmol/L curcumin containing equal amount of dimethyl sulfoxide for 24h, then the cell proliferation was detected by CCK8 assay. According to the results of CCK8, the cells were divided into control group, 20μmol/L curcumin group and 40μmol/L curcumin group, and the cells were treated with corresponding concentration of curcumin for 24h in each group. Flow cytometry was used to detect apoptosis, Transwell migration assay was used to detect cell migration, and real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction and Western blot were used to detect the expression of mRNA and protein of B-cell lymphoma-2 associated X protein(Bax), B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2), Cyclin D1 and matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2).RESULTS: Compared with the control group, both 20μmol/L curcumin group and 40μmol/L curcumin group can inhibit the proliferation and migration of HPF and induce its apoptosis(all P<0.05). Compared with the control group, 20μmol/L curcumin group can down-regulate the mRNA expression of Cyclin D1 and MMP2, up-regulate the mRNA expression of Bax, and down-regulate the protein expression of Bcl-2(all P<0.05). Compared with the control group, 40μmol/L curcumin group can down-regulate the expression of mRNA and protein of Bcl-2, Cyclin D1 and MMP2, and up-regulate the expression of mRNA and protein of Bax(all P<0.05). Compared with 20 μmol/L curcumin group, the 40 μmol/L curcumin group can down-regulate the mRNA expression of MMP2, down-regulate the protein expression of Bcl-2, and up-regulate the mRNA and protein expression of Bax(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Curcumin can inhibit the proliferation of HPF by inhibiting the expression of Cyclin D1, induce the apoptosis of HPF by down-regulating Bcl-2 and up-regulating the expression of Bax, and inhibit the migration of HPF by down-regulating the expression of MMP2.
